Ms. Williams writes a sexy, fast-paced novella. Her characters are fun to read about. Although the novella is short, she packs passion and intrigue into every page. You can’t help but root for the characters to get together and stay together. Although there were a couple of minor editing issues, the novella was very enjoyable and definitely worth a second, third, and fourth read.

I liked that Tony stayed forthright with Alexis throughout the story. He wanted her with a single-minded devotion. That’s rare and beautiful. I also liked that Alexis went with her gut instincts and still bore some reservations about him. It’s hard to believe in love that fast and very human to doubt. And the sex scenes? Red hot!!!
If you want a simmering story about people who belong together and the forces of nature that hurry that relationship along, then Your Local Handyman is the novella for you. I give this work 4 ½ cherries.
