Michael’s hating life since his lover Alex dumped him on what should have been a very important night for them. Even his best friend Jim is having trouble bringing Michael out of his slump. Until Jim does, with a temporary solution to Michael’s loneliness that’s as unexpected as it is welcome, at first.

The last thing Jim expects when he tries to cheer Michael up is to fall in love with the guy. They’re just comforting each other; being very friends with benefits, right? So why is Jim so damned hurt when Mike takes off without as much as a goodbye? What is it about Michael that has Jim feeling lost without him? And is there any chance that Mike feels it too, or will Jim forever think of Michael as the one that got away?

Can Michael, a slightly built, not terribly attractive young man find love and happiness with a studly hunk? For six months it appeared that would be the case until Michael’s world came crashing down on him. Turning to his roommate Jim, for consolation, helped a great deal until events compelled Michael to leave the place he shared with Jim and get on the first bus out of town. He had two choices – to stay in Boston or return home. Neither seemed to be the ideal solution, but he had to make a choice.

I enjoyed the story more toward the end than I did the beginning. I felt it took a while to really get into the nitty gritty of the story. levitra 10 mg Another benefit of online purchasing is concerned with its cheapprices. The author had a way with words that was entertaining but sometimes I was just a bit befuddled about what was being said. Some sentences were a bit awkward.

I was looking for more about Michael’s first love, looking for a twist concerning him that wasn’t there. That is not the author’s fault, it was my own expectation. There is a bit of a twist that is satisfying and I’m happy to say this story has a happy ever after ending. I did like how the author made a point of not everyone being drop dead gorgeous and that it’s important to look at a person’s inner beauty.

I would have rated it higher had it been written a bit differently. Still, if you like hot, steamy M/M sex with warmth and affection, this is a good read.
