A demon, a mage, and a human went into the gates of Abaddon. Sounds like a joke? It’s not. It’s the gripping introduction to Spirits of Abaddon: Sanctified and let me tell you, when you start this book, you won’t want to put it down.

First off, I love Mychael Black’s books. I’m hooked. When I saw Sanctified came out, I had to grab a copy. I’m so glad I did. The end of the previous book had a cliffhanger in it and I needed to find out what happened next.

From the start, I loved Jesse and Gabriel. When I cracked this book, I knew I’d be in for a treat, but goodness. The action really never stopped and I caught myself holding my breath. Just when I thought the plot would go one way, it went the total opposite and it worked so well. And the ending! It was just as it needed to be and couldn’t have been better or unexpected.

If you want a story with steamy sex, horny demons, and plot twists galore, then you need to read Sanctified. I give it 5 cherries and can’t wait for the next installment.
