Leyland, Jake, and Lucas are fascinating individuals each with their own strengths and weaknesses who come together to form an interesting threesome. Although at times I felt Leyland was a bit immature and annoying, he was a remarkable character and a nice complement to his two partners. Jake, the Alpha male, was a strong character who has some jealousy issues to deal with as he didn’t expect to share his mate…even if it is with his best friend and lover. And I really felt for Lucas, Jake’s Beta wolf and lover at the beginning of the story as he faced losing his best friend and lover to someone else. He had a lot to deal with so it was interesting to see him realize that Leyland was meant for him as well. Both Jake and Lucas will do anything to keep Leyland and their concern and caring comes across very well. And as I said things quickly heat up for Leyland and his lovers when it comes to the sexual side of their relationship…almost too quickly. The three share a touching and highly sensual relationship and their love scenes definitely heat this story up from the very beginning.

The ending of this story and the threesome’s relationship really touched me as I felt for the men. I don’t wish to spoil anything, but let’s just say that the three have a lot to learn throughout the story about their bond and what it means for them both mentally and physically. The whole concept of a tri-omega and the relationship between the three men fascinated me as we learned more about what it means.

What also fascinated me was the pack of werewolves living on the ranch. Jake is the Alpha of a small pack of werewolves who were ostracized from their original pack for being gay. You can’t help but feel for these men and I longed to know more about the various members of the pack. With a few secondary characters who look like they will get stories of their own, this was a great start to what promises to be an interesting series.
