This is my first foray into the world of Cooper McKenzie. I’d heard great things and wanted to know for myself. I wasn’t disappointed. This story is hot! Although it’s only thirty-one pages, there is a lot going on. The heat starts on page one and doesn’t let up until the very end. The characters are realistic and interesting, but I wanted to know more about them. What made them tick? What was the incident that helped Alaina to come out of her shell. I liked Alaina, but again, I wanted to know more about her. She complains at one point about not liking the toy (Not that she dislikes it, but that she’s so overwrought with lust that it’s hard to work). This makes sense, but I wanted to see it more. I wanted to see her working on the quilt (or not) and how she dealt with it in the moment.

The sex and play scenes in this story are hot, hot, hot and will keep you squirming in your seat, I guarantee.

If you want a story that’s sizzling and sweet, then you need to read Pushing Boundaries. I give this four cherries.
