Lemon Kisses is a great introduction to yaoi, the Japanese depiction of a gay romance. These can be dark and painful representations of gay relationships or they can be lighthearted, funny and sweet. It’s a dark yet sexy but with a happily ever after.

I enjoyed Lemon Kisses, even though two of the stories weren’t to my taste although you may find differently. I felt each story did stay true to this sub-genre of gay romance and truly entertaining. So if you were looking to try out yaoi, this book gives you a sample of several different sub genres inside of yaoi while being a fun read.
