Although the plot did take a little longer than I would like to get rolling, once it did the author kept it going. I really liked the fact that she kept you on the edge of your chair the entire time trying to figure out exactly what was going on with Todd. Unlike many paranormal romance books I have read, the author had me questioning exactly who and what Todd really was. Although lacking in external conflict this erotic couple was not lacking internal conflicts. Todd’s inability to commit, and Anna still not knowing if she is able to get over losing her husband, make you wonder if they will ever be able to truly be together.
Just when I thought the story was all romance and no sex, boy, did it get hot. Todd does everything he can to ensure he tends to Anna’s every sexual need. He left me and Anna both satisfied. If you want a story that is a good mixture of romance and eroticism, this story is for you.
