Vampires Rick and Maddox have seen more Christmases than anyone should be subjected to, but their ladies, Julia and Madeline respectively, want at least a small celebration of the holiday this year. The trouble starts when the gift turns out to be a super aphrodisiac that causes Julia to be in an insatiable state of arousal. Was the gift a mistake or a trap? Can Maddox and Madeline find an antidote? Can Rick keep up until they do?

Vampires Rick and Maddox are giving their ladies, Julia and Madeline, a Christmas to remember.

When Rick gifts Julia with what he believes is a safe and gentle aphrodisiac, things go bad quickly. It would seem that his gift was tampered with, causing an insatiable hunger in Julia, one that Rick, even with his vampiric endurance will be hard pressed to satisfy. Can Maddox and Madeline find out what happened, and find a way to help before Rick runs out of energy? Can they keep Julia safe while they seek an antidote? And will they find out who is behind this before it is too late?

There is a lot happening in this short story; sex, danger and surprises all abound here. I like the idea that, in Isabella Jordan’s supernatural world, vampires like Rick can love lycans like Julia. This is hot on so many different levels, I thought it would melt the screen on my reader.

There is a twist here, with a dangerous edge that is quickly handled by Madeline and Maddox. It is this twist that eventually provides the antidote to Julia’s little problem, and leads to the happy ever after for both couples.
