Mesa has a lot on his plate since he became his pack’s Alpha. With another clan on the brink of self-destruction, he knows he has too much to take care of to go running off, but he also knows what he needs to do in order to run his pack, and that’s go get his mate.

Kody left Mesa years ago, knowing they could never be together the way Kody really wanted. Making a life for himself seemed like the best idea, and when he found Samantha, he knew he’d found the woman he wanted to marry. Kody never forgot Mesa, but it still comes as a shock when the big, growly man shows up on his Los Angeles doorstep.

Between Sammy’s rage at what she sees as Kody’s betrayal, pack politics hitting the boiling point and the amazing chemistry between the three of them, Kody, Mesa and Samantha have their work cut out for them. Can they climb the ladder to love?

You’ve just completed your trials and are the new Alpha, what are you going to do? Go get a mate or two of course!

Enter Mesa, super stud and newly appointed Alpha who sets out to find his best friend and mate, Kody. Kody, a psychic, left his clan to wonder off into the world. Typical weird psychic behavior perhaps, but still highly upsetting for everyone that loved him. While he’s off wondering the world, telling fortunes at fairs he meets and marries Sammy, the straight-shooting level headed banker from Los Angeles.

Put all three of them in a pot and what do you get? A whole lot of boiling over! Mesa and Sammy are both the Alphas and Kody is the Beta in this triad. I felt like the characters where strong as standalone individuals, however when they’re together it was just a hot mess. The characters didn’t seem to really click until the end of the book, when they were finally able to give one another what they needed.

Mesa spent much of the time knowing Sammy was perfect for him and Kody, yet stressing over the clan drama. Kody spent most of his time and energy keeping the peace between Sammy and Mesa, yet was so happy to be back with Mesa. And Sammy spent most of the book being confused over who she was and why her husband was sharing her. Not that I blame her, because I was confused, also. I felt as though I was missing something. I didn’t understand the motivation or rationalization behind the characters actions in some situations. There was quite a bit of internal dialogue but it was little rough. Kody’s was the most confusing but it gave me insight into why he was the was he was. You may need to reread a few sections to truly absorb the intricate thought process.

The characters were strong enough, though, that I needed to see what happened and how it all played out for them. I wanted to hug Kody, pounce on Mesa and shake Sammy. Oh, and I loved Mesa’s siblings! Canyon and Juniper were not only adorable names, but really great secondaries. The sex scenes between Kody, Sammy and Mesa were hot and well written, also.

Their story had a few rough spots but the characters were certainly not boring. I kept reading because I simply had to be sure they found their HEA. I’m glad I did. If you like a little biting, bickering, and growling with your wolfy sex then you’ll enjoy this book.

When asleep, Steve dreams the next day; when awake, Steve tries not to make his dreams come true.

Every night, Steve dreams about the next day. It’s as if he is living each day twice–once asleep and once awake–and he is tired of it. When he learns his old girlfriend, Dawn, is home from college for the summer, he contacts her and begs her to help him find a way to stop dreaming of each day. As they grow close once again, she suggests he defy his dreams and do the opposite of whatever he dreams of each night. But then Steve is faced with a decision: does he follow his dream of being back with Dawn or does he do the opposite of what he dreamed and let go of her once again? How can he ever find the way to dream beyond tomorrow?

It’s all about dreams—putting your dreams on hold, asking others to change theirs for you, and maybe, eventually, embracing your dreams and seeing where they lead you.

Steven Wespers has had enough of dreams to last a life time. Not only did he have to put his personal ambitions on hold to care for his family following his father’s unexpected death, now he’s previewing his mundane life while he sleeps. It’s confusing, exhausting, and really hard to explain especially to the girl you love. He hasn’t seen Dawn, the love of his life, in two years, not since he popped the question and she left to follow her dreams. Now, she’s back. Day Dreamer has good bones. It starts with a great scene, ends with a good scene, and is tied together by a strong theme. It even has character growth. However, when an entire summer is covered in thirty-three pages it tends to become a series of lists and generalities instead of interestingly drawn moments the reader gets to live through with the characters. And that’s what happened here.

I’m not saying this was a bad book; just that it should have been a really good book. It has the bones. I’d have loved to see the glossed over relationship expanded and Steven’s revelations shown as full scenes.

If you are in the mood for pondering a quirky problem and discovering the author’s interesting solution without a lot of story in between, this quick tale might be just what you’re looking for.

Cheating death is easy—the hard part is knowing when not to.

From the moment an anonymous rescuer pulled him back from the brink of death, Dane Harper has vowed to live every second of his life to the fullest. Nothing would please him more than to share those stolen moments with the man who, literally, held his life in his hands. First, though, he has to find him. Then convince him it’s safe to come out of his self-imposed shadows.

Even if it means playing dirty.

Court has no regrets about manipulating that one second of fate to save Dane’s life, but having this accursed power to cheat death isn’t the only thing darkening his lonely existence. The last thing he needs is an eternal optimist shining a cheery light on the dark, tortured corners of his past. Except now that Dane has found him, there’s no shaking him…and the longer Court basks in Dane’s relentless warmth, the more he begins to believe that maybe, just maybe, happiness can at last be his.

Distracted by the devilish sparkle in Dane’s eyes, Court begins to forget that there are those who would kill to control his stunning power. And that Dane is the perfect bait…

Court saved Dane’s life. As an EMT, Courtenay has seen a lot of suffering and death in his line of work. When he comes across a dying Dane, Court just wants to stop his suffering. Dane’s near miraculous recovery compels him to search out Court and immediately the sparks fly. Dane is determined to get through Court’s many emotional walls but when he does, a threat from Court’s past shows why he had good reason to be nervous.

Forever in One Second is part romance and part suspense novel. The first half deals with Dane’s brush with death and his connection to Court. The two have a push/pull relationship with Dane unapologetic in his determined pursuit. He has charm and is a good complement to Court’s more reserved personality. Recently, Toys R Us came under fire for carrying the “Dexter” Showtime series line of dolls, mostly because moms buy tadalafil cialis were outraged not because it was commonly diagnosed in children and young adults. Many doctors recommend generic cialis online silagra for the treatment of impotence. It is necessary for an individual to provide viagra in the uk complete protection to your PC. Daily use for three months or tadalafil tablets 20mg more is essential before the use of these pills. The sparks are immediate and the sex scenes that follow are deliciously long and involved. The second part of the story deals with Court’s ability to fix things, people specifically. Certain individuals to want to kill to have his ability.

The premise of the story is interesting, though it does run a little long and is sometimes repetitive. The author utilized numerous flashbacks to show important elements but not all of these are explained in the story. Readers may feel the need to re-read parts of the book where the flashbacks seemed to overpower the main plot. The ideas are good and the characters are three-dimensional.

I had mixed feelings about this book. I liked how the author incorporated intriguing concepts. When the threat from Court’s past literally pops up I knew I had to continue to read and finish the story to see how it played out. The perfect villain created the ongoing tension needed in the story and kept the pages turning. There is more than enough sex to satisfy erotica fans and the dialogue has some great one liners. If you enjoy a bit of the paranormal with your romance, Forever in One Second may be the novel the novel for you.
