With a few extra pounds and a geek reputation, Otis Tucker despairs of ever finding someone to share his life with. When the GLBT dating service GetaDate.com matches him with handsome hunk Garret, he thinks it’s some kind of joke. But the more he learns of Garret, the more he realizes that even gorgeous people can be taken at face value and that Mr. Perfects come in many different sizes.

Otis never thought he could catch a man by being himself but hunk Garrett proves him wrong. Otis is a computer specialist by day and a gamer geek by night. He’s trying to find love on an online dating site but Otis thinks he can only catch a man with a fake profile. When a friend eliminates Otis’ made up profile and replaces it with a real one, sexy Garrett is quick to notice. Although Garrett seems too good to be true, Otis soon realizes they just may be made for each other.

It’s a worthwhile read too as cutie Garrett is nearly perfect and even more perfect for Otis. The couple is nice together with some good chemistry. The writing is clean and although the pace is a little tepid, the story moves along very nicely. There are numerous touches that make this story fun: from the video game Otis is crazy about to Garrett’s very welcoming family.

If I had to point out any problems it would be that Garrett is almost too good to be true. Since the story is told from Otis’ perspective, Garrett remains a very two-dimensional character. He seems perfect in almost every way from accepting Otis’ overweight and bearish appearance to his love of all things geeky. It would have been nice if Garrett had been more developed and came across as more realistic but I’m not sure any readers will have a problem with a geeky guy finding the love of his life with a hot, sexy guy.

A Lie I Can Live With is a cute short story that gives a nice fantasy. It’s a little light on actual depth but is an enjoyable read anyway.

Bullrider and adrenaline junkie Colby is mid-jump in his ATV when his old rooming buddy Sean drives back into his life, sending him flying off his vehicle. Sean wants Colby to come to Hawaii for a charity event. Colby agrees to attend, but only if he and Sean can share a room again, just like in the old days.

Can these two rough-riding cowboys recapture a piece of the past, or can they do even better this go-round?

Colby knows what he wants and is bound and determined to get. A bull rider, he’s used to getting bumps and bruises, but a broken heart is not something he wishes to suffer through. He pulls out all the stops in trying to get Sean back.

Colby was written as a sweet fun loving character and all his efforts make it hard for Sean to deny him for long.

Sean is a retired rodeo star that isn’t quite out of the closet. He’s conflicted because he wants Colby but not sure if he is ready to risk their careers on that desire. I really liked Sean. The chemistry truly leapt off the pages between these two men. The story is only fifteen pages long but enough to whet your appetite for strong and rough cowboys, trying to find love on the neverending road of rodeo life.

Ms. Talbot wrote realistic characters that fed my imagination. Her descriptive writing drew me in and I became invested in these men. The ending was sweet and tugged at my heartstrings. My only wish was that this story was longer, just so I could see what happens after the rodeo. Where do Colby and Sean go from there?

Acting Out was a light-hearted story well worth a read. A perfect treat when you’re short on time and need a daily dose of romance!

What happens when good and evil don’t so much collide as merely annoy each other? Which, when young men are involved, quite often means that they really want to get to know each other.

Ash, a low level demon, and Cas, a low level angel, become aware of each other — in more ways than one — and set out to prove that good and evil can exist in close contact, even complementing each other. They blur the lines and cross them frequently with surprising and almost devastating results.

Life is not always as black and white as it seems, and the shades of gray can sometimes be so much fun. Aszebizel (Ash) has always seen things in black. How else is a demon suppose to see the world? Casimir (Cas) on the other hand has lived his life as white as possible. When both of these men meet, their black and white starts to seep and blur into one another creating a beautiful gray connection.

The age-old battle of good versus evil has always made for an intriguing romance story and this is no exception. I really think Ash and Cas complimented the light and dark of one another perfectly. Both were willing to go out of their comfort level for the other and even sacrifice themselves. This is something unheard of in the battle of angels versus demons and made the relationship much more significant. The tan one gets here lasts for http://downtownsault.org/the-valley-camp/ levitra prescription many months and looks great on Caucasians making them desirable. Usual treatments include using the sperm for brand viagra 100mg intrauterine insemination, in vitro fertilization, or IVF with intracytoplasmatic sperm injection and so on. I felt the internal battle of each character from beginning to end. I also enjoyed the emotional drama that came from their difficulty in accepting their relationship even though they’d taken the baby steps to accept one another as they were. I found myself rooting that they would be able to show others how accepting they could be of each other.

While this story is labeled erotic there was little to no sex through the story. There was no intercourse, just some heated make out sessions, and some touching. I would have liked to have seen a bit more of a physical or sexual relationship. Yes, I could tell the characters were physically attracted to one another, but I wanted to see them act on those feelings more. If they had, it would have just solidified the relationship for me.

This story gave me exactly what I would expect from a story based around a demon and angel falling in love with a few twists and turns along the way. If you are looking for a story to help you understand the shades of gray better, this is the story for you.

The gloss is off Brent’s relationship with Tyler; the real man is showing through and his inside does not match the outside. Tyler’s handsome and glamorous, but that’s no longer enough to overcome his selfishness. Brent’s got a better chance of teaching a cat to sit and stay than of convincing Tyler to be thoughtful, and it’s time to stop trying.

No longer distracted by appearances, a newly single Brent is finally ready to notice the considerate, steadfast man who’s been part of the background too long.

Training a lover is like training a cat…almost impossible.

First off, I want to say I saw the title and knew I had to nab this book. Then I read the blurb. I wasn’t thrilled with the characters in the little bit I gleaned from the blurb, but it didn’t stop me. Did I say the title snagged me? Yes, it was the title that kept me wanting to read the book.

I’m glad I read Training Cats.

The writing in this story, though occasionally flawed, flowed well enough that I never wanted to put the book down. I raced through the story wanting–needing–to know what would happen next. I thought about the characters when I had to put it down because I couldn’t keep my eyes open. Why? Brett and Ethan aren’t typical men. They have issues and circumstances that not everyone would be in.

Brett puts up with a lot. I mean, a LOT. It’s like his patience is almost too good to be true. Too bad life doesn’t want that for him.

Then there’s Ethan. The guy is creative and patient as well. He’s waiting for a change is so calm while he does this waiting. I don’t know if I’d have been so calm, but that’s me. The antagonist is pleasantly slimy. I had no troubles disliking him, and there was more of the feeling of wanting to give him a shake. But I loved how things came together. The build up was great and timed well. Oh and Monster? He’s the best part because I could totally identify with the freaked out, I’m-in-a-new-home-and-scared feelings he has. Great cat!

I’ve heard lots of great things about the work of Sean Michael. Well, I had to find out for myself. I am so glad I did. This might be labled a Torquere Sip book, but man, this is so much more than a simple taste.

The writing flows well. Granted it’s a short story, but I didn’t want to put it down and sat clutching my reader until I was done because I simply had to know what would happen next. There are parts of the story that sizzle the edges of the page and others that left with a sastifying awww feeling.

I want to mention the characters as well; the story wouldn’t be great without them. Isaak is someone readers can relate to, even if we aren’t in his position–and those positions…phew! But like peeling back the petals of a delicate flower, seeing the layers to Car’s personality as the pages of the book passed was great. Just what the story needed. There’s heat, absolutely, but in that heat there’s a healthy dose of heart. I rooted for this story to work out to a HEA. I’m glad got to read it.

The worst thing in the world isn’t being gay. Not even close. It’s not even being a werewolf. The worst thing in the world is being in love with your roommate and having that love be unrequited. No matter what Steve does, Rick just isn’t responding. Will he give up too soon on making Rick his mate?

When two lone wolves end up living together, chemistry and fur is sure to fly. In Coming Out Wolf we get a snippet of what is the start of a beautiful relationship.

I really enjoyed the idea of pairing a made wolf and a born wolf as roommates. Both are gay so there is common ground between them but beyond that their polar opposites. Steve is the more flamboyant gay man whereas Rick the laid back take life as it comes kind of guy. Rick has been a wolf all his life and his go with the flow attitude holds him back from confessing to Steve that he likes him in more than a roommate type of way.

The conflict hits its peak when Steve forces Ricks hand in admitting his interest in him. From there these two steam up the pages with their need to be together. I liked how the author had the men reverse roles when they got sexually involved. Steve became the submissive one and Rick became the aggressor.

My only wish was for it to have been longer so I could have seen where this duo went beyond discovering their true feelings for one another. The pair never had full on sex but the author’s descriptive writing was solid and held my attention to the very end. Sometimes it’s nice to read a story where the main characters aren’t jumping straight into bed together, it makes the story more believable on the relationship aspect.

This story was short and sweet. A good book to read when you don’t have a lot of time and need a daily fix of werewolves and romance.

Between undercover assignments and startling revelations, Cooper and Alec don’t know if their fragile relationship can survive. Can they solve the case and find a way to be together? A Promise Given is the sequel to the popular novel A Promise Kept.

Stormy Glenn is an absolute genius when it comes to writing tantalizing, sexy, erotic m/m stories. A Promise Given is a fast-paced, action packed story that will have you guessing right up to the very end. I literally couldn’t put the book down and read it all in one sitting because the twists that Ms. Glenn throws at you with the turn of every page are guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat wondering who’s behind all of the murders. Is it Watson or is it someone else?

Although I haven’t read the first story in the series, A Promise Kept, which I intend to quickly rectify, the plot of the story is easy to follow. In fact, the words seemed to flow from the page. I love how Ms. Glenn continuously provides the reader, who hasn’t read the first book, insight into what happened in the past with Mason, Cooper, Ben, and the serial killer who tortured them, Watson. You can’t help but fall in love with all of the characters and even though the primary focus is on Cooper and Alec, the secondary characters are just as loveable. I also enjoyed how they genuinely care about what happens to one other, which is obvious in the way Ms. Glenn structures the story.

The fears Cooper and Alec both exhibit as well as the hardships that they have endured in the present and the past are both realistic, and somewhat endearing, when you focus on the sacrifices that Alec is willing to make in order to keep Cooper safe. The sexual tension emanating between Alec and Cooper is explosive when they give into their primitive desires. Moreover, I loved how she allowed the reader into each of the characters’ head so that we not only understood their thought processes, but also how their fears and desires affected the decisions that they made. Ms. Glenn does an excellent job of providing the reader with a better understanding of the BDSM world and it’s obvious that she’s done her homework.

If you’re looking for a heartfelt, suspenseful, sensual story that entails love, loss, fate, trust, and most of all, forgiveness, then A Promise Given is definitely the book to read. Oh, did I forget to mention the scorching hot sex? Yeah, that’s definitely in there and I would definitely recommend A Promise Given to my friends. You have a gift, but you can’t fully use it. You have a lover, but you can’t admit it freely. What do you do? If you’re Endicott Rex: King of Wands, you have a couple of big problems.

The premise of this story is interesting. Two people who are lovers have to learn to work together and keep the relationship alive despite turmoil that neither can control.
