I like this world, and the interaction between the main characters. There is a past with Sonja, and it is portrayed in bits and pieces through these two people’s memories. I love this series, and enjoy the search for the elusive talent needed to replace the irreplaceable Nick Blackthorne.

Levi Levistan and Corbin Smith are a committed couple, in the midst of the single most devastating period in their relationship. They had looked forward to the birth of their daughter via a surrogate, and when the senseless accident took both the child and her mother from them, each man reacted differently. Corbin grieved openly, and needed to share his grief with Levi, while Levi buried his grief and pain deep inside himself. I like that, although Corbin left, he realized that he still loved Levi, and needed to find a way to get through to Levi and help him heal. I love that he felt secure enough with Levi to accept and welcome Sonja into their lives, their homes, and finally, into their hearts.

Sonja ‘Sonny’ Stone is strong, determined and unflappable. She has to be in her career as an editor of erotic romances, but even she is shaken a bit by Corbin’s suggestion. I like that she shares a past with Levi, and knows and understands how he handles pain and stress in his life, and I liked seeing how she reacted to both Levi and Corbin. She has such an open and adventurous nature, and she fills the place inside both men that neither knew was there.

This is a poignant and touching story, one of pain and loss and starting anew. There are some sad moments, but there are many joyous ones as well, and when disaster strikes, Levi and Corbin are able to face it together and make sure Sonny stays right where she belongs…between these two attentive and loving men. This one is for those who like their romance unconventional and hot…and I do mean hot! I’m looking forward to seeing how the search for Nick’s replacement works out, and I recommend this series in its entirety to those who like lots of screaming hot romance with a peek inside the life of a band.

A hard won happy ever after is the reward for reading Photograph and it’s worth experiencing Tara’s growing pains. It’s not often a heroine is the one having to navigate territory that usually is a male’s purview.

Ms. Davenport had quite the challenge facing her when dealing with Tara. A reader is first introduced to the heroine when she is at her most uptight, obsessive, illogical, controlling and nasty as well as stubborn beyond belief. In short, she’s not likeable. Her internal dialogue gives a reader a clear indication of her obsession. It’s not healthy. Who can reach a person that mentally closed off?

Her sister, Azure. I loved the name Azure; it’s so pretty. Tara’s sister is the one who orchestrates an unusual scenario that forces their issues to break open. It’s clever, elaborate and effective. It’s not without its downside but I admit to being pleasantly surprised at one of the twists. In fact, once one of the dramatic and suspenseful incidents happened, the book exhibited a tighter handling of plot focus and intensity. It’s when this book started to shine and I found myself completely engaged and totally enjoying myself.

The style of writing in the first half of the novel is split between Tara’s point of view and Azure’s POV. A reader gets to understand why Azure pushes so hard and what demons plague Tara. In the early stages of the plot, the head hopping hurt my brain. The little snippets of going back in time to relive some moments that lead up the current situation between the two sisters, although commendable in their inclusion, made me want to facepalm – it broke up the flow of the story and it didn’t work for me.

One thing the head hopping and switches of POV accomplished was to help me understand that Tara’s imagination created a picture of a person that had no bearing on reality. The object of her obsession was revealed through Azure as being a person totally and completely unsuited to Tara’s personality, yet that person fits Azure like a glove. And that is also where I saw the slow change and dawning awareness in Tara that nothing was as she believed. She couldn’t handle it so she did what guys normally do which is another clue to her personality. After that moment, the crack in Tara’s shield started to spread and I got to see some amazing shifts as told through internal dialogue and the heroine’s own actions. And readers need to pay attention to her choice of words, they’re very telling. Once that started happening, I was able to see the evidence as to why Azure did not want to give up on Tara, why she pushed so hard and I started to see glimpses of what made their relationship so special before it all went to pot. Tara is redeemable and worth saving.

As for the sex, readers will get their fix. It doesn’t happen only for Tara, Azure gets some too. And believe it or not, sex is important in this tale which was a pleasant surprise. I’m serious too. Usually sex is about titillation or a celebration of a couple coming together in a romance. In Photograph sex is a barometer of emotion and discovery and a key component to Tara’s redemption and I truly got the biggest kick out of that. Way cool.

Initially, Photograph is a hard book to get into because of Tara’s personality and some of the issues I mentioned above. Stick with it because it’s so very worth it. The heroine’s character growth is significant and powerful, the drama and excitement that the author infused at certain key points in the story were well written and gripping and set fire to the plot movement. The growing attraction between Ryan and Tara was a complex love dance that ultimately culminated in a soon to be HEA. I won’t clarify that statement; a reader will have to find out for one’s self. The intimate encounters were varied and always well placed, not to mention delightfully hot. The happily ever after is intricate and substantial and it tied up some loose ends making it a wonderful way to end the story. It’s not a fairy tale ending; it’s the perfect ending for both Tara and Azure. If readers like character driven plots then this book fits the bill. If readers like challenging and strong female protagonists, then this is the novel to choose. Photograph has a lot to offer; pick up your own copy and see for yourself.

This book has a good story line and a decent length, not too much that bogged me down. There wasn’t a lot of back story on either character, but I was still be able to get the feel for Tanner and Natalie.

As naive in the ways of men as Natalie is, she is rather accepting of new experiences. I’ll be interested to see if she loses any of herself. For Tanner, the need to control is what drives him and its how he was conditioned. His controlling way is how he was raised. Add a very independent young woman with not a lot of world experience with a slightly older man of the world and you have sparks. Even with the dire warning that Tanner kept sharing with Natalie, will they still take a stab at a relationship?

I just loved their first date because it was so unbelievably sweet. For all the hopeless romantics out there, that scene will be a definite “aww” factor. There wasn’t too much BDSM in it. The bondage was hinted to in the introduction where needs, pleasure, and limits were discussed, but nothing to definite. There wasn’t a lot of sex, but the scenes where well written. I very much enjoyed this book and will look to reading the next in the series. I’d recommend it and hope you enjoy.

The scenes were both hot and I could tell the writer didn’t just put words down. This is book three so for readers who jump into the middle of the series, a bit of Grisha’s reasons why he is like he is might be missed. But it really didn’t take from the actual story, so it may be able to be read as a stand alone.

I picked up this book, because of the fire play, which turned out to only be a small scene but the content of the story made up for the small bit of fire. Readers who look for some variety in their BDSM but also want the love and erotic romance should give this novella a try.

This is the third book in the series, so not quite a stand alone, but if you have read the secondary characters’ back stories, then a few scenes in this one will make more sense. I haven’t read books 1 and 2, yet I still could make sense of the story line and loved it. I was all for the twins taking Cassie as their sub, however a few times my hand itched to strangle the twins. Other readers might even want to strangle Cassie a time or two, but that irritation was offset by the author engaging my feelings for Cassie.

Luc, Logan and Cassie had me huffing, puffing and lapsing into giggles – all good things. Their Temporary Sub was a very enjoyable read and I’d recommend it.

Sigh. I have a book hangover and it’s all Cherise Sinclair’s fault. For me, Edge of the Enforcer was one of those novels that I just couldn’t put down.

When I opened my file, the first thing that caught my attention (besides the hot cover) was an author’s note: a personal word from Ms. Sinclair to her readers. It made my heart swell and made me feel cared for.

My amazement didn’t end there, however. As I stepped into the novel I fell hopelessly in love with the Enforcer and Lindsey. The Enforcer, Zander deVries, is a sadist Dom, direct, crude, a bit of a bastard at times and yet, he’s so, so alluring. It could be his rare smile, his huge heart, his bravery, or that he knows when to step up and apologize. Regardless of what exactly it is, all I know is that I was in love with him from page one.

With Lindsey on the other hand, I cried. My heart went out to her. She’s in big trouble and as the author reveals bits and pieces about her and took me on Lindsey’s journey I truly felt for her. The Texan woman was not only sweet, with a warm and caring personality, she was brave; she was fearless through her fear.

The secondary characters I also loved, though I have to admit that maybe at times I found them too amazing. I wish I had friends like those: dominant Doms eager to protect me and their wives/girlfriends that would be by my side no matter what.

I don’t want to unravel too much of the plot, but Edge of the Enforcer is not only an extremely hot love story, part of its charm is that it has a solid suspense sub-plot. Like I mentioned earlier, Ms. Sinclair drew me into the story progressively, until I found that I couldn’t put the book down without my thoughts automatically turning back to Zander and Lindsey. Furthermore, the author describes beautifully. I was right there with the characters more than once: from dancing on the dance floor, to lying still under Zander’s command, to agonizing over certain matters.

Edge of the Enforcer is 334 pages but if you’re like me, you’ll zip through them and crave for more. A fantastic read that I will be re-reading again, no doubt.

Whipping up the right amount of chemistry in a short story isn’t easy, but Ms. Starke makes it look effortless. Kim and Ava’s longing for one another felt as real as their occasionally sensitive reactions to their memories of the big breakup. I don’t know if the author intends to revisit these characters, but I’d be interested in hearing from them again in the future if she does.

The dialogue sometimes veered into awkward turns of phrases and sentences that explained things in a little bit too much detail. These characters have known each other for so long that they could have gotten away with a lot less verbal communication as their sex scenes heated up. Giving them more opportunities to give nonverbal consent would have also made more sense given everything that’s revealed about the relationship they once had with one another.

As mentioned in the blurb, this short story is part of a series. It can easily be read out of order or as a standalone piece since each instalment focuses on a different couple and the brief backstory is quickly explained in the opening scene. I do recommend checking out the rest of the Click Me tales if you enjoy this one, though, as there are certain similarities among them that are interesting to pick out.

Play Date is a good choice for anyone in the mood for something hot and heavy that can be finished in one sitting.

I found this to be a really fun, well written story. I loved how the author gave both Kelly and Ben time to get to know each other a bit before jumping into bed, but kept their chemistry sizzling hot enough that the progression to intimacy didn’t feel rushed or fake. I thought it was a bit overt in the introduction of the other Wilde brothers, but good PR on the authors part. The brothers are rambunctious and interesting and will certainly draw more readers into getting their hands of future books in my opinion.

Equal parts sweet and sensual, I found this to be a lighthearted romance with plenty of scorching sex. This is a great read for those who like their erotica fun and sexy at the same time. I also appreciated how Chase didn’t mysteriously disappear from the story the moment Ben and Kelly hooked up. All too often cute pets/companions are left to linger in limbo once the action starts. Chase is clearly a working police dog, but also an equally important companion in Ben’s home life as well. The only down side I felt was that the conflict (a fight between Ben and Kelly and the following consequences) seemed a little too simple – too clichéd in how it comes about and too easily resolved to take it seriously. I feel if there was a stronger conflict – something fresher or different – this would have been a much stronger book. But this didn’t detract from my enjoyment of it, just made me a bit disappointed and took what could have been a well-rounded, excellent book down into being just a really good one.

For a fun, lighthearted, sexy romance this is a good book from an author I plan to keep an eye out for. With good pacing, interesting characters and great sex scenes this ticks a number of boxes for my reading tastes. Recommended.

Ooh, I loved this one! Jenika Snow did it again with this amazing love story. Heck, I was already half gone for Dallas, but then the author hooked me completely with a romantic beginning that I will never forget.

Dallas had been suffering from guilt and regret for a while now. It was a darkness on his soul that was beginning to overtake him. Not even his Grizzly Brothers could reach him since he’d been hiding the pain from everyone except Diesel. So picture this : He was lost and alone, standing out in the rain contemplating who knows what, when Hope, the mate he thought he didn’t deserve comes driving by. That moment was so poignant to the story, cause he looks right at her as she comes into his life. I was just gushing all over the place, I tell you. Then the story line really picks up later on when Dallas saves Hope from a redneck bully.

The thing I liked most about this one was the romantic element. Their first meeting, the rescue, the sizzling connection and how close they became. This author never disappoints in that department, but I felt this one was something special. They each had their own pain and sadness that would always be with them. But they had each other to make it easier. To me that’s why they were so perfect for each other. The author made me believe that their relationship was real.

This was the perfect book for me. The writing style was fluid and the story flowed with ease. The dialogue was naughty, with sex scenes that were on the steamy side, just the way I like it. It had everything, really. It’s a gritty MC romance. It’s a shifter romance. It has awesome characters with a captivating love story. Dallas was a real bad-ass biker with regret for the bad things he’s done. He found Hope right when he needed her, cause things weren’t looking too good for him until she came along.

I love this series. I really loved this book. Lastly, I can’t wait for the next book.

This is an intense read, highly erotic and probably not for every readers tastes. The relationship between Logan and Ryan is strong, and the connection with Cassidy despite the short time is also very strong. There are a few scenes that might be triggers for some readers, spanking (and lashing using a belt) and bondage. Personally, I found them tastefully written and enticing, but they aren’t tame and might not suit other readers. I really enjoyed the bond between the three men and even though Logan’s secret from Ryan was a little unrealistic (who can hide such a thing for years from someone they’re so close to otherwise?) it certainly progressed the story and added some delicious conflict to the scenes. I also really appreciated how Logan wasn’t some weak, spineless submissive. This added complexity really enriched the story for me and I found myself utterly captivated by the three men and their blossoming relationship.

All three characters are deep, complex and multi-layered. Best of all, the plot connecting them isn’t thin, but richly woven. For a short story, I felt this packed one hell of a punch. Deeply erotic, sexily kinky and with a plot of personal conflict, this is something I can strongly recommend to many of my friends and plan to do so. I’ve not heard of the author before but on the strength of this single story alone I totally plan to search out the rest of her works. If you like your kinky stories male dominated and complicated, this could well be a good one for you. Recommended.
