Wanting variety in your sexual lust? Then come to Lindsey Park Manor.

A weekend of BDSM activities for beginners. That was what James Shaw had booked at Lindsey Park Manor. He was now anxious about telling his wife, Caroline. In the past, they had tried out various implements at home, and were keen to take it further—even considering joining a ‘swingers’ site—but it was quite daunting doing anything with others! And then a shock awaits them on arrival in the form of James’ best friend.

As they progress through the various events—cropping in the stables, fellatio in the ballroom, and an unusual fox hunt—they have to deal with animosity, jealousy and the dropping of inhibitions, as all of them grow in their knowledge of a lifestyle which is exciting, yet challenging.

Just as the dynamics of their threesome change considerably, a further surprise awaits them at the end of the weekend.

James and Caroline’s marriage is definitely stable enough to include a bit of exploring and boy do they explore on their weekend retreat. The ultimate question is: where Mark will fit in, if at all.

I really liked James and Caroline from the beginning. It is clear to me they are both looking to spice things up and make their relationship stronger. They clearly care and love deeply for one another. Another aspect of these characters I appreciated was their vulnerability at times. Caroline in not knowing how she feels about the lifestyle and the things James wants to potentially explore. James who seems always the rock in the relationship, yet experiencing his own insecurities as they explore more about themselves both as individuals and as a couple. It make them more realistic and believable.

Mark is a character I did not learn too much about throughout the process. He clearly was a caring man who just wanted to find his place. I like that he is attracted to Caroline and respects his friend to allow him to set the pace and is just thankful for any involvement he is allowed. He is definitely someone I would have liked to have gotten to know a bit more.

The BDSM element in the story is something I appreciated. For the most part it was fairly accurate. It is a topic I am very familiar with and I only noticed one or two inconsistencies. For example, the author used the world flog in one scene when it was really a spanking not a flogging. Additionally, I think how the roles in the relationship were determined I would have like to have seen more of. For example it is clear by the end of the story Mark is more of a switch than a Dominant. It would have been interesting to see how he came to this conclusion. These are really minor things, and overall the average reader would probably no pick up on them. Compared too many other stories on BDSM this one is accurate as to the emotional development/discovery which I appreciate. It shows how important the decision is and that it is as much an emotional growth as it is a kink one.

I would certainly recommend this story to others, and I actually plan on doing so. Plus it has some interesting plot twists that really leave you wanting more in the end.

Is getting everything you want worth losing everything you have?

Abby Jackson is a frustrated housewife. Her husband pays more attention to his Xbox than to her. She fills her days with erotica novels, wishing her husband would listen to her desperate pleas for more excitement in their sex lives, but he wants nothing to do with her wild fantasies.

When Abby goes out for her weekly girl’s night with her best friend Kelly, they enjoy a dangerous game of truth or dare that leads Abby to a controlling stranger who takes a shot of vodka from her breasts. The night rattles her to her core, and keeps Mr. Dark and Handsome in her mind for days after.

Therefore cialis generic india it is available at cheaper rates than the original medication.
Just as she returns to her boring, routine life, she gets a mysterious text message from an unknown number to come spend the night exploring her most secret desires. She knows she shouldn’t go, but how can she not? Arriving at the hotel and unsure what will happen, Abby finds a box with a skimpy panty set, a blindfold, and a riding crop inside. There are also instructions to wear only what the box contains and to be ready for when the stranger arrives. Abby’s first lesson in the Dominate/submissive world has just begun. The only frightening thing is how much she gets off on it. But will it fulfill her secret fantasies…or endanger everything she has?

Ladies night out has never been so hot…

When Abby goes out for her girl’s night at a local bar, things go from hot to bothered in moments. Her friend dares her into a naughty drinking game and she has to decide whether or not to accept. The man in question is a tall, dark and handsome stranger sitting at the bar. The mission? Drink a shot from between her well-endowed chest. What Abby decides next will land her from the frying pan and into an inferno of temptation and desire. Abby goes home to her husband but can’t stop thinking about the sexy stranger. When events transpire giving her a chance to meet him again she has a choice to make.

This book is hot, hot, hot. The interaction between Abby and the sexy stranger is a scorcher and there is a certain mix of trepidation due to the fact she is married. You don’t usually find married women in romance novels where they go off with another man while they are married but in this case it serves to act as a page turner. There are some interesting developments toward the end of the story and I can’t decide if I wanted it to go that way or just outright have her do something different. (I can’t say more or I’ll spoil it for you!)

The dialog, the action, the characters all were well done and I wanted the story to go on and on. Especially certain parts, but I’ll leave it to you to figure out just what those parts might be. Abby is a woman on the cusp of realizing her wants include things that go beyond being a wife and mother. She wants a hint of naughty in her life and she is fast finding out just how to find it.

As a married woman, I could identify with the situation she finds herself in. Do the dare or not. Go the extra step or not. Go home to her husband or explore the needs that have found their way into her life. It’s a tricky little pickle but the author handles it very well.

If you’re looking for a short hot read this summer, then you have to give this book a try. Just remember to have a glass of ice water nearby for the heat wave that’s coming.

But Zara has no intention of embracing captivity. While she’s willing to exchange blood for blood, maybe even play a kinky game or two with the handsome vampire dominant, he’s still the enemy. She can’t allow herself to see him as anything more.

Then Rand’s enemies make things a lot more complicated…

I give high marks for the stunningly imaginative sex scene that Ms. Knight created in Armored Hearts. Because this is science fiction, the author was able to let her imagination run wild and what she came up with was sexy, titillating, exciting and completely unique. If I could have an experience like that just once, I’m pretty sure I’d probably end up speaking gibberish because the afterglow would be so overwhelming, if I could speak at all. The description was mind blowing. The story is really good but this scene is the brightest gem in the treasure chest.

Zara and Rand are on opposite sides of a conflict. The author created the sense of otherworldliness by word usage and references to objects that are common place to her characters but are pure science fiction fantasy and it was a lot of fun seeing what Ms. Knight came up with. Yet, the war that Zara is fighting in and the villains she’s fighting against parallel our own earthly struggles. It was easy to connect and relate to the heroine’s devotion to fight. Rand, on the other hand, isn’t on the villain’s side because he believes in the cause, but because he’s a paid fighter. He has a brain and a stronger moral fiber than the minions around him. As such, the hero comes to the decision that money isn’t everything. Sometimes a person has to take a stand against injustice and vicious tyranny but it becomes even easier when you have something beyond yourself to fight for. In this case, love. Tara’s ‘it’ for him, but they’re surrounded by the bad guys, so how is he going to get them both out alive? The hero has a plan. That was fun reading.

Except for a few missing word blips in the editing, this short story is flawless. Ms. Knight manages to give a reader a meaty plot, a noble cause, exciting shoot ‘em ups and examples of vampire fighting prowess. The author also gives erotic romance readers plenty of eroticism to enjoy and be entertained by, and they were placed within the story where they played a role in developing the relationship between Rand and Zara. Whenever I read a book written by Ms. Knight, I am always satisfied on so many levels. She gives her characters heart, she gives readers a reason to care, and love is always the greatest reward.

If a reader is seeking a short story that has the taste and feel of a full novel, but takes a fraction of the time to read and enjoy, then pick up a copy of Armored Hearts. It’s a sure pleaser.

SWAT officer, Cole, can handle just about anything, until he rescues Brett—a man who makes him question all he’s ever believed about love.

As a member of the Las Vegas Police Department’s SWAT team, Cole has seen his fair share of danger, but he’s never taken a chance on love. He’s willing to have some fun when the mood strikes him, but he’s married to the job. Called in on a hostage situation, Cole is prepared for anything and everything…except for the brave and beautiful Brett.

Brett has been burned before, most recently by Officer Parker McLean. He’s hoping to settle down in Vegas, perhaps find someone he can build a life with. The last thing Brett’s looking for is another man in uniform. But when he meets Cole, there’s an attraction that can’t be denied. Still, he hadn’t expected to fall for the chiseled alpha.

What begins as nothing more than two people experiencing a great night together spirals into something far deeper. But will Brett be able to handle the stress that comes with having a lover who constantly puts his life in jeopardy? And can Cole risk his heart on an everyday hero, or will the job he knows so well remain his top priority?

As a member of the SWAT team for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Cole Silva has seen and done it all. He’s taken chances and risked everything – everything, that is, but his heart. So when he’s called to a hostage situation at the Fashion Show Mall on the Las Vegas Strip, he winds up with more than he bargained for in the form of Brett Langevin. Cole knows he can save Brett, but can he save himself from Brett’s charms?

Having remembered Brett from his brief appearance in Copping an Attitude, I was looking forward to getting to know him better. Parker, from book two, had liked Brett, but not enough to have had a committed relationship with him, and that always intrigues me. As it turns out, he’s probably the most normal, stable heroes in any of the Sin City Uniform books so far. Now, that’s not a bad thing either. I love a good boy-next-door sort of guy, especially when he’s paired with someone as unconventional as Cole. By the end of the book it was official – Brett is my favorite guy out of all the previous books to date. His character moves from indecisive and eager to please (even at the expense of his own happiness) to someone willing to make his own choices and mistakes. It was an experience watching him grow comfortable in his own skin.

Cole, on the other hand, I wasn’t so familiar with. It was mentioned that he appeared in the previous book, Justice Prevails, but I don’t remember him. His role was small, but the author is really good at introducing someone in an earlier book and bringing them around for their own story later, which is really what makes this series so addicting to me. Just when you think you’ve met everyone, there’s always someone else sneaking in the side door. Cole is definitely a harder, more difficult character to get to know. Ex-military as well as a current member of SWAT, he’s intense, focused, and pretty closed off emotionally. Because of this, he ticks me off a few times during the course of the story, but not enough to make me stop reading. His actions are expected to a point, but still ruffled my feathers a bit. Mostly because I was already partial to Brett in a lot of ways.

Held Hostage is, for me, the best book in this series to date. There are a couple of problematic areas, like the lack of actual help for Brett after he was held hostage, but within the confines of a short novella, I know that things do sometimes get left on the cutting board. That said the hostage situation itself is well done and intensely written, really drawing you in and holding your attention. I felt like there were moments where Cole was a jerk for no reason, but in retrospect, those times actually forced Brett to push past his insecurities and have necessary character growth. With each installment getting better and better, I’m anxious to see what Ms. Knight has in store for us with the next in this series.

The Donnellys, Book 1

Ryan Donnelly’s past relationship may have failed, but he’s determined to make single fatherhood and his career a resounding success. He’s got his eye on the top of the ladder at an L.A. marketing firm when his gaze snags on co-worker Maiya Rossini.

Her future dreams are big, bright and packed with full-throttle fun, but when it comes to matters of the heart and men—especially stuffy corporate types like Ryan—her past slams on the emotional brakes.

In the office and in the bedroom, Maiya and Ryan rub each other in all the right ways. Though Maiya is everything Ryan didn’t know he wanted, he’s got his work cut out for him convincing her she’s worthy of love—or the bright light she’s brought to his life could slip through his fingers.

This book was a wonderful surprise! I chose it to read and then got so caught up in summertime activities that I forgot about having it on my Kindle. Then came the rainy day that I discovered it and began reading right then and there…and couldn’t put it down until the end.

This story was simply a pleasure to read. The author’s writing style was fluid and I was easily swept away by the sheer romanticism of the plot. Ryan and Maiya hooked up at work and scorched up the sheets in the bedroom, but their relationship was complicated. They came from different worlds and had a lot of difficult emotional baggage. Ryan was occupied with business, family and being a single dad to his son. Maiya had worked hard to make it better life for herself. She had a very brash exterior that she used to cover a painful past; while inside she was emotionally fragile. The wonderful thing about this book was the amazing chemistry between these two totally opposite people and how they took a chance on being disappointed for the chance at love. Isn’t that what true romance is, after all ? I will tell you that it’s what I look for in a romance novel.

This book was a fun sexy read. The plot was original and enlivened by the engaging banter between Ryan and Maiya. I enjoyed the laughter and the way the author kept me smiling even when I got frustrated by how Maiya continued to push Ryan away. It got emotional at times, as there were a few really gutwrenching moments for Maiya. Then there were the sexy times, and may I just say that this book is plenty hot. It had a lot of love scenes and they were incendiary.

Unworthy Heart begins The Donnellys Series ….. so there is definitely more hotness to come. It’s an entertaining book that kept me interested the entire way through and had me wanting more. So I’ll be checking out the next book for sure …

Can the League’s most wicked rakehell be tamed? Or has this Rogue fallen too far?

The League of Rogues, Book 2

Horatia Sheridan has been hopelessly in love with Lucien, her brother’s best friend, ever since he rescued her from the broken remains of her parents’ wrecked carriage. His reputation as London’s most notorious rakehell doesn’t frighten her, for under his veneer of cool authority she has glimpsed a man whose wicked desires inspire her own.

His one secret: he is torn between soul-ripping lust for Horatia, and the loyalty he owes her brother.

That loyalty is put to the test when an old enemy of the League threatens Horatia’s life. With Christmas drawing near, he sweeps her away to his country estate, where he can’t resist granting her one wish—to share his bed and his heart.

But sinister forces are lurking, awaiting the perfect moment to exact their revenge by destroying not only whatever happiness Lucien might find in Horatia’s arms, but the lives of those they love.

The heart wants what the heart wants. Horatia has been in love with Lucien from the moment he played hero to her young heart. Now she’s a woman on a mission to convince him that they have a love worth facing the League’s most treasured second rule over. If her brother doesn’t kill him first.

There’s something about a good regency romance that draws me into the time period wishing to attend a beautiful ball or a holiday house party. Ms. Smith painted the London city streets and the bawdy entertainment district with such clarity. I could picture myself in the elaborate homes as well as the dark pleasure gardens.

I loved the spirit and tenacity Horatia shows in her pursuit of Lucien. He’s downright mean to her sometimes but it’s clear he’s fighting his own attraction. He doesn’t think he’s worthy of someone so pure. Luckily for him, Horatia doesn’t have the same hangup and she has no problem taking charge. Actually, one my very favorite scenes in the book is when Horatia truly takes charge. Hot, steamy goodness.

There’s a bit of intrigue in this book that likely originated in the first book in the series. A very bad man has it out for the gentlemen of the League and he’s intent on revenge. This man has no boundaries when it comes to evilness. His plan really starts playing out towards the end of the book and there’s a situation that had me a little perplexed. Without giving away major plot lines, Lucien is hurt and Horatia and her brother, Cedric, are in danger. There’s a lot going on in the scene but at one point, after she’d just been rescued by Lucien from a burning cottage, he goes back in to find Cedric. She comes barreling back in to rescue them both. There are a lot of characters available in this section, many grown men including Lucien’s brothers, who could have been a part of the rescue. It didn’t make sense that she would be the one to go back in after having just been brought out unconscious. Because of the way men during this time period tended to shelter and protect their women, it felt out of character for her to be in that position.

Truly, it’s a short scene compared to the rest of the book. What happens after the fire pulled me right back into the story and held me to the end. It also has me anticipating the next book. I have to know how it all plays out. Especially for Cedric.

Readers who enjoy the regency era stories with some a dash of spice and intrigue will find lots to enjoy in this novel. Personally, I’m going back to read the first book, Wicked Designs, to see how Emily and Godric found their HEA. If it’s as tension filled and exciting as His Wicked Seduction, it’s going to be another good read.

Bridget and Joe seem to have a magnetic pull towards each other, and it has nothing to do with the fact that she is a witch and he is a vampire. Hopefully, they can still manage to get some work done, since their lives may depend on it.

Bridget is a strong and capable women which is clear to me from the beginning. She has her things together, and has avoided Joe cause he can distract her in ways no man ever could. I absolutely adore this inner strength of hers, and so does Joe. This latest job however leaves her spinning in more ways than one, and she needs to keep it together if she wants to protect herself and the ones she love.

Joe comes off as your typical cocky vampire, yet there is more than what meets the eye with him. He seems to really have soft spot for Bridget which I like. I would have loved to have seen a bit more of a protective vampire instinct in him however. He clearly cares for those around him, and as the leader in the vampire community for that area I just felt he should have been more furious. He certainly seemed to have the ability to take control of Bridget in the bedroom, and care for her once they were done which left me smiling.

All-in-all I enjoyed the story. The plotline keep the story going. I did not even realize it was as long as it was, since it read so easily. I would definitely recommend it to someone, especially if the witch and vampire relationship intrigues you the way it did me. Not often you see these two unlikely creatures to get involved with each other which I appreciated. Add to it the antagonistic conflict and you got yourself a winner. I look forward to reaching a future installment of the Flush and Fevered Series.

Meet the McGilley Brothers who like their sex kinky and on their terms, but try to do the right thing by turning down the women brave enough to take them on. Women who refuse to take no for an answer.

The story is a very cleverly written in the way that it tells the love story of the three brothers all in a single book. It took some time for the main plot to really develop but then it takes center stage in the third brother, Donovan’s, story. This trilogy had a little bit of a suspense feel to it but not enough to be categorized as one.

All three brothers are different in style and what they like, though their love for horses is one thing that is common between them. Each brothers has their own conflict to resolve within the book.

Brett is attracted to a woman half his age. But with a failed marriage under his belt he does not want subject an ‘innocent’ to his brand of kink or sex. However, Kayla is not willing to take no for an answer.

Colin is a Dom who is in love with his departed best friend’s wife who happens to be be a submissive. After years mourning for her husband and Dom she wants to get back into the scene. She wants a Dom. But not just any Dom, she wants Colin. But Colin has guilt that could break apart their relationship and Olivia as well. Colin’s relationship with Olivia was at first complicated to understand. His guilt over something that happened was understandable but it conflicted with his desire for Olivia. It was obvious early on to this reader how he truly felt about Olivia, even though she couldn’t see it. Not at first. It was wonderful to see their relationship evolve from acquaintances to lovers

When Donovan meets red-headed vet Anna, he knows that Anna has suffered abuse. He also feels something for her that he thought he never could. Together they learn to live and love. It was enlightening to see Donovan help Anna get over the abuse. Their relationship was fiery from the first scene. Donovan likes a lot harder sex than what a lot of females are willing to give. But in Anna he finds compatible in every possible way imaginable.

All three of these couples are so different but their chemistry was hot and spicy readers who enjoy a little more hardcore erotic romance should definitely give The McGilley Trilogy a read.

Chasing Tara has a good premise about a mom and her toddler running away from a creepy bad guy and a hero swoops in to rescue them. It’s the idea of heroic action that drew me to this story.

Ms. Rachels delivered on the saving part. Tara needed help and she was a smart and savvy woman who knew it. I appreciated the fact the heroine actually did have a solid and believable plan and it would have worked. The clinker in her plan was fate and the spirit of Mother Bear. Turns out Tara needed to be a heroine; she needed to save someone too – the hero, Jason.

I met Mother Bear in Lisa’s Bear, the first book in the series. It turns out that there is a lot of paranormal mysticism that guides the romances in this series. In this book I learned a little bit of where they originated from and what the goal is as far as Mother Bear is concerned. It’s quite fascinating. That being said, Chasing Tara is definitely a standalone read.

The dialogue, plot, action, characters and environment were well done, engrossing and entertaining. I really enjoyed reading this story but I wasn’t too impressed with some of the editing, especially when at one point the editor goofed and missed the name swap – the story is about Tara, not Tina. Tina was a skank from the last book. And instead of writing bear cub, it had cube. I laughed at that. So, just be aware there are a few glitches but Chasing Tara is still worth reading because it’s fun to watch how Jason messes up with his fast courtship of Tara. He’s such a bear.

Another thing that made my brain itch was Tara’s decision in dealing with the detestable, disgusting bad guy. Jason was warned but he just didn’t get it. I think he was slow on the uptake a couple of times but he’s not a mind reader so I guess being fallible is more realistic. He’s a hero but he’s not Superman. And, even though I wasn’t crazy about Tara’s actions, the author actually addressed that in the book and convincingly justified the events that occurred. I may personally not like those kinds of plot scenarios but I bow to the reasoning, especially since it led to a satisfying happy ever after.

Chasing Tara has some wonderfully tender moments between Tara’s daughter, Haley, and her soon-to-be stepson, Ben. They were some of the sweetest interactions in the story. The spice and heat that an erotic romance promises is more than met with scenes between Tara and Jason. The author provided plenty of fun for readers. On the whole, this was an enjoyable and quick read and I found it just the right size to indulge in before bedtime. I’m glad I read it.
