Wow! The author had such a great set-up for this plot. Jessica is starting over after the worst betrayal ever. Luck is with her though as she hooks up with two hot cowboys. Of course the author threw in some suspense and angst filled drama to keep things interesting. Her sexy cowboys, Garrett and Seth, are wary of the relationship because of a bad relationship from their past. Then trouble follows Jessica to town. Her smarmy ex shows up looking to cause all kinds of trouble.

First of all, I liked the characters in this book. Jessica was the kind of heroine that I enjoy reading about. She’s strong and smart and knows how to take care of herself. Instead of waiting for someone to save her she went ahead and did it for herself. Also, she was a plucky gal who wasn’t shy about propositioning a cowboy wearing big boots, if you know what I mean. She was new to the menage lifestyle, yet she was game to try it and even initiated the game. So I really liked her and that helped me to enjoy the story even more. Then there were the guys and I liked them both. I felt that Garrett was more sexy but if I had to choose just one it would have to be Seth.

This scorching hot book had a good plot and the writing was pretty much flawless. It had a good suspense to keep things interesting in between plenty of steamy love scenes. Only making it better is that I realized this book is part of an already ongoing series. It’s the fifth book in the Montana Double Riders Series. That is a series that I’ve somehow missed until finding this book. Oh well, I look forward to catching up…

I enjoyed every single page of this sexy menage story.

At this point, I’ve just given up deciding on which book in this series is my favorite. Ms. Prater has once again surpassed my expectations. I immediately fell in love with both Tana and Lucien. In previous stories, Lucien made limited appearances and always seemed to loom in the background as this strong, untouchable figure that had a name, but not an overabundance of character, which made sense as it wasn’t quite his time. Here, he’s the star and boy, what a powerful one he is. While he’s certainly older than the main characters of previous installments—he’s the father of one, in fact—I finally got to see the youth in him. Suddenly, I removed him from the category of being “older” and placed him in the arena of the other Insedi males whose very presence commanded my attention because on their physiques, their emotions, and their alpha temperaments, and not simply because of their political status. Quite simply put, I fell in love. Again. I believe that if Ms. Prater were to come to me and offer me any one of her Insedi men, I’d have a near impossible time choosing. But it’s not just their gorgeous bodies that have me swooning, I think it’s the deep-rooted need and determination to protect their women. Call me a bit old-fashioned, but I yearn for a guy to make me feel like the most precious gem on the planet. Having him crave my body with insatiable desire doesn’t sound too bad either. Put them together and you just don’t get any more perfect than that. I’m afraid Ms. Prater has ruined me for the common man. While I don’t expect I’d find someone who can mist or live for hundreds of years—never say never—surely there’s a few guys out there who might come close to the perfectness of the Insedi male.

Book one caught my attention, book two had me hooked and asking for more, book three caused my addiction, and book four fed my habit. Now I’m left sitting here hoping for more, like a junkie strung out on alien men. Once again, Ms. Prater, I believe you have a few stories left to write. Leaving any of these mouth-drooling guys without a mate just seems downright wrong. And if you’re in need of a willing female, I’m your gal.

Sadly, I’ve reached the end of a story about one of Ms. Celeste Prater’s wonderful Insedi men. I could probably come up with a fancy way to say how great it is and why everyone who loves a little science fiction with their warrior should read it, but when it comes down to it, quite simply put, I loved it. No ifs, ands, or buts. Ms. Prater has weaved a magical world with memorable characters and meaningful dilemmas and I’d like to thank her for being so spectacularly creative. Her stories have touched my heart from many different angles and I’m so grateful I’ve gotten to read them.

This is the third book in the series, so not quite a stand alone, but if you have read the secondary characters’ back stories, then a few scenes in this one will make more sense. I haven’t read books 1 and 2, yet I still could make sense of the story line and loved it. I was all for the twins taking Cassie as their sub, however a few times my hand itched to strangle the twins. Other readers might even want to strangle Cassie a time or two, but that irritation was offset by the author engaging my feelings for Cassie.

Luc, Logan and Cassie had me huffing, puffing and lapsing into giggles – all good things. Their Temporary Sub was a very enjoyable read and I’d recommend it.

Fueled by Lust: Cato, really touched a personal spot in me. Listening to the things Brian did to Luna, the things he said and the way he behaved brought back some bad memories of my own. I really connected with her because I knew her misery, I understood her fears, and I could comprehend her desperation to be free. Unless you’ve been in that sort of relationship, it’s very hard to describe how suffocating and crippling it is. At the same time, I cheered her bravery, held my breath when Brian discovered her, and applauded Cato’s persistence.

Ah Cato, if only there were more of you to go around. Unless I can find this secret vortex to his world, I’m afraid those men are only a myth. Book three of the Fueled by Lust series, this one certainly lives up to the standards of its predecessors. Ms. Celeste Prater has penned another mouth-watering, love-inspiring masterpiece. Once again, I found myself flying through the pages, lost in the characters, and so caught up in the imagery that I failed to notice any editing mistakes, point of view violations, or blatant errors. If they were there, my mind refused to acknowledge them. Like book two, she keeps the main characters in previous stories involved in the plot, while skillfully introducing new ones to enhance the tale.

I guess my only complaint is I need more stories to find out what happens next. There were a few loose ends so I’m hoping that’s Ms. Prater’s intent. If so, I will be first in line for the next installment. Um, Ms. Prater, I believe Maxim needs a mate. We certainly can’t forget about Kallon with his long blond hair. Caelius, Ulixes…in fact, I’d say you have several stories to write. I hope to see some more of Barney as well. I love them little Lemaroks, kind of remind me of my sugar gliders.

All joking aside, Fueled by Lust: Cato, proved to be yet another of Ms. Prater’s gems. I loved every bit, from beginning to end. I feel like Luna is a sister abuse survivor and Cato is a true hero any woman would love to have. Thank you for penning such a touching story. It will likely stay with me for a long while to come.

Though he likes his women with a little more padding, Severus can’t help the instant attraction he feels for the sassy spit-fire, wagging her finger in his face without an ounce of fear or hesitation. From the first page, my eyeballs remained glued to my iPad, my attention totally focused on the plot unfolding before me. I literally read the entire book in one day. I just couldn’t put it down. The characters are dynamic together, the perfect blend of alpha male and sassy female. There’s so much going on that you don’t even notice the plot twist sneaking up from the sidelines. I was left with my mouth hanging open at the climax of the story. The developing relationship between Cassie and Severus, the inclusion of previous characters from book one, and the introduction of new challenges to this sexy race of he-man aliens all culminate into a fantastic tale that left me wanting more. Lo and behold, after a little snooping on the internet, I see Ms. Prater has seen fit to grace us with an upcoming book 3! So now I’m left chomping at the bit and rubbing my little paws together in eager anticipation of what I expect to be another fabulous read.

Fueled by lust: Severus, is a non-stop hoot and a hell of an exciting story. Cassie’s snarky attitude had me laughing my buns off. I fell in love with her right from the start. And Severus is just too sexy for words. He certainly caused a spike in heart rate and gave me something new to dream about. Put them together and you’ve got another fantastic story by Celeste Prater whose hunky aliens are simply out of this world. Oh, and Ms. Prater, if you need a short blonde chic who loves bulging muscles and hairy chests to play the heroine in a fourth installment, I’ll gladly take the part.

The way he regarded her, both inside and out, spoke volumes about him as a man. Where others wanted to change her, he encouraged her to embrace the woman she was. He certainly never expected to find his mate, not after being hurt in the past. Even though he tries to deny what he feels, he never once treats her with disrespect or tries to take over her life. He might be an alien, but that doesn’t stop him from being a true gentleman.

Avelina is equally supportive. When she discovers the truth about what Drusus is and the whole purpose behind the Heat Seekers ruse, she doesn’t get angry or run away screaming with fright. She takes the news surprisingly well and quickly vows to help him with his plight. She’s strong, funny, and kept me laughing at her witty sense of humor. Unfortunately, there are others from his past who will do anything to destroy his hopes of a better future for his kind, even if it means killing Avelina. Just when their relationship begins to bloom, Drusus’ enemy swoops in and threatens to ruin it all. He’ll have to work through deception and unbeatable odds to save the woman he loves.

What else can I say? I really enjoyed Fueled by Lust: Drusus. Ms. Prater has penned an exciting, sexy, and passionate story the left me wanting more. I’m sure there’ll be many a reader who finds themselves wishing they had a Heat Seekers nearby. A girl can dream, after all. I even loved the secondary characters, especially Cassie and Severus. I could see that sassy little spitfire giving Severus a run for his money.

The author did a great job of painting the sordid backgrounds of the characters in this book. She was able to pique my curiosity for more information on the rest of the members in the back all the while driving home that even if you don’t want something, sometimes you need it.

Great read for those who root for the underdog and love a little angst with their men.

They had to convince their woman that she could count on them. They had to show Aubrey that they loved her enough to do that. It was great that the author never made it seem like Aubrey was perfect either. She had to make some changes too. She had to learn to have faith and let some things go. The story showed the characters self exploration and their realizations for the reader to say. So she didn’t just tell me these things. She showed them to me and that is what I liked about the book. It was exceptionally well developed.

Now let’s talk about the love scenes. Yeah. You know that you want to hear all about that. *Grin* The love scenes were excellent ! Some scenes are played out at Consensual, the BDSM club in town. You know what that means ! Our triad gets busy exploring with some very kinky toys and situations. I’ve read a few series like this one. I felt that this author did a fantastic job in the world building for her new series. She spun a good tale of romance and suspense, while introducing a lot of interesting characters in the story. I was intrigued as I’m sure that they will each have a story to tell. So this first book tells me the story of Aubrey, Riley and his brother Noah. They were an fascinating trio and I enjoyed reading about their journey.

I spent a few hours enjoying this book. Then I wanted more. I met so many interesting characters here. Now I really want to hear their stories. So I will be eagerly waiting for the next book to read. I would recommend this book. In fact, I already have raved to my friends who like the steamy romantic ones too. So I gave it my stamp of approval.

There is a nice plot with Laynee’s father trying to kill her and a background plot of sinister things happening with the wolf pack in the background which I think will have a bigger role in future books. It’s an enjoyable read, it’s a pretty typical shifter instant mate pairing, but I still found bits of it very entertaining, especially “seeing” the world through Laynee’s perspective.
