In between all that male goodness is Kelly with her curvy figure and girl-next-door personality, which I found to be very appealing heroine traits in this story.

There are a few abrupt scene changes that sort of impeded the overall flow of the story, but I still found the story well-written. Throughout, there is much talk of Kelly’s infamous “Intimidating Apple Pie”, which the guys just love to eat and use as foreplay, but even better is that the author included the recipe at the end of the story for reader’s to enjoy however they like as well. Great story, great characters, and great start to a new series. If you like ménage romance stories, you’ll enjoy this story!

The paranormal aspects were just a small part of this book.

Overall, I really enjoyed the story. It has strong male characters, both struggling for what they want, plus the extremely graphic love scenes had me glued to the very end. In the first few pages the author whets the reader’s appetite with an erotic little game of gay chicken and from there keeps the heat turned up on every encounter between Brandon and Derek. Dirty talk, toys, and wildly unadulterated sex between two consenting adults was highly entertaining. I would recommend reading the first in the series so you have that extra bit of background story. This was an enjoyable read and I look forward to more from the Gridiron Gods.

I will be on the lookout for more books by Lolita Lopez because this is definitely a book to put in the keeper pile for a reread in the future. There were two major obstacles they had to overcome within this story and the resolution to the second one took me by surprise. I knew something was bound to happen to help Tyler break away from the abusive family who raised him but the ending just shocked me to the core. The sacrifice Marcus made definitely made him a hero.

I wholeheartedly recommend Loving Tyler. It has a little bit of everything that makes it a page turner; drama, fear, and one erotic love scene after another. Tyler and Marcus grew together with every page turned and proved where there’s love anything is possible.

When Shane’s Need was set to be released, readers were treated to another unexpected surprise. Author Kiera West isn’t as new a writer as we all thought. The very talented Melissa Schroeder is the author behind this pen name. They are all short stories that focus on Eve getting to know one of the men but due to the back story of the evil threatening them all, they really aren’t stand alones. Each story is well developed and adds to the overall plot. The characters themselves have been fun getting to know. With so many people involved in a single relationship it’s nice to focus on each man one at a time.

I give her credit though; it has to be difficult to write a story with four main characters in a romance rather than the usual two.

I really liked Samantha, and could identify with her frustrations with her job and the monotony of her overall life. I found this story was a little difficult to settle into because the author spent a lot of time setting up the scene and bringing all four of the main characters together. Once Samantha and the Carson brothers were together, though, the book moved along at a brisker pace. Ms. Espino did a good job of developing the relationships between Samantha, Wyatt, Cord and Val. They all had different feelings about their relationship and the dynamics but at the same time they all wanted the same thing. Samantha is conflicted, she is not sure whether the brothers really want her as a woman or just want to take care of her out some sense of cowboy nobility.

Ms. Espino writes very descriptive love scenes that were hot and exciting; however I was disappointed that there were so few of them. The ménage scenes were well written and tastefully done. There are some light BDSM elements in this story, mainly spankings and some bossing around during the sex scenes but not enough to turn an erotic reader off even if they do not usually read BDSM.
