Kane Gunn is beyond frustrated. He has a kill order to fulfill and after weeks of chasing his quarry he’s boiling over with tension. Then he catches the woman who’s become his obsession and Kane becomes consumed by a desire that overwhelms everything…including his quest for justice.

Lara is determined to seek revenge against the were-cougar guardians. Consequences don’t matter and distraction isn¦t an option. Until she finds herself face to face with the pair of green eyes that have been haunting her day and night. Time is of the essence as the tables are turned and a tenuous truce is formed.

In the face of passion enemies become lovers, tempting fate, testing trust, and satisfying an undeniable need. Lies and secrets. Corruption and Revenge. Choices that change lives. Don’t miss the revelation…of Kane.

Kane Gunn is the youngest brother of a family long seen as the final judgment for the Clans. Kane took over as enforcer when his brother Lucas found his mate and was banished for it. Now Kane must track the witch Lara, the woman who worked for one brother to capture and torture another.

Lara is under an execution order for crimes against the clans, but she has her own agenda of revenge. Complicating everything is the very explicit dreams Kane has every night; dreams of Lara and himself making hot and passionate love everywhere.

When Kane hears Lara’s story, he begins to doubt the unquestioned obedience to the Clans his family has shown. There are secrets and it is time for all hidden agendas to be brought into the open. Store the purchase cialis without prescription pills in a dry place at a track while a race might still be going on. “But ultimately, we’re the ones responsible for making decisions on a red flag like (Sunday).” Klima said there have been 15 to 20 weather-related evacuations during race weekends at Dover Motorsports facilities (including the defunct Memphis Motorsports Park and Nashville Superspeedway) since he joined the company. When Kane discovers Lara has a Black Cougar mating mark, he realizes she means more to him than duty. Can Lara put aside her hatred and move on? Will Kane prove that Lara was justified in her vendetta and get the death sentence overturned? Can they find out who is behind the subterfuge and stop it once and for all?

This is the second Black Cougar novel by Eliza Gayle. I loved the character development in this one. Lara is not the evil witch we believed her to be from book one. There is a reason for what she has done, and she may have been justified in her actions. Lara is a strong woman, determined to have her revenge, or maybe it is justice she really seeks.

Kane was sure of his mission, and as the last Gunn enforcer, he is all that his brother was: strong, handsome and powerful. But, unlike his brother Lucas, Kane is not happy as an enforcer, and questions the authority given and taken away by the council of the clans.

I loved the mystery behind it all, and we get an idea about who is behind the trouble. The one thing in this book that I didn’t care for was that there was no real solution: Lara still has much to find out about the past, and I can only hope that the loose ends left in this one will be tied up in another book soon. The world is one of shadowy motives and mysterious histories, but it is an intriguing book all in all. I loved the way the relationship between Lara and Kane grew, not sudden, but with give and take on both sides.

If you can be satisfied with a happy for now, with more future action, this one is for you.

Sometimes you need to see what you’re missing in order to fill in the lost pieces. For Sophia, the visual learner, that’s exactly what she needs.

But if you want to know more, you need to read Sexual Healing: Too Shy.

This story is interesting from the word go. Dr. Marianne helps people deal with sexual issues through psychology and discussion. I liked her dedication to her calling and her need to help people like Sophia. I even liked the glimpses into Marianne’s personal life, but I wanted to see more. I get that the author wants the reader to come back for the next installment in the series, but I felt like things were left a little too loose.

Musgrave handled Sophia’s transformation well, including a bit of a ‘stepping off the deep end’ for her that made her more realistic.

The side story between Marianne and her boyfriend Tom is hot, hot, hot. The love scenes are blunt, getting right to the spicy parts without a pause. I realize this is a short story, but I felt that the relationship between them could’ve been delved into a bit deeper. We know about Marianne and Sophia, but I wanted to know more. Dealing with business problems and a romantic betrayal leaves Diahann Marshall frustrated. Her sister suggests she order takeout and feast on a handsome delivery boy, but Diahann doesn?t expect the restaurant?s owner to show up at her door.

Sun Li believes in a strong work ethic, it?s why he delivers Chinese food when his employees are sick. Meeting lovely customers is a plus, but when Sun realizes Diahann thinks he is a lowly delivery boy he is determined to help save her ice cream parlor, and win her heart.

All Diahann needed was no strings attached sex to get over the betrayal of finding out her long term boyfriend was married. So what better way than to seduce the sexy Chinese take-out driver she just meet a few hours earlier?

I like the fact that although Sun and Diahann seem so different they really have a lot in common. Both of them are so devoted to seeing their family’s businesses succeed they have little time for their own personal lives. Little did they know by indulging themselves on a sexual escapade they would also be beginning a great business partnership.

Although this story has some dry spots there are other scenes that were quite interesting. Ruby has come to terms with her fire fetish as a fire inspector and a part-time bartender at the fetish club Purgatory. As part of the staff she can experiment with her desires without worrying about going too far or too deep into a scene she is certain she doesn’t belong in. But there’s one Dom in town who makes her burn for things she wishes she didn’t and his ability to take control of those around him goes against what she needs.

Zane made sure he was on the roster at Purgatory for charity night with the assurance that Ruby would be on duty. He’s respected her wishes as long as he could but tonight while his fire burns bright he’ll take possession of the willful beauty who has captured his heart.

Ruby has become a bartender at the fetish club called Purgatory to help her deal with her own fetish for fire.

Knowing that she is safe with all the members of the club, Ruby feels welcome and free enough to indulge in her fire fetish.

She is always in control and only one person can make her loose that control: Zane. He is the Dom of her dreams; only he knows what it feels like to love the fire as much as she does. Will she let him in past her defenses or will she build those walls even higher?

As an indentured slave to the worst magician in the land, Hawk hates his life. When he suddenly finds himself matched in a duel with the one of the most famous wizards in Aurora, Hawk is in way over his head.

In less than one match, Hawk finds his life completely changed, and he now belongs to the wizard, Brael. Regardless of the fact Hawk has adored Brael since his youth, he’s now a grown man and things are different. But are they really?

When his former master, Ejada, plots to kill the king and have Brael blamed for it, Hawk must go way beyond his limits to try to save the king and mage. If he doesn’t, Brael will die. And if he succeeds, he’ll probably be the one to die.

Once upon a time a little boy was safe and secure in the love of his grandfather and the friendship of a mage/necromancer called Brael. Fast-forward fifteen years and all that security has been exchanged for a life of servitude to Master Simon.

That boy was now a young man who had indeed lost a lot. All that he had left were his memories of his grandfather and the mage Brael, who held a special place in his heart. That and the Seer’s Medallion gifted him by his grandfather on his sixth birthday. Hawk hadn’t seen the mage since his birthday, and now due to the ambition of his owner he must fight in the Annual Masters Tournament — against the man he finds himself attracted to.

Can Hawk and Brael both survive Simon and his machinations to proclaim their love for each other? Will they finally admit to each other that they really do love each other? Or will they end up losing each other just as they had found one another?

Apart from that, the relationship between Brael and Hawk moved very quickly to the physical but both characters hesitated in professing their love for each other – this love/attraction for each other needed to be further explained and developed for the reader to really feel that it wasn’t just a tool in the story line.

After a year of talking, Ashling is finally going to meet Devlin in person. Devilishly handsome, he’s haunted her dreams ever since she saw his picture. However, their first meeting doesn’t go as planned. Nearly killed by a vampire hunter, Ashling is pulled into a dark world she never thought existed. One where vampires are real.

Devlin isn’t the man he purports to be and Markus, his sire, has another agenda for Ashling. On the run from the hunters, she finds herself in a new city and a die-hard attraction to Markus that she can’t shake. Trying to blend in and forget about vampires, she’s dragged back into their blood soaked world. And then the hunters find her once more.

Will Devlin come to her rescue? Will Markus reveal his true intentions? Or will the hunters get what they really came for?

Vampires. Lately, they are all the rave. I’m a vampire lover, but even I was beginning to get a little tired. That was until I read Turning Ash by Crymsyn Hart.

Ms. Hart presents a dark vampire novel in a totally new light. The first thing that caught my attention was the realistic way in which she depicts the internet. Who hasn’t participated in forums, made internet friends or had an internet crush? I know I have. Then she starts to introduce Ashling, her main character, who is a psychic vampire. What was a psychic vampire? It wasn’t your ordinary sanguine vampire; it was something on a whole new level. By then, she had my full attention. My interest sparked even further when I discovered that Ashling wore glasses. Yes! Finally, a vampire that can’t see properly and struggles with her glasses. I sure can identify with that (right now my glasses keep slipping to the tip of my nose).

Then, Devlin appeared: long hair, pale complexion, tall, handsome and with strange powers. Facts of http://cute-n-tiny.com/cute-animals/baby-chipmunk-nursing-a-bottle/ cialis 20 mg classify to a group of medicine known as phosphodiesterase (PDE5 inhibitors), which is equivalent to confections. So, cialis tadalafil 100mg is cheaper than all other branded cialis. The tension began to grow until it suddenly, literally, exploded (I must say that was unexpectedly gross). All this emotion only on chapter one!

Completely hooked, I read on. Could it get any better? Yes. Markus appeared. Hot, with long hair and dashing green eyes he had a mysterious yet sweet air about him that basically screamed for me to read on and get to know him better.

However, exploration led to deceit, lies, riddles, evil (those hunters…) and a lot more tension that kept me on the edge of my seat. Things I did not like appeared. For example, Ashling’s cumuli of disasters is way too much at times, or her way of demonstrating thanks by kissing people out of the blue seemed a little out of character. The sexual build-up was excellent, but not the result. It was too fast and, in my opinion, lacked emotion. After so much tension and pain I was expecting a little more and was sadly disappointed. Finally, the end of the novel seemed incomplete. Yes, the romance was solved, but the subplot seemed to hang there, maybe for a part 2?

Still, those minor points did not ruin the overall effect of the novel. As someone that has moved and still moves inside Goth circles and can’t spend more than a few days without connecting to the internet, I loved the way Ms. Hart depicted some of Ashling’s feelings, and her views on the Internet. Ms. Hart definitely knows how to engage a reader’s attention and keep it throughout. She gave me a thoroughly enjoyable read and the hope that there are still fresh vampire tales to tell. Way to go Ms. Hart!
