This is an intriguing story featuring three fascinating men with distinct personalities. Garrett is an especially intriguing character. Only after the death of his high school sweetheart, Darcy, did he begin to explore his sexuality. He never quite felt comfortable with sex with Darcy, but never expected to find a relationship with his friends, Sam and Logan. Sam and Logan are determined to make Garrett see the possibilities that exist between them all, but face complications in the form of Darcy’s ghost and Garrett’s doubts. It was interesting watching the three men deal with Garrett’s hesitancy and doubts as well as his memories of his lost love.

I have to admit that at first I felt a little lost, as though I was starting the story in the middle, but soon I became intrigued by the characters and the plot. And while the ghost aspect was interesting, it felt a bit odd in this story. I would often forget about the presence of Darcy’s ghost in scenes until a reference or comment was made. I didn’t really feel that she was necessary to the story as knowing of Garrett’s internal battles with his memories and his sexuality would have been enough.

But, overall, this was an interesting read with intriguing characters and I enjoyed the relationships of the story.
