Dusty and Warren’s characters felt a little flat at times on the other hand. They both had their own personalities. Dusty being the loveable and naive guy you just can’t help but to love. Warren very militant and logical and holding things together usually. I just would have liked to have seen a bit more about these characters as they made each character so different. They were a modern day odd couple, and seeing more of that would have made the ménage relationship felt more genuine and long lasting for me.

Dracula proves to Dusty and Warren that not only are vampires real, but they have more control over mortals and even werewolves than you can imagine. It is kind of scary how easily Dracula is able to take control over Dusty and Warren. Really makes me wonder if it is possible. This antagonistic conflict is a large part of the story, as Dracula easily makes them bend to his will and proves he can use them as puppets in any way he sees fit. I liked this element to the story, but other elements in the story felt a bit to clichéd to me and made it felt a bit disingenuous.

This story features sex, sex and more sex. There is no shortage of erotica here, and I loved it. I did label it forced as Dracula does force the parties to do sexual acts when they are under his spell, but it is done in a way that is tasteful for the genre and definitely not too much for this girl. Though I did cringe at a few of the acts wondering if it was painful, the characters seemed to enjoy themselves so how could I not enjoy it with them? And I stop there lest I give away too much of the plot. This book is very hot, but I was thrown a little off by the opening scene. It didn’t end up detracting from the rest of the book, but I like to get to know a character before I’m walking through one of her orgasms. The book is an awakening for Brie and a personal growth for Kade who has never considered a woman for a long term relationship-until now.

It was shocking and it was very difficult for me to get the images out of my mind. With where I live, and where ever I go, I see trees so this story has kind of changed my perspective a lot.

This was Anita facing her problems with Jade. This was Anita learning the differences between herself, Jade and Jason’s girlfriend, J.J. I found myself fascinated. I care about Anita and as such, this book had a more powerful impact for me. I actually enjoyed it because for all the sexy talk, descriptions and hot scenes with Nathan, Jason and the rest of the small crew, there was still a purpose, a goal that had to be reached and sex was the vehicle for making it happen.

Since the Anita Blake series is ongoing, I hesitate to call this a standalone read. Yet, this is focused on figuring out if Jason and J.J. could realistically make a go of their relationship. It focuses on a short span of time with a tight group of characters. It possibly could be read as a standalone if a reader is looking for a book that explores some serious multi-partner action and doesn’t demand a traditional HEA. Nothing about this series is traditional and this book is no exception. As for the conclusion, it’s as close to a happy for now as it can get because Ms. Hamilton is the queen of hooks and dangling teases. She resolves the big stuff but always leaves a reader yearning for more, in a good way. I’d say Jason fits that formula.

For avid fans of the series, this is a must add to the collection. If only because we see Jason pursuing the most ‘normal’ of all the romantic entanglements I’ve seen in this series so far, and he’s a very likable and endearing character. I’m glad that it looks like he might have found someone who sees him for the man he is and not his were-animal. It was a fun novella and will probably appeal to fans more than new readers. Then again, on its own, this is a very hot read. In any event, it’s a decent story and I’m glad I read it.

For me, I would have like to know at least how much time was skipped. Nevertheless, seeing as this is a short story I think it’s a pretty good rendition of a Christmas read with a lot of heat.

One other thing that grabbed my attention was ‘Madam Eve’ and the 1NightStand service. There was not much of an explanation who Madam Eve was or enough explanation about 1NightStand for someone like me who is new to the series. I wanted to know more. These issues aside the story in and of itself was good and worth the read.

Yes, it is a short story, but a perfect Christmas read about family, love and Christmas. All the good things in life.

Though the second book could possibly be read as a standalone, it doesn’t fully answer all the questions since there were some facts and back story that were missing or incomplete. To fully understand the story you would probably have to read from the start.

The characters had very distinct personalities. I liked the angst and rivalry between Parker and Andre at first but then that began to become a bit repetitive and my interest started to drop. But then the events that occurred after that one bondage session happened and it amped up my interest level and kept it there until the end.

There are some scenes that would made me feel the pain that these characters were feeling (both physical and emotional) while also making me cry with the hope and love they have for each other. Some of the scenes may be deemed as torture by some.

A love triangle with a bit of BDSM and evil vampires in the mix. Perfect read for any vampire fan.

The writing in this book flows well. Once I picked it up, I couldn’t put it down. Yes, there are three individual stories here, but they have a central connection and great lessons for the heroines to learn. Ms Allure wrote characters I could cheer for and wanted to know more about.

At times, the stories were little more than erotic fluff but I didn’t mind. Sometimes that’s what I want–to be able to escape into the world of the characters and have fun. This book was definitely about fun.

Of the three stories, I enjoyed Seize the Doctor the best. From the start, I felt the steam billowing around Nikki and Court. They wanted each other beyond the initial contact and had me rooting for them right away. This story is guaranteed to melt your reader screen.

If you want stories that are hot and fun, then this might be the book for you.

Her sexy cowboys, Garrett and Seth, are wary of the relationship because of a bad relationship from their past. Then trouble follows Jessica to town. Her smarmy ex shows up looking to cause all kinds of trouble.

First of all, I liked the characters in this book. Jessica was the kind of heroine that I enjoy reading about. She’s strong and smart and knows how to take care of herself. Instead of waiting for someone to save her she went ahead and did it for herself. Also, she was a plucky gal who wasn’t shy about propositioning a cowboy wearing big boots, if you know what I mean. She was new to the menage lifestyle, yet she was game to try it and even initiated the game. So I really liked her and that helped me to enjoy the story even more. Then there were the guys and I liked them both. I felt that Garrett was more sexy but if I had to choose just one it would have to be Seth.

This scorching hot book had a good plot and the writing was pretty much flawless. It had a good suspense to keep things interesting in between plenty of steamy love scenes. Only making it better is that I realized this book is part of an already ongoing series. It’s the fifth book in the Montana Double Riders Series. That is a series that I’ve somehow missed until finding this book. Oh well, I look forward to catching up…

I enjoyed every single page of this sexy menage story.
