Keely’s boss certainly doesn’t help matter, either. He treats her as though she doesn’t have a single brain cell in her head and belittles her at every opportunity. Makar and Baruch are no strangers to love. They’ve had a strong bond with each other for years. Before all the women of their planet were murdered, they shared a mate, Tianus. But Tianus had been spoiled and immature. Unbeknownst to Makar, she had used her affection for him to hurt and torment Baruch. While they both had mourned her passing, they did the only thing they could to get through it: they turned to each other. The idea of having another mate to share seemed like a distant dream. That was until they spotted Dr. Keely Anderson making her rounds in the hospital. As soon as Baruch lays eyes on the shapely doctor, he knows she’s the one to complete their family. It doesn’t take long for Makar to reach the same decision. Now all they have to do is convince Keely that she’s the perfect mate for a couple of love-struck aliens.

I don’t know how Ms. Prater does it. Each story in the Fueled by Lust series is just a good as the one before. She’s managed to weave together this fantastic world of wonderful men who want nothing more than to dote on their mate. Each new tale not only revisits characters of previous installments, but she also manages to skillfully weave in new ones, which I hope means this line will never end. I liked the change of pace with this book by adding in a second male. The presence of M/M love on Insedivertus has been evident since book one. Yet, Ms. Prater has not made this an overwhelming theme. On the contrary, she’s added just enough into the mix to make it feel natural. While Makar and Baruch are indeed a mated pair, they’ve turned to each other out of necessity. They both long to replace that love with a mated female. I’m not a big M/M fan. While I have read and enjoyed some M/M stories, I’ve always preferred M/F. But Makar and Baruch’s relationship felt normal and appealing from the get go. I must admit, I’m envious of Keely. One Insedi male would be a dream come true. To have two chasing after you would be nothing short of Heaven.

Once again, Ms. Prater has managed to engross my attention to the point that if there were any flaws in her editing, I didn’t notice. I absolutely love how she builds on each new story with snippets of past installments. I feel like I know and love these people. Each character’s personality—strengths and weaknesses—continue to add and perfect the makeup of Insedivertus. Ms. Prater has integrated the Insedi race into the people of Earth in such a manner that it just may make you wonder…could it be possible?

While I always hate the final page and the words, The End, I turn my sadness into hope that Ms. Prater will continue the Fueled by Lust series with many more installments to come. No pressure. *smile*

Thank you Ms. Prater for another masterfully penned story with not one but two wonderful Insedi men. I’ve quit trying to pick a favorite; I don’t think it’s possible. The characters of the Fueled by Lust series will surely color my dreams and fantasies for many years to come.

If you dream of Alpha males with tender hearts, realistic females with a flaws to flaunt, and other worlds a heck of a lot more interesting than ours, then be sure to check out the Fueled by Lust series by Celeste Prater. Instead, she thinks about Anderson constantly. This new hard and soft side of her is both illuminating and surprising but what she learns next will either save her or set her free. I loved this book from beginning to end. The ugly parts and the pretty. The glamour and the underbelly. Drury Jamison shows us the world of submissive men and the vast rainbow of characters at any given BDSM event. Most novels I’ve read showcase the Dom, but not this one. This one glorifies strong women and the men behind them. It also shows the power struggle in some circumstances and just how real secrets can get in the cold light of day.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the book. The characters were rich, the scenes described beautifully and the interaction between the MC’s absolutely beautiful. Seeing Silver flourish and become the Domme as Anderson showed her what home meant was amazing and I had tears in my eyes on more than one occasion. It also had cutting edge mystery that kept you guessing who the murderer was until the moment it was revealed. Wow….wow.

I want more of Detective Silver and her man Anderson and I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to read this novel. Fans of Kallypso Masters, Sierra Cartwright and others that delve into the healing aspect of BDSM will adore this book.

These were incredibly fast reads that are highly entertaining and enjoyable.

It’s the paranormal aspect that allows the main characters to go from the initial meeting to ‘hot-to-trot’ within minutes of being in each other’s proximity. I like that the author included a valid reasoning and a tradition that all characters on stage have been tutored and trained in. What I liked is how the author interjected a unique conflict and drama in each one to give the plots teeth and motivation. They all worked for me but especially the last one.

Scarlet’s story sets up the world building and the crux of the story arc. Gabriella’s turn was fascinating because for all her humanness, she turns the tables on her combatant and proves she’s not as weak and discombobulated as she sometimes came across. It was a wonderful surprise. It’s amazing what love will motivate a person to do. Finally, Whitney’s exciting adventure wraps up the trilogy in a grand style because it exposes a deeply hidden lie and blows the lid off of an evil conspiracy. Ms. Kyle saved the best for last.

All the male heroes are hunky, totally alpha and aim to please their women. The author saved all the sexy fun hijinks for later in each novella once the heroine and her heroes have jumped the dramatic hurdles they were confronted with. Sex is the goal but love is the prize.

I enjoyed the dialogue, the settings and the discourse between all the characters in each book. None of them were copies of the other but were unique and special in their own ways. Erotic romance readers will thrill to all the three-way action but none of it would have worked without the wonderful plots they were couched in. Yes, they are short but Ms. Kyle focused on giving readers the best experience in the quickest amount of time. So, if a reader can only read a story a day, the enjoyment can be spread out. As for me, I couldn’t stop, didn’t want to stop until I read all three, which meant 1 A.M. Ouch.

The Alpha Marked series was a readaholic’s treat. I had a lot of fun meeting Scarlet, Gabriella and Whitney and their mates and commend Ms. Kyle on giving me a memorable reading experience. I do so love a good growly alpha, or two.

James who seems always the rock in the relationship, yet experiencing his own insecurities as they explore more about themselves both as individuals and as a couple. It make them more realistic and believable.

Mark is a character I did not learn too much about throughout the process. He clearly was a caring man who just wanted to find his place. I like that he is attracted to Caroline and respects his friend to allow him to set the pace and is just thankful for any involvement he is allowed. He is definitely someone I would have liked to have gotten to know a bit more.

The BDSM element in the story is something I appreciated. For the most part it was fairly accurate. It is a topic I am very familiar with and I only noticed one or two inconsistencies. For example, the author used the world flog in one scene when it was really a spanking not a flogging. Additionally, I think how the roles in the relationship were determined I would have like to have seen more of. For example it is clear by the end of the story Mark is more of a switch than a Dominant. It would have been interesting to see how he came to this conclusion. These are really minor things, and overall the average reader would probably no pick up on them. Compared too many other stories on BDSM this one is accurate as to the emotional development/discovery which I appreciate. It shows how important the decision is and that it is as much an emotional growth as it is a kink one.

I would certainly recommend this story to others, and I actually plan on doing so. Plus it has some interesting plot twists that really leave you wanting more in the end.

A reader will find a plethora of paranormal surprises as the mystery of the curse that plagues the two heroes is eventually resolved. The dilemma that the heroine, Chelle, faces isn’t solely about being able to love the two men at the same time. No, the author has another more dire decision for her to make and it becomes clear upon meeting her mysterious potential mother-in-law. Personally, I didn’t like the heroes’ mom at all. At first she seemed alright, until she started with her story – then I found her rather selfish. I’m glad Chelle had a few choice words for her; I felt the same.

The editing was fine in this tale and the descriptions of the island’s environs sounded beautiful and a place I’d love to visit. Dialogue kept the pace of the story going smoothly and it got quite heated when Chelle, Jon and Jason finally commit to the physical tango. Erotic romance readers should find enough to enjoy because the author provided a lot of threesome action. Perhaps the author waxed a bit poetic with some of the descriptions, and was a bit enthusiastic with all the dialogue during the sex or loving which felt a bit overdone but they were still fun to read.

The one area that I should perhaps give a heads up about is only a few paragraphs but some readers might appreciate knowing. Chelle has to accept both men in all their facets and that includes time spent with a furry Jason – wolf and woman. Ms. Anthony made sure to inject emotion and sympathy for Jason’s plight so when the reality of them coming together happened it was more erotic than it otherwise would have been. Here too, the author was creatively and enthusiastically descriptive.

As with any good romance, there’s a happy ever after, but the author was clever and kept me dangling for a bit. I wasn’t sure what was going to happen so I was especially intrigued and fascinated. I’m happy with the outcome and thought the last sentence cute and clever. Dinner for Three was an entertaining short story, and a nice way to relax for an afternoon especially with an ice cold beverage, extra on the ice.

They’ve wanted her for years but the timing had to be just right. It took the actions of some bullies for the guys to realize that the time is now and they’d better act fast. Once the motivation was in place it was a fast moving romance.

It’s good that Ms. Wren had her characters know each other prior and had them yearning for what they were too afraid to reach for, for various reasons, early on. Why? Because once the hurdles were shoved out of the way, the author wasted no time in switching gears and having Ebony fall the rest of the way in love with Jaxson and Cooper by means of physical expression. A LOT of physical expression – the kind that erotic romance stories are known for. At that point the story is focused only on them. The bullies are gone, external conflicts are gone; only Ebony, Jaxson and Cooper are on stage and readers will get their sensual fill.

Tigers are Forever gives erotic romance readers exactly what they look for – desire, passion, and the bedroom door blown wide open for all to enjoy. It’s a short story that gets right to the heat of the matter. If a sexy short-shot that can be read in one sitting is what a reader has a hankering for, this book delivers.

This is a story for fans of friends to lovers. What I liked about this story was the progression and format. It starts off with a memory which established a history between Nicky, Taylor and Ross. Then comes the fateful moment when the heroine hears something that devastates her. Next comes the time of just existing, where the heroine, Nicky, lives a half-live of unrequited love. She values Taylor’s and Ross’s friendship too much to ever do something to destroy their relationship. She’s dying a slow emotional death. I liked that aspect, the focus on their humanity and feelings – she cares and has respect for the two men in her life, even if it hurts. At that point, all a reader wants is for Nicky to be happy.

I wasn’t the only one, and this is where the paranormal aspect comes in. There are two helpers in this romance that can only come from the woo-woo side of fiction. It’s never confirmed if the woman is a witch or not but the man/beast left me in no doubt that there’s something other going on. It’s what was needed to get all three protagonists to wake up and TALK. It turns out that the heroine could dress sexy and speak sultry and huskily all she wants but the real turn on is when all three talk and the unvarnished truth comes out. That’s when the cementing of the romance takes place and the sex explodes. From then on the writing is hot, frenetic and delivers what erotic romance readers enjoy.

One part of erotic writing that doesn’t work for me is the technique of using fantasies with masturbation. It’s not a plus for me but for many readers it is and they enjoy it. If that’s the case for a reader looking at this review, then it’s an endorsement because the writing is well done and the author does have a good imagination. Certainly the scene makes clear that Nicky really is head over heels for Taylor and Ross.

Fortune’s Favor has a well-executed happy ever after that fully satisfied the romantic in me. It’s a quick read and has what fans of short erotic romances look for – passion with a purpose. It’s worth checking out.

The story is a very cleverly written in the way that it tells the love story of the three brothers all in a single book. It took some time for the main plot to really develop but then it takes center stage in the third brother, Donovan’s, story. This trilogy had a little bit of a suspense feel to it but not enough to be categorized as one.

All three brothers are different in style and what they like, though their love for horses is one thing that is common between them. Each brothers has their own conflict to resolve within the book.

But in Anna he finds compatible in every possible way imaginable.

All three of these couples are so different but their chemistry was hot and spicy readers who enjoy a little more hardcore erotic romance should definitely give The McGilley Trilogy a read.

The characterization in this story was amazing. Dove was incredibly strong and my favorite character. She was kidnapped, terrorized and left for dead, and she never stopped fighting to live. She refused to choose between Draven and Cade and was very open about wanting a relationship with both men. Then there was the complications that had to be resolved between the guys. It was nice how things worked out in the end and that Draven and Cade were able to work out their differences. Drama, suspense, red hot love scenes and a couple of twists that spiced up this fast paced storyline.

All in all, this book was an engaging read. The story grabbed my attention and had me hooked until the last page of the very lovely epilogue. Now, this is the third book in an ongoing series, but I really wouldn’t call it a stand alone story because past events made it confusing at first. I am happy to recommend this one, but suggest beginning with the previous books first.

The author did a good job on this story. It had an interesting plot with plenty happening to keep me engrossed in the conflict. The story revolves around a trio of lovers, Warrick, Isabella and Colton. Our two handsome guys are confirmed players who have no intention of ever settling down. Until now. Isabelle recently moved to town and set her sights on the confirmed bachelors even though she may get her heart broken. There was also some suspense that unfolded with a dangerous case of mistaken identity, a deadly vendetta and some family secrets. All of these events made it an exciting book.

The characters in the story were well developed and had their own personalities. There was Warrick as the man in charge, and the one with the most to lose. Colton was more passive but the most charming. Then we had Isabella who had endured some hard knocks but kept her sense of humour. I liked them all so it was delightful watching as their relationship unfolded. Now, I would be remiss not to mention the scorching hot menage love scenes. The love scenes were fairly intense and included some anal play. It was also, and this is the most important part for me, very romantic.

You might say that this story is mostly about being willing to give up everything to be with the ones you love. Overall, it was a great read that was beautifully written. I look forward to the next book in this series.
