Heidi Cullinan is easily one of my all-time favorites for M/M small town romance. I enjoy that she addresses the prejudices that can crop up in small town USA and that she meets it head on with characters that aren’t afraid to love each other despite the world around them.

Snow penises, that’s what sold this book for me, the cute way that Kyle and Paul finally saw each other as a possibility, the moment that Paul realizes that Kyle is all grown up. Kyle is the smaller of the two men, but he’s definitely in charge. I loved this about him, he’s not afraid to be everything Paul needs to fall in love and be happy.

The way that a good chunk of the town works hard to help Kyle woo Paul made me smile, and I loved catching up with past characters and the way they supported each other. I so want to visit Logan Minnesota myself, after reading this book, too bad it’s fictional.

For a good small town romance with a MM twist, look no further than Winter Wonderland, it has quirky characters, a warm fuzzy feeling and leaves the reader craving some Christmas cheer.

Amun is suave, capable and definitely in control of both of his lovers. Leto is a unique character because he has a human soul/ghost inside of a cyborg. I kind of loved that about him, that he was very human and yet not. I also loved the way Luxi meets both men separately and yet falls for them both, and it helps the triad work well for them.

This is a novella, set in a world I’ve visited before, yet it is easily read as a delicious stand alone. There is a relationship between all three characters including some very sexy scenes between Amun and Leto. I enjoyed every scene, and I would gladly read a full length story with these three.

I highly recommend this story to fans of sci-fi menage romance who like when all three characters fully love each other.

This is fourth Halle Shifters book, and I definitely recommend reading the others. The author does give a lot of background, but all the characters from past book that stop by were much easier to understand since I’ve read the others.

Chloe and James were fantastic together, and I look forward to seeing them in future books, and definitely want the conclusion of the overall mystery. I enjoyed the way this book ended with a little bit wrapped up but I definitely want to see how the author finishes out the overall story arc. This is a great story and I highly recommend it.

I highly recommend this story and it was a great way to pass an afternoon.

Georgie is a great heroine, she’s a strong woman who doesn’t let the opinion of others color what she herself believes. She’s the strong one in this story, because she believes in Cade even when he stops believing in himself. I loved that. I love their chemistry together, and that while Georgie could have taken the easy path, she chooses to go for happiness and fall in love with Cade.

This was my first Naked Cowboy story I’ve read in the series, and it’s book four. That didn’t stop me from falling in love with this book and the characters. I even liked the other characters even when they were being a bit gossipy and at times harsh. Their actions made them human, and I appreciated that the author wasn’t afraid to show real humans with real flaws.

I definitely recommend this book, just push through the first impression of Cade, hold on, and it will get a million times better. It ended up being one of the best books I’ve read in a while.

I immediately fell in love Kyle when he rescued her, even though I admit I had a bit of a learning curve about Otterkin and what all that meant. I think the author does a decent job handling it for any readers like me, who pick up the fourth book in a series and try it out.

He takes her to his former lover Declan Donovan, a witch that is uniquely suited to help Meaghan learn her new water magic, but he also needs Kyle and Meaghan to reassure him that he won’t blow up the world in the process.

There is a lot of action as they race to keep the child safe from the Agency, and while I’m sure reading the past books would have helped with the confusion I felt about a few things Agency related, I was still able to follow along and get swept up in the action.

This is a relationship where they all love each other equally and the scenes between just Kyle and Declan were equally as hot as when all three of them came together. I really enjoyed their relationship and while it took a bit of a backseat to the action, it was still very sexy and enjoyable.

The author even managed to throw in a believable villain and subplot of menace that propelled the story forward and it worked even in the limited amount of story the author had to work with.

The only issues I had were because of my lack of previous knowledge, so I didn’t know all the characters that came out to play, yet that didn’t really detract from the story. Audrey and Jackson are very much in love, and it showed in all of the interactions. It was refreshing to read a story with an already established couple, and I’m sure for fans who read their story, it was a nice reunion with characters I’m sure they loved before.

Overall, it is a quick read, that is both well written and paced well, and it left me with a warm fuzzy happy holidays feeling even though it’s way past Christmas. I highly enjoyed this story and will definitely pick up more Ugly Stick Saloon stories in the future.

I adored that Gabriel and Arthur were not interested in each other when they first met but they slowly find small things in common, and not just their volcanic chemistry. They definitely have chemistry once they find some alone time. Gabriel thinks Arthur is too loud and not book smart, while Arthur thinks Gabriel is too skinny and way too into books.

I related to both of them, Gabriel because he understands that books and knowledge can allow anyone to escape their world into more perfect worlds created by authors. I also related with Arthur because everyone just assumes he’s this horn dog who’s a bit slow and not the kind of man for a real relationship. His meddling mother is determined to find him a man, and even though she means well, I understand how that could become a bit tiring.

While being both an emotional story and lighthearted at the same time, it also touches on some serious issues. I loved the parts where Gabriel teaches about little boys wanting dolls and how boys can have and play with baby dolls too.

I definitely recommend this story, I enjoyed every last bit of it, and even though it’s the second of a series, it is easily read by itself. It’s a great story for fans of small town romance who want that M/M twist.
