I really enjoyed these two short stories. Sexy and fun they’re a lovely quick read with plenty of heat and just a dollop of humour to them. I really enjoyed the energy of Moonshine. I loved Jenson and his still – and adored how Jenson stuck to his roots and was proud of his heritage but wasn’t a hick or hillbilly. I enjoyed the sense of dichomy the story gave with Jenson knowing a lot about his lycanthropy and being a wolf and David being very new to it all. Even though David was a total rookie and Jenson helped him ease over those first few hurdles the two men felt very evenly matched. This was a “student and teacher” sort of thing but it was clear that they were equals and both had plenty to bring to their fledgling relationship. This was a great short story.

Absinthe is absolutely a stand-alone story but I enjoyed it a lot more since there are a few links between Moonshine and Absinthe so I definitely enjoyed it more reading the two together. Rene and Barthe have had a rocky time of things. When Barthe had told the much younger Rene to go out into the world, explore and live a little it had cost him a lot to offer his mate the freedom to grow up. When Rene had taken Barthe at his word and left – for years – Barthe had spent every moment regretting his actions. Even though I found this history between the two wolves to be difficult I was pleased this was all explained in a few pages right at the start of the story. The short length of the story meant we could see the ending.

Rene and Barthe have both certainly learned important lessons and the sex between them is smoking hot and slightly kinky (spankings and being bound – light BDSM mostly). Readers looking for a hot paranormal short story should find both these stories sexy and fun and enjoyable quick reads.

Finn and Jared both enjoy a bit of kink and while a bad experience had kept Jared out of the lifestyle for a while they both eagerly jumped right back in. I found the small cast of secondary characters both amusing and really well drawn. I feel the small town setting really worked well and offered a host of other equally enjoyable stories. This is an author I’ve read before – and enjoyed just as much as I did this go around. Indeed, it’s rapidly getting to the stage where I’ll likely give anything by this author a try because I’m almost guaranteed a humorous and enjoyable, quick read with characters I can get addicted to and a good, solid place with the plotting and romance.

I enjoyed the push-pull between Zane and Grant and felt their relationship grew along logical and believable lines. I particularly loved the chemistry between the two men and felt that the author did an amazing job letting both men be themselves while also slowly knitting them together to form the family they will become. I was thrilled when the eventual about-face that Grant needed to realise and I thought the author made it feel natural and relatable – and not a dramatic storm-in-a-teacup or blown out into an unnecessarily dramatic climax.

Fun and sexy, with two awesome heroes and a few solid secondary characters this is a great, quick read.

J.P. Bowie makes this novel a thrilling ride not only for his characters but also for the readers with moments dripping with sweet tension, wondering if everything will work out for our heroes. The emotion in this novel fuels every piece of the puzzle in all moments whether they be sweet or saucy.

Tim and Ryan steal the show, but their relationship isn’t the only interesting part of this novel. Bowie writes a wonderfully fun side cast of characters, their personalities filling the pages and rounding out the relationships of everyone on the Seven Plus Ranch. They even keep readers guessing on who might hold the next starring role in a Hot in the Saddle novel… Sherriff Joel Harper and Rancher Stu Reynolds perhaps?

While I’m not privy to information on a fourth installment in this series, I do hope I can at least encourage the idea of one! Though it was a very quick read, the attention to detail Bowie put in his work does not go unnoticed. Loving the Cowboy is very carefully edited with no forgotten words or misplaced phrases and it does EVERYTHING to not distract from the story this novel is telling.

In this story about learning to love, you as a reader will find so much fulfillment in nicely developed characters, thrilling plot points, and the rugged arms of two very fit wranglers! I highly recommend rounding up this series for your collection especially if you are looking for something spicy!

The tension between them is thick enough to cut it with a knife, and their resistance to each other is almost as sensual as their inevitable ignition of their spark. Bound by their pasts, and their uncertainty in the future, Remi and El build and break barriers in their relationship creating a new depiction of sexy that is nearly unattainable.

The Billionaire’s Bribe is a fast-paced read that encompasses the exhilaration of mutual attraction, the realities of everyday life, and the desire to be wanted by someone for more than just money. This is the only book by this author I have read but, based on this, she is definitely an author I will keep an eye out for in the future. A brilliant book absolutely recommended by me.

The fiery passion between these two is only exemplified by how sweet they are as characters. They are both so caring that naturally when Chuck comes along with a mysterious past and a secret lost love, Billy and Daniel together find the key that may just be able to open up this grumpy old man’s heart again.

David C. Dawson does an excellent job creating characters that make an impactful story. Incredibly saucy sex scenes cannot even compare to the vibrant sauciness of Daniel’s good friend Maggie, whose biting wit and sincerity help craft this from a story of lust to a wonderfully memorable piece of romance. Not to mention Billy’s mother Sarah, who is an incredibly light and caring character with a set of unfortunate circumstances that just help guide Billy to be his best self. But trust me, there are many lusty moments too! The plot was thick with moments all over the spectrum of happy, sexy, and sad, and it was written so well that I was able to really let my heart laugh, love, and grieve the parts of the story that required me to do so.

Heroes in Love is an encouraging story about love, future aspirations, and forgiveness. It gives a wonderful assortment of queer representation that is so important to a much wider audience, and a story that is as well-written as it is H.O.T! David C. Dawson wrote true, REAL, love that takes hard work and care to cultivate, and it was such a pleasure to read along as the characters find their way to their true happiness. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who believes that love can find you at any time or place, and that true love will wait for you as long as you open your heart to the possibilities.

Troy is a confirmed workaholic and he knows he should take more time for himself but he’s just never managed to do that. He finds some incentive when he meets Dee at a Christmas party he’s networking at, but neither man was expecting to find something serious or so special together.

I really enjoyed this full length story. While Troy and Dee get intimate extremely quickly that’s not too unexpected for a heavily erotic story like this. Even though I didn’t find the near-immediate intimacy realistic I was pleased that the progression of Troy and Dee’s relationship was emotional and a lot more fulfilling. I greatly enjoyed getting to know Troy and Dee’s characters better as they learned about each other and found this really helped even out the pacing of the story as a whole and made it a lot more logical and relatable. Troy had a little bit of a hidden (even to himself, I believe) streak of submissive in him. Readers who aren’t a fan of BDSM shouldn’t be put off by this – I felt the handling of that side to the story was given a very light touch and I was pleased with this because it added an extra element to the story – and the sex in particular – but it didn’t detract from the main element of the romance and relationship building between Troy and Dee.

There’s a small but very strong cast of secondary characters – primarily surrounding Troy’s family members. Readers should be aware that one of the smaller sub-plots involves Troy’s much younger sister being in a difficult situation. While I personally found it tastefully and sensitively handled and this is a very, very small part of the story I feel some of the issues raised might be polarizing or difficult for other readers to have addressed in a steamy, erotic story.

While this is the third book in the series (Troy is the eldest of triplet boys and the previous two stories revolve around these two brothers) I easily picked this up by itself and had no problems happily following along despite not reading the other two books. I got a good kick out of Troy’s family members and felt they added some much-needed depth and dimension to the story and I was pleased with the added plot they all lent which helped keep the book from being purely about Troy and Dee and their relationship.

While very heavy on the sexual element between the two men I found myself really enjoying this story and read it very quickly. Readers who enjoy a lot of sex and passion in their stories – along with a light bit of kink and a side-dish of family shenanigans should find this a fun and interesting sexy read. I enjoyed this story and it will be going on my keeper shelf, for sure.
