Don’t think.

Don’t question.

Just do.

The anonymous note wasn’t for me.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not in the habit of reading other people’s mail, but it was just a piece of paper with a few lines scrawled on it, clearly meant for the apartment upstairs. It looked so innocent, but decidedly—deliciously—it was not.

Before replacing the note—and the ones that followed—in its rightful slot, I devoured its contents: suggestions, instructions, commands. Each was more daring, more intricate and more arousing than the last…and I followed them all to the letter.

Before the notes, if a man had told me what to do, I’d have told him where to go. But submission is an art, and there’s something oddly freeing about doing someone’s bidding…especially when it feels so very, very good. But I find that the more I surrender, the more powerful I feel—so it’s time to switch up roles.

We play by my rules now.

Ever have something you thought you didn’t need at all? And then you realize that you can’t live without it, but you plundered your chances for a happy ending? Life hands us what he can handle and demonstrates power. Some can deal, while others cannot. What would you do? For Paige, the answer is to Switch.

Ms. Hart writes an interesting novel. Her characters are real and deal with situations you could see yourself in. You want to see these people succeed and get their lives sorted out. At the same time, you can see yourself having the same issues and dealing in the same ways. Increased Libido The invigorating fruit of Amazon gives you so much energy and endurance that order viagra you become adorable for your partner in bed. It was tadalafil for women a revolution in the era in joy of sex. If penile Clicking Here cheap viagra order region of men does not allow them to digest the hard tablets. tadalafil soft tablets A talk with your physician will be the better solution of it. I liked how the lives of the characters twined together. You are enmeshed in the story from page one and not given a breather until far after the last page.

Although I felt there were parts of this novel that needed a bit of extra care, this is a great read. There are times when Paige, though she’s coming into her dominant own, comes off as almost cruel and childish. She’s not sure of her place in life, and that makes sense, but she almost has a bit of growing up to do as the story progresses. I like the idea of her embracing the power of her dominant side; I just think her path to getting there was a bit jaded.

If you want a story that will titillate you, then you might want to keep looking. The plot is strong. You can’t help but keep reading, but the sex scenes fall a tad flat. I kept waiting for that moment when she realizes that she’s dominant, powerful, and sensual and it seemed to come almost too late.

I enjoyed Switch and recommend it to those wanting a story about people they could know. I give this story 4 cherries.

Champion bull rider Cody Braddock has always loved the ladies. As a vampire, each time he brings a woman satisfaction, his strength grows!

But right now he’s thinking only about vengeance. His mission: to hunt down and destroy the one who murdered his beloved family.

Revenge, however, takes a detour when he meets sweet, passionate Miranda Rivers. She’s never experienced the big O, and she wants to—badly! How could any man—vamp or not—resist?

Yet the deeper Cody drinks of Miranda’s delicious charms, the more he craves. Only, Miranda wants more than just an eternity of hot sex. She wants Cody’s undead heart to beat again, just for her….

Add one vampire to one woman who is trying to outrun her sexy side. For spice, the story takes place in Skull Creek, Texas with a whole passel of other vampires. What do you get? Cody, by Kimberly Raye.

Now I have to admit, I love Kimberly Raye’s vampires. She writes quirky, sexy vamps that have issues, yet want love – even if they don’t know it yet. You can’t get these hunks out of your mind. Plus, she manages to bring back the other vampires from earlier books, weaving them together to create a story you won’t forget.

Miranda is every man’s desire – blonde hair, stacked, and legs that go on forever. Lead to substantial increase in the buy cheap tadalafil overall stamina and energy during the bedtime performance. She’s not like them, but when she sees the hunky bull rider, she’s tempted to unleash her inner vixen. I liked that she’s afraid of him, but also intrigued. She wants to be with him, but she doesn’t want to lose herself in him. That’s a powerful thought. I also liked that Miranda was the one woman who manages to bring Cody from his boring existence. She makes him feel things. Again, powerful stuff.

And the sex scenes? Whew! Very hot. Although there were a few scenes that involved other partners in his past, you felt his passion for Miranda even when he’s not sure himself.

If you want a vampire story you won’t forget and a new series you’ll want to read from beginning to end, then you need to read Cody. I give this story 4 ½ cherries.

To inspire their love-play, Maeve weaves this intoxicating, erotic bedtime tale for her husband.

Queen Philomena’s love-life has been prescribed by duty. Hardly more than a child when she married the aged king, the young widow yearns to experience the ways of love in one singular night of passion before entering another loveless marriage of state. Sent to the Queen’s chamber to “amuse” Her Majesty, Dante is handsome, fascinating…and much too insolent. At first, Philomena is determined to assert her control, but as the night progresses, she discovers pleasures she’d never imagined and surrenders to ecstasy.

I’m going to be completely honest with you: the chance to read stories like The Queen’s Tale is the main reason I voraciously hunt down, devour, and review erotic ebooks. Harlequin and I have had an on-again, off-again love affair for years, but I was happy when they started producing Spice Briefs, because it seemed to be a perfect venue for the archetypal Harlequin story, with lots of sex thrown in to keep things interesting. Grace D’Otare’s tale-within-a-tale of lovers and their games has proven my hunch was correct.

Queen Philomena is the kind of queen you wish existed everywhere: beautiful, generous, politically astute, and genuinely endearing. Her sexual innocence seems to come and go in the story, and D’Otare seems unsure as to how much she wants her heroine to know, but this is a nit-pick about an otherwise solid romantic leading lady. She manages to embody the uncertainty of learning the ways of physical love, and the ambivalence of ruling while being vulnerable to the whims of state and eddies of fate.

And then there’s Dante. In my heart of hearts I know that romance demands an alpha male, taking charge and getting things wrong and oh-so-right, in order to work. However, that does not mean that I don’t sometimes dream of a leading man with a little something more to offer. But I digress. Dante is a Harlequin leading man, and he makes all the usual mistakes and garners all the usual triumphs that come with that job. Philomena gets him into a couple of interesting positions, though, and no one can deny that he’s lovely to watch.

The one night of sex that Dante and Philomena get is playful, intense, and satisfyingly steamy. Their story in general is somehow both spicy and frothy, as well as slyly romantic. The glimpses we get of Maeve and her husband are tantalizing, and I think I would have liked to see more of them, although as it stands they serve as perfect witnesses to the story of Dante and Philomena. As a great fan of bodice-rippers, royal sex, and light historical tales in general, I cannot recommend this enough. It is full of unexpected fun and mischievous joy, and this makes it the perfect choice for light, hot, romantic reading.

Review: Acting on Impulse

Acting On Impulse (Midnight Fantasies) (Blaze, 21)
By Vicki Lewis Thompson

Small-town girl Trudy Baxter is ready to take on New York City. She’s looking for excitement, adventure . . . and incredible sex! She wants to experience every little thing — and every type of man — the city has to offer. Her first target — sexy Wall Street hunk Linc Faulkner. Only, once she gets Linc into her bed, she’s reluctant to let him go…

Linc Faulkner has never met anybody like Trudy. She’s so spirited, so sexy, so damn uninhibited! She’s his every fantasy in the flesh. Only, Linc knows he’s just the first man on Trudy’s sexual wish list. So what else can he do but convince her that he can be *any* man she’ll ever want — and the *only* man she’ll ever need.

If you have ever had a chance to see for yourself the difference in people’s attitudes, especially the attitudes of people from the country or small town life and the cosmopolitan attitudes of people in New York City or Boston, you’ll chuckle reading this story.

Trudy Baxter is a woman who goes to the Big City to experience it all. She is willing to embrace the wildness of the city that never sleeps with the emphasis on not sleeping. She intends to have sex—and lots of it. She has the plan and the bed.

Linc Faulkner is a reluctant chaperone. He thinks he’s going to be bored out of his ever-loving mind but is going to watch over the newly arrived Miss Baxter as a favor to his best friend, who just happens to be married to Trudy’s best friend.

Linc finds himself not only far from bored but ends up way out of his comfort zone. Seems Trudy’s idea of embracing her sexual freedom in the big city is shopping at the adult toy store and role playing steamy fantasies that ties Linc up in knots. No, wait. Those were handcuffs.

There are BDSM scenes that were quite hot and stimulating. Heck, there’s even sex in a semi-public space which I would never have the brass ones to do. Never mind the elevator. Vicki Thompson cleverly sidestepped that worn-out ploy.

Ultimately, after every hot encounter has them panting for more from each other, Linc and Trudy’s emotions sit up and take notice. They end up running in different directions because of this complication.

Trudy wants no part of love. She has finally escaped her old life and is just getting her first taste of freedom. She doesn’t have to share a bathroom.

Linc wants no part of marriage. His parents’ relationship is dysfunctional and he has no other reference from marital relationships. He has become a master at avoiding the wedding trap.

However, unknown to both Linc and Trudy, all the extreme sexual fantasies they’ve been engaging gin so enthusiastically require one fundamental element. Trust. Trust paves the way for love and eventually the “M” word. How long can they hold out against it?

Who says the only way to a man’s heart is through is stomach? A few mirrors, a blow-up doll, and a bit of dominance can go a long way too. Acting on Impulse is a fun exploration on how sexual fantasies can enrich a relationship.
