Can a Viking forgive the woman who cheated him of his vengeance?

All Dráddor has to do is kill the Earl of Caithness, wed the man’s daughter, and vengeance would be his and the oath to his father would be fulfilled. But when he arrives at Caithness, the earl is already dead, poisoned by own wife. And when he finds the earl’s daughter, the Lady Xára, he find she’s unable to speak. Unwilling to be thwarted, Dráddor marries her anyway to claim the earl’s lands and title, knowing King Kenneth could not fault him for later casting her aside.

She must win Dráddor to her side before he discovers the secret that will destroy all. But the Saracen warrior, Niketas, has other plans. He needs the blood of two virgin half-immortals to win eternal life and the powers of the gods. Until the god Heimdallr, Xára’s true sire, makes it clear he has other plans for his beloved daughter…

See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil…

In Ms. Xára’s case, she fits the speak no evil category, but she has certainly seen and heard plenty, particularly when it involves her step-uncle Néill and his spell-casting concubine, Magnhildur. After living for several years in a convent, coming back to her home in Lathairn is a shock for Xára. First, she finds out she has a younger sister who is destined to wed her depraved uncle, and then her father’s evil reign is suddenly brought to a tragic end by her mother’s own hand. As her mother lies dying from the same poison that killed her father, the lies surrounding Xára’s family begin to unfurl. To save her little sister from marriage to Néill, Xára devises a scheme of her own, but a surprise attack not only robs her of her ability to speak, it also leaves her shaken and terrified for their futures. Alas, there is much more for poor Xára to learn. Néill’s thirst for power goes deeper than she could imagine. Things are not what they seem and there are family secrets she has yet to discover, secrets that threaten to destroy everything she holds dear in the world, including her relationship with her new husband, Dráddør.

Hefnd Hamarr (Vengeance Hammer) is what Dráddør calls his mighty weapon. The prospect of quenching his thirst for revenge is so close he can nearly taste his enemy’s blood, but it seems the gods have other plans. The disappointment in learning that his rival, Arnfinn, had been poisoned by his wife is fast but fleeting. Even though he was ordered to marry Arnfinn’s first born and claim Lathairn and all it’s lands, he is pleasantly surprised when his intended turns out to be quite comely with nice “titties” and a lovely “puss”. But his approval of her outward appearance turns bitter sweet when he learns she can’t speak. However, if Dráddør thinks he’s inherited a fortune in lands and holdings plus a dumb and mute wife, he has another thing coming. While Lathairn’s value certainly isn’t questionable, its state of disrepair and filth leaves a lot to be desired. Dráddør certainly has his work cut out for him. Riddled with secrets, lies, and misgivings, it’s going to take one hell of a man with a crap load of patience to pick through the rubble and restore Lathairn to its previous glory, which includes righting the wrongs committed against his new bride and her remaining family.

Vengeance Hammer is book three in Ms. Carlo’s Viking Vengeance series, and it left me wanting to read books one and two. The story opens with an instant hook for me: barbarian storms the castle, then whisks the helpless maiden off for a night of passion in his bed. Well, not quite like that, but close enough. While many readers might be appalled by that notion, it’s Dráddør’s tenderness and compassion while carrying out the required actions to stake his claim on Lathairn that had me instantly falling in love. Even though Xára is dumb, she’s certainly not stupid and she quickly discovers that Dráddør is not the brute she expected him to be. Don’t get me wrong, he’s stubborn and bossy—as I imagine most Viking warriors were. Taking his new wife’s virginity in front of a room full of witnesses, then hanging the bloodied sheets out for proof of his claim seems pretty darned cold-hearted—I guess they did things a bit differently back in those days—but his tenderness and thoughtfulness throughout the ordeal is surprising not only me, but to Xára as well. He has a level of compassion that I imagine was rare for his kind and it sets him above others, making him a perfect hero for Lathairn and all its inhabitants.

Seems that kindness runs in the males of his family, for when his brothers and their wives show up, I see a similar pattern in them—lucky girls. The passion between Xára and Dráddør is undeniable. While some of his pet names for various parts of Xára’s body might make some readers cringe with distaste, I found them endearing because they were used with tangible respect. Dráddør falls for Xára quick and fierce, and it has him reeling. Even though lingering secrets and lies threaten their newfound affection for each other, Dráddør handles himself admirably and certainly earned my respect. The secondary characters add depth and excitement to the story, without overshadowing the main stars. Overall, Ms. Carlo has penned an exciting and romantic tale that stole my heart and left me dreaming about my own Viking warrior.

Fierce barbarians, cunning maidens, a little bit of magic and plenty of mayhem, what else can you ask for in a fierce tale of love, war and honor? Ms. Carlo balances it all in Vengeance Hammer. I enjoyed every moment from beginning to end and look forward to reading more from this skilled author.

What’s a girl to do when the guy she falls for is married to another man?

This is exactly what happened to me. Seeing Josh Kendal stroll out of the Mediterranean Sea wearing tight navy swim trunks and looking like a hot new James Bond was a truly delicious moment. Catching sight of his wedding ring was like a kick in the shin and meeting his gorgeous husband, phew, that was enough to make any girl groan at the cruel joke God was playing on her.

But all was not as it seemed, and when Josh needed a woman to sort out a ‘delicate predicament’ I was the one for the job – heck, what did I have to lose? Certainly not as much as him, literally.

Give your partner sex climax before devensec.com order levitra online placing male organ into the vagina. The most disturbing effect of adult literature is that it induces erectile dysfunction and prevents men from engaging in ordinary and cialis online satisfied sexual relation. For individuals plagued cialis pills price by migraine headaches, two major studies found evidence supporting chiropractic manipulations (adjustments) as an effective treatment. Also, this drug is available devensec.com buying viagra uk Over-the-counter (OTC) as it doesn’t require any prescription. Trouble is, emotions always get tangled, loyalties can’t help but be divided and with a night of memories so hot they’d have the devil sweating, there was only one thing for it—it was time to get honest, fight for what I wanted despite society’s constraints and open my heart to the people it needed most.

Prepare to be seduced along with one of the heroes. The Glass Knot is a saucy bit of writing that fans of ménage style romances will appreciate. Ms. Harlem has created a believable and entertaining seduction that engages a reader’s senses.

The first thing I want to mention is the style of storytelling. It’s written in first person POV which is not an easy thing to do. However, it’s not done in the typical fashion. The first part introduces Josh’s perspective and the reason and catalyst for the plot. The meat of the story, (meat – inside joke) is based solely on Laura’s side of things and a reader follows her journey toward acceptance of an unconventional love style. The conclusion is the wrap up told from Nick’s viewpoint. Getting into his head was crucial not to mention satisfying because it proves without a doubt that this blended family was strong and healthy and it provided the perfect happy ever after ending.

It’s the journey that makes reading The Glass Knot such an entertaining read. The part that stands out for me is the seduction of Josh. Ms. Harlem paid attention to details like their eyes, breathing, how certain body parts were affected and her choice of words to describe and show the progression of Josh’s introduction to man/woman love was scorching in its intensity and clarity. It’s the highlight of the whole book.

How the author chose to explore human emotion, passion and the problems it can cause when it’s overwhelming was also a testimony to quality writing. It’s a sticky wicket when trying to balance and mesh a potential new love in with an established way of being and living. I think Ms. Harlem handled that whole process well. People make mistakes and having the courage to stand up and be accountable takes a certain level of bravery many people lack. I enjoyed how the author had her characters handle it.

I liked the chemistry between all of the protagonists. My only complaint has to do with Laura. As much as she claims to be handling her life and doing well, I didn’t find that believable at all. How she handled the water debacle in her residence did not impress me. In fact, it made what Josh and Nick did perfectly reasonable. I’m of the impression that if they hadn’t come into her life, Ms. Laura was going to experience an epic failure and a serious blow to her self-esteem. She came across as a wimp and a ditz. As much as I kind of understood her ire when the men acted like over chivalrous knights, they were justified in their actions. I believe those scenes with Laura and that particular crisis point was the only thing I wasn’t happy about in the whole book. The saving grace was the men’s ability and willingness to communicate. In that, the story line was true to life.

For readers who look for quality ménage descriptions, actions and variety of sensual pleasures, Ms. Harlem delivers. The Glass Knot isn’t a story about sex with little reason; it’s a story that gives a reason for the sex. It’s the best one – love. Josh, Nick and Laura do explore their budding love in all ways physical but in each encounter a reader sees their bonds and connection grow and strengthen. That is when passionate and explicit love works – when the emotions are truly involved and the reader is vested in those emotions. Ms. Harlem was effective in capturing that and sharing it with her readers.

The Glass Knot is everything an erotic romance should be. Readers are getting a treat when they choose this book because the story and romance is solid. I’m glad I read it and credit Ms. Harlem for providing me a wonderful reading experience.

Venice – Two people, a shed load of baggage and a way forward that takes extreme to new limits.

In an explosion of clarity, the mist cleared and I understood what my lascivious teacher, Zara, really was beneath the surface. I couldn’t see her beautiful core. Like a dank fog warning off poor unfortunates who wandered her way, she wouldn’t let the darkness lift, refused to light the way. But she gave me a key. It was small, stiff, and I was afraid of what I’d find if I turned it. But I did. I couldn’t resist. She did that to me.

It prevents blood clotting and improves the circulation of blood to the male penis, this medical condition is viagra price canada known as hyperglycemia. Sexual arousal causes the release of chemicals cialis price in india that are known to affect the body and its functions. In a tumble of truths, I understood her bleak voids and why she filled them with sharp slicing reds and hostile bruising purples. What had happened, what they’d done had bled her of colour and created a woman who needed so much more and always would—for all of time. But I could give her back that vibrancy, I was sure I could; my colours complimented hers and I had plenty of them. My needs could switch to take her to those grey places she needed to visit again in order to obliterate the memories that caused her pain. In the space they’d occupied, I’d create a pile of shimmering, perfectly cut-diamond memories, a rainbow cloud of sugar mist to replace that dankness. I could do it; I would help her become more beautiful than anything I’d seen before.

And within that new, delicate ‘thing’ was us. Victor and Zara. Unconventional, extreme, romantic, we spanned every shimmering stroke of the rainbow and all the coal-black shadows on the way down to Hell. But together we could fight demons. I would be her knight in shining armour even if it pushed me to the very limits of what I ever believed I could do to a woman. And what thrilled me, was if I bared my soul, found the courage to be a monster as well as an angel, I had a very real chance of making her mine—or did I? Because the only thing predictable about Zara, was that she was completely unpredictable.

Victor Partridge and Zara Watson are together once again and doing a test run of their new, ever-changing relationship with a weekend in Venice. Victor thought they could try to explore the more loving side of their relationship, to see if there could be a balance, but he didn’t expect for Zara to start opening herself so fully to him. Zara has never been anything other than a handful, a changeable, marvelous force of nature, and now is no different. The roller coaster continues, a beautiful hue of colors that defy description. Both Victor and Zara are determined to see if they can come together and make something perfect out of what has held such promise and potential.

Once again I’m blown away, not just be the plot and writing but with how amazing all the facets of this book come together. Victor and Zara are just as complex and multi-layered as ever, but finally we’re under all those exterior layers people naturally have and I’m seeing their true hearts and souls. Zara begins to open herself to Victor, to really tell him about herself. I found this helped me see how she ticks and what I read was amazing and devastating at the same time. This is no ordinary romance novel and I’d not have it any other way. This book makes you gasp for breath, ignore real life going on around you and devour every page to see what happens next. Zara has been incredibly hurt in her past, and with Victor’s gentle support together they face some of her demons. This makes for some heart-rendering scenes – both tender and provocative, and some of these experiences will not be for everyone.

This is not a traditional book or even like others I’ve read which push some boundaries. One scene in particular includes play-acting, collaring and pretending to be an animal and might shock some readers. Throughout the entire trilogy however, I’ve found every envelope-pushing scene to be written with excruciating care and taste. Never once have I felt revolted or as if the characters were being derogatory or abused – but others might not feel the same and there are a number of taboos breeched throughout this book: particularly fisting and body fluid scenes. Personally, I found the whole book (taboos and all) wonderfully written and even when I wanted to look away, or take a break, I simultaneously needed to read further, the strength of that being more than my desire to step back. And *that* is skillful writing to my mind. As a reader our questions about Zara are answered, the authors have laid her bare and so much of her is left still wonderfully complex, but now understandable as well. Victor is a sweetheart, and while I’ve adored his character from the start, his strength, his inner emotional power and his deep love for Zara just makes him even more amazing in my eyes. This book is not the ending (or solidifying) of Zara and Victor, but the first steps of what I know will be a life-long wild ride for them both together. While I’d always want more, I can’t imagine other readers not being satisfied with the way Harlem Dae have wrapped this series up.

Much like Book 2 – The Player – I believe if you picked this up not knowing it was the final in a trilogy you could still thoroughly enjoy Zara and Victor’s story and follow along as they solidify their relationship. However the story is far richer from being there from their beginning and I feel to truly enjoy it as it’s meant, reading this trilogy in order is needed. The complexities of their characters, the million strong threads binding them and creating who and what they are can only (in my opinion) be fully understood and appreciated having read these books in order. This story, The Vixen, is complete in itself though and stands perfectly well alone, but I would strongly recommend starting at the start and working through these in order.

A brilliant end to an amazing trilogy, I’d recommend this series for anyone wanting a deeply complex, incredibly intense read that pushes the envelope further and with more taste than many others. I’d suggest readers – particularly those wanting to expand their literary horizons – try this, but read the various warnings carefully, as there are many scenes that are not commonly touched upon.

In the end though, these authors write everything with style, care and such talent I’m pleased to have these additions on my shelves and know I’ll read them again in the future. Not a comfortable book (or series), this nevertheless balances perfectly between too much and not quite enough. I can’t imagine anyone reading it and not wanting more, so amazing is the mix of characters, plot, kink and emotion. A marvelous read that took me to dizzying highs and terrifying lows and a series I can strongly recommend to everyone willing to step on board for the ride of a lifetime.

He commands her body…but can he win her heart?

Who knew one little disc could cause so much trouble? Certainly not Rena, until the disc in question—the one in which she lives out every sexual fantasy she’s ever had, including a few inspired by her crush, Captain Drogan Carter—falls into the wrong hands. Drogan’s. Rena is desperate to get it back—she can’t let him know all her darkest, dirtiest secrets…

When Drogan finds the disc and watches the very private contents, his first feeling is guilt. But that guilt soon turns to a raw, sexual need to have the wanton, carefree Rena in his bed. He knows she’ll never come to him willingly, but once he gets her, he’ll have plenty of time to win her over, and to prove to her that reality can be so much better than fantasy. But first he needs a plan, a way to get her right where he wants her: at his command.

In a study, it was observed that more than 70% of the anxiety patients were having the erection problems. buy generic viagra Acute complications of the disease can include diabetic ketoacidosis, nonketotic hyperosmolar coma, or death. http://deeprootsmag.org/2013/10/17/shes-got-hand/ buying sildenafil online These massages are not as deeprootsmag.org cialis no prescription effective as chiropractic massage therapy. This story delves into what lengths people will go to just to scratch an itch that just won’t go away. Neither knows what the other feels or thinks so they go round and round with fantasies and what-ifs but they never actually talk to each other about how they feel. The explosion was quite fun to watch unfold.

There is a very solid reason why they can’t reveal the truth. Both Drogan and Rena are sticklers for the rules and regulations of their jobs. That causes no end of issues. They both respect each other, and are very very careful not to do or say anything that might be misconstrued. Because they are so good at what they do, neither of them knows that the other feels the same way. The author used their circumstances to effectively drive up the sexual tension to amazing levels. The way Ms. Illyria uses her imagination is so hot, she should have a neon warning sign somewhere over her head in a thought bubble with a caution statement about spontaneous combustion.

This author knows her way around writing a sex scene and in At Drogan’s Command, a reader has plenty of opportunities to enjoy the wishes and fantasies of both Drogan and Rena. Although it’s mentioned and hinted about more than two people having fun, the actual action remains just with the two of them. That was fine for me.

As well written and numerous as the physical scenes are, and most erotic romance readers will gobble up this book, I prefer more actual hero to heroine sex versus wishful thinking. Well, in Rena’s case, and this being a science fiction erotic fantasy, she has more than imagination to work with, which was quite interesting. I just felt those particular types of scenes rob the characters of emotional growth when there’s more alone time satisfaction versus a man and a woman actually doing the touching and exploring of each other. I sort of wished more time was actually spent with them together in reality. As it was, when they did finally reveal all and come together, the author wasted no time in making sure a reader was satisfied with their ultimate joining. The quality of writing is never in question.

There weren’t too many secondary characters of note except Jason. He was a plot instigator. The dialogue got the job done and it was through the characters internal dialogue that I was provided with most of the insight I gleaned about the main characters’ feelings for themselves and their circumstances.

On the whole, At Drogan’s Command is a sexy yarn that delivers a sensual tale with a satisfying happy ever after. If a reader is looking for a story that sizzles and pops, this book has the scenes to provide it. It’s light on drama but big on fun.

Sex slave to the tribe’s sworn enemy…

When Ishara, daughter of the mighty Oolani chieftain, is captured by an enemy tribe, she becomes a coveted war prize—a slave for the victorious Manahotchi chieftain, Mechan. She’s immediately drawn to his troubled past and to his large, strong body, and as his golden-skinned women prepare her for him, she’s introduced to pleasures she’s never known. But she refuses to submit to the man who destroyed her people. Even though he makes her burn with desire. Even though her body belongs to him.

Mechan will have her obedience, and will have her body too. But she’ll never heal the scars of the past. Until Mechan’s son plots to overthrow his father, and seeks to possess not only the tribe, but Ishara as well…

Is she a slave to the man or a slave to her own passions? That is the question Ishara must ask herself as each day she’s held captive, her feelings begin to change from hatred to sympathy and finally, adoration for the Manahotchi chief.

Ishara is used to the plush life of being the Oolani chieftain’s daughter. Her people love and respect her, and wait on her every need. Having been sheltered from the cruelty of war and slavery, she’s completely out of her element when she becomes the unwilling captive and sex slave of the Manahotchi tribe’s chief, Mechan. He’s an enemy to her people, and more specifically, her father. Ishara knows she should hate Mechan with every fiber of her being. And yet, despite his coarse treatment and moodiness, she begins to see a deep rooted pain in him the people of his own tribe don’t perceive. This proud chieftain carried a sorrow so deep, it had robbed him of his zest for life. Ishara struggles with wanting to rekindle the fire in his heart, but knows to even ponder such is a slight to her father and her tribe.

Mechan has no care for the spoils of war. But when his son presents him with the daughter of his enemy, he finds a long lost interest suddenly piqued. Painted gold, her naked and supple body moved with the grace and agility of a she-cat. With her long hair knotted in dreadlocks and her strange eye-color, Mechan finds himself drawn to this girl in ways he cares not to admit. She’s willful, stubborn, argumentative and questions him about things he doesn’t want to discuss. Yet, at the same time, her persistence, gentleness, and honesty begin to break through his stony heart.

The Chieftain’s Daughter initially starts out with a passive voice and not the bang I’d hoped for. I struggled for the first page or so as I attempted to overlook this and give the story a chance. Removing the repetitive use of “was” in favor of a more active tone would improve the beginning tremendously. However, the storyline itself intrigued me enough to continue reading. Maybe I’m just a sap for stories with women kidnapped by gorgeous ruffians bent on seduction, but I found myself eagerly reading this book, despite some of its flaws. There were places where the wrong form of words were used (hear vs. here); sex scenes that felt unnecessary, seemed uncharacteristic of the character, or just didn’t make much sense; and situations with inconsistencies. Things like this really stood out as I read, and yet I felt compelled to continue. This was one of those stories where I found myself thinking, “This is good. If only the author could tweak it a bit, it would be great.” If you like these sorts of stories, this is a good one and I can honestly say I enjoyed it.

There are scenes of forced seduction, domination, and attempted rape, so prospective readers should take note as those situations may be offensive to some. Ms. Rice does a nice job with character development and setting. I saw both Mechan and Ishara become better people because of their relationship with each other and their surrounding circumstances. The author does not overpitch secondary characters to the point that they hog the show. They interact and create just the right amount of tension and excitement to move the plot along and make it interesting. The ending is surprising and adds a nice touch to the fantasy aspect. With some improvement in passive vs. active writing and a little more editing, Ms. Rice could surely be an author to watch.

Complex characters that carry deep emotional scars in need of healing and an enjoyable plot line that invokes a gamut of reactions makes The Chieftain’s Daughter a worthwhile read.

Blistering desert days are nothing compared to the sizzling Sahara nights…

The life of a pampered, albeit practically tomboyish, heiress suits Diana Mayo just fine. She desires the freedom to go and do at will that which men take for granted. When the chance to fulfill a lifelong dream to travel the Sahara dessert presents itself she doesn’t hesitate. While she had no way of knowing what awaited her in the vast barren land, that too becomes one more exciting adventure.

Diana is instantly likable as the headstrong, self-sufficient English heiress. She clearly knows her place in the world and walks headlong into adventure. She impressed me with her level of self-confidence that left no room for doubt that she could make the trip across the desert as well as, if not better than, any man. What she does seem to lack, in the beginning, is the ability to consider people’s motives. It occurred to me pretty early into the book that this would ultimately be her downfall. She’s a bit self-absorbed but she isn’t vain in the least and is therefore quite surprised by the attention she garners from a certain nomadic sheik. When she finally hears his story, I was shocked right along with her to realize how much they actually have in common.

Ahmed Ben Hassan is the anti-hero of girlish romantic dreams. I pictured Oded Fahr (Ardeth Bay of the The Mummy movies) when I heard his voice. He’s purely alpha male and like Diana, he doesn’t lack in the self-confidence department, in the least. He knows what he wants and he simply takes it because he can. That’s it. That’s his reasoning and he sees no reason to defend it. At one point he even tells Diana “I can make any woman love me when I choose.” Conceited much? Nope. Convinced of his right to dictate. I had to laugh at one point in the book when it becomes evident to Ahmed that even though he is THE SHEIK, it’s a lowly, albeit beautiful, woman who holds power over him. He doesn’t take that realization very well. Readers who enjoy a good capture fantasy are going to swoon over this one. The controlled arrogance he exuded was as exhilarating to me as a reader as it was to Diana as his unwilling (for a time) captive.

Told in first person, this was a fantastic fit for retelling of a 1920’s classic but with bedroom door fully open. Ms. Vane’s writing voice is one that lends itself to being reminiscent of the writing style of E M Hull. I’ve read several of her other historicals and she never fails to entertain. One of the things that I liked particularly about reading this retelling is that I didn’t feel that I had missed out by not having read the original book. The writing is true to the time period for both the period setting of the book as well as for when the original book was published.

This book is for readers who want a strong heroine and an even stronger hero. The story pulled me in from the first page and (not quite as literally as Diana’s dilemma) held me captive. There wasn’t ever a doubt that this was a romance but from the way it begins I kept reading to see if and how a mystery would be solved and how Diana would make her way back to her desert lover. For those who look for exciting capture themed books with just a dash of bodice ripper fantasy, The Sheik Retold is a must read.

But can Lindsey change her impulsive ways and learn to value herself the way the Zach does?

Warnings: This title contains graphic language and extreme sexual situations as well as a girl with a slutty attitude bigger than Texas covering a haunted past, and a sweet, hot man in uniform dead set on rescuing her from herself.

This book is raw and emotionally all absorbing to read. It is disturbingly raw because of the subject matter it deals with–there is rape in this book. It is emotionally absorbing because the author’s writing brings the reader into the story and you relate to the main character completely. Be forewarned, this book deals with extreme promiscuity, non-consensual sex, and multiple partners. The subject matter will be difficult for some readers but the writing style of the author is impeccable and full of emotion.

Lindsey is rebelling to the abuse she suffered when she was twelve. As it typically happens, the victim feels dirty, tail spinning into self-punishment. Her behavior is obvious to anyone who would care to stop for a moment and face the facts. Unfortunately, adults who would rather not “see” the truth surround Lindsey and ignore the real reason for her promiscuity.

The romance with Zach is uplifting and healing. His love for Lindsey grows slowly in strength and healing quality. This is Lindsey’s salvation. Zach is able to show Lindsey what true love looks and feels like. He is her anchor and safe haven. This relationship is multi-racial and frowned upon by some. Zach is such an upright human being that you soon forget the multi-racial aspects of their relationship and grow to admire him for his integrity and devotion to Lindsey.

My only disappointment in this story was how the educational system and the teachers, principal, etc. were so blind to Lindsey’s problems. I realize that in a perfect world they should have been the ones to identify the issue, not exacerbate it. Perhaps the news during recent years of educators abusing children is what the author is trying to bring to our attention. I still hope that the predominance of good educators will outweigh this recent trend and the children will continue to be safe and looked after.

This book is not for the faint of heart. It is raw romance novel but with a double-edged blade. I was deeply moved and absorbed in this story. Great writing!

When Emma knocks a wolf unconscious with her car, she naturally takes it home with her to make sure it’s alright. By the time she gets home, the wolf is awake and as soon as she brings it inside, it transforms into a hot man, Kevin. He spends the night convincing her she is his mate.

The morning after Emma is horrified that Kevin claimed her without her permission … can Kevin convince her he’s the werewolf of her dreams?

Emma is frustrated her boss kept her back late at work, forcing her to drive through the oncoming snowstorm. On the icy road she accidently hits a grey wolf with her car, completing the crappy start to her weekend. Still, her nature to collect and rescue stray animals has her bringing the large wolf home with her to take care of him.

Before learning about the complications, let discount cialis canada us discuss some basics of impotence.
Let go of reality and logic and sink yourself into this sexy story. At first I struggled with Emma’s actions. Who brings an injured (but not bleeding or desperately hurt wolf) into their car and doesn’t restrain them? Or what kind of wolf wakes up in the back of a moving car with a human close by and doesn’t attack, growl or even raise his heckles? So there were a few logic points that had me wondering in the beginning. Very quickly though, Emma is shown the truth, that she hasn’t brought back a hurt wolf to her home, but a very handsome, horny werewolf. And this is where the steamy, sexy fun really begins.

While many of Emma’s reactions aren’t firmly realistic—like being more interested in jumping Kevin’s bones than wondering how a real, live werewolf actually existed and had fallen into her lap—the erotic sex scene, sensual fun and games she and Kevin play more than make up for that. I enjoyed how the author walked the fine line between animalistic pleasure and more tender sex. At first it was a little shocking to me how Kevin actually bit Emma in the heat of the moment. That’s more a vampire thing to my mind, not werewolf, but the author wrote it in good taste and I could see how the wolf side of Kevin was very strong and his aggressive attraction to Emma was legitimate and not some plot device.

I found this to be a short and very hot story, with an excellent erotic component. The world Ms Wren has created sounds very interesting and I enjoyed some of the snippets she showed us of the pack life and differences in her werewolves. I’d have enjoyed reading more of Emma and Kevin, especially to see how his pack takes her presence or what happens after her life has been so drastically changed, but this is a delicious teaser and I’d be interested to read more. A fun, sexy, quick read, I really enjoyed this.

‘I’d never set out to snag Mr Right but I’d veered so far off that track I was now at the mercy of Mr Dangerously Wrong…’

Betrayed by her lover, Natalie Lovell finds herself exploring the world of internet dating.

There are unlimited romantic places on this Earth, the viagra in the usa limiting factor is the distance, which gets ruled out if you have a vehicle. 4. All in all, avoid cheap pills and always look cialis de prescription for better treatment option. Now we have a clear approach towards dyslexia. sildenafil without prescription cheap levitra Acai berry can also help in improving the fertility. Then she meets a dark sexy stranger online who promises all the danger, excitement and dominance she craves. But how far will Natalie go to get the ultimate in thrills…?

Desire can be a dangerous thing, especially when it knocks all sense off course and satisfaction becomes the only goal. But occasionally in life, you just have to go for what you damn well want, grab it by the balls and hang on for the ride!

I let myself fall into the sumptuously written Thrill Seeker whilst lying on a sunny Spanish beach. Warmth and the artificialness of a week of no worries allowed me to drift to a shadowy place where seedy desires and dangerous wanting ruled in the harsh light of day. Did I regret that drift into a forbidden, dark and dangerous world? No way! Because Ms Lloyd makes it all okay to do so. I adored that about Thrill Seeker, the absolute ownership of the heroine’s kinky desires and her attitude of not having to gain permission or explain the reason for her lusty fantasies but to just go with what feels really-damn-good regardless of societies frowning face or the guilt that might knock at the door afterwards.

Thrill Seeker is edgy for sure, but when you pluck a Kristina Lloyd book off the shelf (or in my case download to Kindle) what do you expect? For me that’s the draw of this author, I love being taken to the periphery of what is both mine and the heroine’s comfort zone. Being in the heroine’s head and hearing her articulate her way down a complex path as she searches for the experiences she craves is both intimate and grounding. What I loved most about Natalie India was her absolute self-belief, she was on seriously dodgy territory more than a few times, my heart raced for her on occasion and I questioned her sanity more than once, not least I wondered what the hell her mother would say, but, ultimately she took control. In a world where submission can be seen as weak, this book throws that concept right out of the water. Submission, simply, is about power, and allowing another person to have that power, and the exchanges that ricochet around the pages in Natalie’s story kept me panting for more and breathless to see if her risk would pay off with the ultimate thrill. Her power was knife sharp, she also walked on a knife’s edge. I couldn’t stop reading…

There are three main men in Thrill Seeker, a shaky starting point for a lot of books unless the intention is a ménage; but these three guys, and to an extent the extra peripheral men too, create the sexual experiences and ‘right now’ that is the heroine’s moment. For me I found this very real; no one is made up of one sexual encounter, it is the sum total not the parts that creates a sexual history. And, despite being so different, I liked all the men, a lot, they each brought something vital to the structure of the novel, be it sweet, dangerous, painful or soul-aching, not one could have been omitted. What ever the reader’s ultimate thoughts are, Den, Liam and Baxter are key players in Natalie’s life and each so different and so in tune with the varied currents that float her boat that I adored them all. Obsession after all, is a powerful train to step aboard and I, for one, understood her reasons for buying that ticket!

I’d hate to go into much more detail and spoil the absolute delight that is Thrill Seeker by revealing the plot, but suffice to say it won’t disappoint. If you like a leading lady who can jump up and shout about her desire then be forced to bend to the will of a dominant man go get yourself a copy of Thrill Seeker today and then make sure, like me, you have ample time to immerse yourself in the dirty, delightful goings-on in Saltbourne. You won’t be disappointed by this gloriously edgy 5* read!

Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff are star crossed lovers doomed to collide and drift apart due to their flawed and selfish natures. In reading Wuthering Nights, I was pleasantly surprised to find the original flavor of the book had not changed, but the additional erotic content held true to the time in history and the language used.  I loved Wuthering Heights in high school. I have watched the movies, sang the Kate Bush song over and over until I could recite it in my sleep and have read the book until its pages were worn and dog eared. So when I had the chance to read this new erotic version, I was mightily intrigued.

The spoiled and spirited Catherine was the girl I remembered. As I turned the pages, I had to marvel at just how seamless author I.J. Miller intertwined the erotic nature of this rewrite with the classic version of events. Cathy was a spiteful girl that sprang at bright and shiny new things like a magpie with a new coin. As she chooses Edgar over the brooding Heathcliff and tragedy takes its toll on everyone involved, I marveled at the depths of degradation that found their way into this tale, and that I was as riveted by it as I was.

Not only has I.J. Miller captured the essence of the original heartbreak of this book, he gave me many sleepless nights dreaming about Wuthering Heights and The Grange. Erotic, toe curling action interwoven with the story brought a new vibrancy to this already well loved tale and now I can’t think of one without superimposing the other. This was no meek story that snored along like some erotic classics I have read in the past. Oh no. This one will have you clutching a bottle of ice water and gasping for air. The sex scenes are scorching and offer a deeper insight into the characters and their motivations. It is raw, visceral, full of psychological elements that delve deep into the minds of the characters and make you question your own reactions to what you are reading. Simply put, this is erotica for the intellectual.

Heathcliff’s character is true to form. He is a brute, through and through. I.J. Miller takes it up a notch and makes him a complete sexual dominant with a penchant for cruelty, unrestrained manipulation and dysfunctional lust. His dalliance with Nelly was a sultry awakening. His fixation on Catherine was an epic erotic adventure filled with domination, submission and a passion that would not die. I had always wondered about the things that happened behind the scenes and this novel gives us an unflinching look into the simmering darkness that is Heathcliff.

There are some dark points in the story worth mentioning. Dungeon scenes of questionable consent could be a trigger for some readers. Degradation that goes beyond the safe, sane and consensual BDSM that we see today is part of the dark side of Heathcliff that is both reprehensible and at the same time gave me the same kind of feeling I get when I watch a particularly graphic horror movie. I can’t stop watching, but it raises the hair on my arms. *shiver* There are some anal play scenarios that involve rimming and beyond that may offend some readers.

Romantic as well as cruel, this erotic retelling of Wuthering Heights is a beautiful and scorching hot erotic novel that will haunt my dreams and have me reaching for it again and again.
