Overall this was an enjoying read. There were some places I had to reread a sentence for it to make sense and some of the dialogue seemed too properly spoken for cowboys and a little unrealistic at times. These issues are just small things though, and nothing that kept me from enjoying the story.

It just is not Love’s style to let someone fight his battles or let someone hurt those he cares about.

This story is a must read. Love Sexy has made its way to my keeper shelf, and I plan on having my own marathon and reading all three stories so far in this series again (and again).

Even though Touching Ice is a part of series, everything is in the story that you need to know to enjoy it. The world-building was well written and the dialogue is fast paced. The scene at the beginning was a bit hard to follow but no less enjoyable.

Ms. Dohner has created a world with the Cyborg Seduction that isn’t always sunshine but dreams of having that one guy can be fulfilled in way beyond your wildest imaginings. Just beware when you pick up Touching Ice that you should be in a place where you can buy the rest of the novels in the series, because I was off to pick up the rest after I finished this book. I highly recommend picking up this book.

I know when I grab one of the Binary Stars books, I’m in for a good time. This edition is no exception. Jack Greene and Jade Falconer are expcted to write hot stories that ride the line. They didn’t disappoint. There’s a heavy dose of kink, a little heart, and lots of heat. The writing flows well and kept me right in my seat throughout. I had to know what would happen next and how the two stories fit together.

Prelude is original for me. I haven’t run into many stories concerning an online hook-up. The characters are both rough and saucy. Discovery…now this is a searingly steamy story. I liked the twists Jack Greene added to it to make it more interesting. I had no idea which way the story would go and had to see what would happen to Seth and Virgil. This is a story of recognizing a kink. I hadn’t thought of this plot for a book, but I really liked it because even when the kink goes to extremes, it’s done not out of fear, but out of enjoyment. Again, I’d love to have seen this as a longer story, but for a hot bite, it’s fantastic.

If you want a pair of short stories that will make you blush, squirm, and root for more, you need to read Prelude and Discovery.
