For today…

Now that she’s reunited with her sister, Tori Fuller doesn’t regret a moment of her life. But she’s never forgotten the guy who got away. Heart surgeon Sam McCormack is as sexy and irresistible as he was back in college…and ready to prove to the woman he’s always loved that it’s never too late to start over.…

Tomorrow…

Lauren Sutcliffe never expected her mother’s sixtieth birthday bash to lead to romance. But gorgeous Aussie builder Adam Hunter wants to stake his claim on the bossy, burned-by-love caterer. He wants to share all her tomorrows, if Lauren will just say yes!

And always!

David Longwood isn’t looking for love…until a family reunion throws him in the path of free spirit Kinsey McKeever. Suddenly the buttoned-down lawyer is rediscovering his passionate inner self and dreaming about forever after…with Kinsey.

Cape May, New Jersey sets the scene for three outstanding stories of reunion and love by authors Kasey Michaels, Sarah Mayberry and Teresa Southwick.

All Our Yesterdays by Casey Michaels begins this superb anthology about sisters Victoria Fuller and Margaret Mary Longwood who were separated as children when their parents died. Now, thanks to Tory’s daughter Allie, the girl’s birth father has been found and he wants to meet the daughter he never knew and the only woman he’s truly loved.

Heart surgeon Sam McCormack is as sexy and irresistible as he was back in college when the two lived together, but an unplanned pregnancy sent Tory on the run. How could she be responsible for ruining Sam’s high-flying plans to become a surgeon by saddling him with a baby?

Tory has come to Cape May to be reunited with her sister Peggy, a successful writer of children’s stories, but now incapacitated by both a broken foot and kidney disease. She can’t imagine Sam will see anything but the middle-aged woman she’s become, even though she finds him as handsome and thrilling as ever. Sam sees only the woman he loved…and still loves. Once he gets over his anger at her deception, can the man his staff thinks of as Dr. Hottie forgive the past and accept a future that includes a daughter and grandchildren?

All Our Todays by Sarah Mayberry continues the reunion of sisters Tory and Peggy but focuses on Peggy’s daughter Lauren Sutcliffe, a forty-year-old bossy, divorced caterer who’s busily preparing a smashing sixtieth birthday celebration for her mother that includes a family reunion. Included in the invitations is one to the sisters deceased brother’s partner, builder Adam Hunter.

By the time Allie had reunited Tory and Peggy, they’d discovered their baby brother had died in Australia, but they invited his business partner to join the celebration and tell them what he knew of their long lost brother.

Adam arrives at the beachfront Longwood home a week before the celebration. Nevertheless, sparks fly between the two. Not wanting to be a burden, Adam makes plans to stay at a B & B in town but is persuaded by Laurie to come back to the house because it means so much to her mother. Before long Laurie is more than intrigued by the gorgeous Aussie, but how could they have a relationship when they live half a world apart?

All Our Tomorrows by Teresa Southwick continues the family reunion/birthday celebration theme, this time focusing on Laurie’s brother David, a successful attorney who seems to be missing out on life. Once a carefree young man and the hero of a series of children’s books, Davy daring has been replaced by a buttoned-down man both too sad and too serious.

Peggy’s physical therapist, Kinney McKeever is an exact opposite of staid David. She fun-loving, sassy and spontaneous…and she loves David. But how can she compete when David constantly reminds her that she’s an orphan with a history of rejections. Is she brave enough to take a chance? Can David learn to follow his heart?

I loved this anthology. Each story built on the previous one and the authors skillfully created a family you wanted to cheer for. The transitions were seamless, the writing outstanding. I empathized with Tory and Laurie, felt saddened by Kinney’s unhappy childhood and rooted for them to find a way to happiness. This is a feel-good book that will put a smile on your face and make you reach for a hanky as well. It’s been a long time since I’ve read a better anthology, and I have to say I liked each story equally well. As a whole, the book was superb.

Naomi West was plucked from one prison and placed undercover in another: the gilded cage that is Timeless, New Seattle’s premier spa and resort, where owner Phinneas Clarke—the most seductive man Naomi has ever met—may be hiding a killer. She’s an agent of the Holy Order, trained to hunt the guilty and render justice. But while she’s tracking down a rogue agent on a killing spree, Phin is determined to uncover her most damning—and dangerous—secrets. Whatever the cost.

Most people would be thrilled to be a part of a fancy spa. Especially when the spa is not coming out of their own pocket money-wise. But not Naomi. In fact, she’d almost have to say that’s a worse fate than prison itself. It’s part of her job, though, and she can’t really refuse. So this not so ladylike woman gets all dolled up and enters the world of luxury and rich people. Totally not her thing!

Naomi is the kind of woman you don’t want to anger, or confront in a dark alley at night. She’s a “kick butt and take names” kind of gal. She’s sassy, snarky, and tough. However, the problem becomes trickier if the cause is identified then the specific cause is then generic levitra uk treated and answered by. But really, underneath the rough exterior she wears, there’s a hurt woman deep inside….not that she’s going to tell that to anyone, but as the book goes on, I noticed that. There’s a bit of a soft spot underneath her sarcasm and sharp tongue, especially when it comes to Phinneas Clarke, the man whose family owns and runs Timeless.

Phin is a phenomenal hero, one that matches Naomi’s wits. There is so much he doesn’t know about Naomi, yet he’s completely smitten with her, despite the way she pushes him away and denies attraction to him. He also knows that she doesn’t seem very comfortable or fit in at the spa. Talk about a woman that’s all wound up!

In this dazzling book from Karina Cooper, I found an absolute gem. This books has twists and turns that kept me reading late at night when I really should have been catching up on sleep. The world this author creates, blending the paranormal into a contemporary setting has me begging for more. It’s hot, wit, and just full of fun. Keep your eye on this author, I have a feeling with books like this, she’s going to be around for a long time!

From the Design Book of Marcelline Noirot:

The allure of the perfect gown should be twofold:
ladies would die to wear it . . .
and gentlemen would kill to remove it!

Brilliant and ambitious dressmaker Marcelline Noirot is London’s rising star. And who better to benefit from her talent than the worst-dressed lady in the ton, the Duke of Clevedon’s intended bride? Winning the future duchess’s patronage means prestige and fortune for Marcelline and her sisters. To get to the lady, though, Marcelline must win over Clevedon, whose standards are as high as his morals are . . . not.

The prize seems well worth the risk—but this time Marcelline’s met her match. Clevedon can design a seduction as irresistible as her dresses; and what begins as a flicker of desire between two of the most passionately stubborn charmers in London soon ignites into a delicious inferno . . . and a blazing scandal.

And now both their futures hang by an exquisite thread of silk . . .

A breath-holding air of expectancy ripples through Silk is for Seduction. Like the subtle whisper of silk brushing against a trouser leg, the hum of sexual tension charges the atmosphere around Marcelline Noirot and the Duke of Clevedon.

The Duke, known as a seducer of only the crème de la crème of aristocratic beauties, gets blindsided by “of all things” a dressmaker, albeit a dressmaker that turns heads and snarls traffic during Passion Week in Paris. Jaded and knowing he must return to England and take up his responsibilities as Duke, Clevedon finds he is fascinated by the plain-spoken, beautiful, gambling businesswoman who is in Paris to promote her dress shop in London, even though she is the most aggravating woman he has ever met.

The Noirot sisters: Marcelline, Leonie, and Sophy as well as six-year-old Lucie are born manipulators and hone that talent regularly. Sophy does public relations and writes enticing advertising, while Marcelline designs out-of-this-world clothing for ladies and brings in business in a most unique manner.

Marcelline’s primary mission in Paris is to snare the Duke’s attention so he will want the Noirot Shop to dress his duchess—supposedly Lady Clara Warford who has waited patiently in England while Clevedon sowed his wild oats all over the continent. He has bedded the “best” but finds Marcelline’s grace, beauty, and style unforgettable. She is a tempestuous masterpiece who tells him upfront her intent is mercenary. She runs a business to support her family and has no designs on him other than to lighten his pocketbook as he pays for his duchess’s style-setting attire from the Noirot Shop. She even tells him that he has no purpose in life. He just drifts along looking for entertainment. Yet, in her heart she feels he is not a “mean-spirited” man.

The stir and magic they create, the delightful humor, and the guessing of who is “outfoxing” whom swirls the reader along through the pitfalls of Paris and London Society, churns up the stomach with a savage sea storm, and makes adrenaline pump with a thief and a fire. However, the bond that forms and binds Marcelline and the Duke is the centerpiece of the story. There is nothing boring about these two special people that ultimately unleash the best in each other.

The secondary characters function for the most part to highlight the hero and heroine. However, the indomitable little Lucie, aka Erroll, wraps everyone around her little finger, more especially the Duke of Clevedon. She brings out the very best in him and awakens true feelings that had be crammed deep down ever since the death of his mother and sister. Lucie is indeed a little minx—a chip off the old block. With her beautiful blue eyes, she charms in such a manner that she just might be a princess.

Loretta Chases descriptions, metaphors, and characterizations make the story sparkle and her love scenes are earth-shattering. I invite you to read and see how silk seduces–exciting.

A warrior, a demon, and the girl next door… Looking For Trouble

Addy Corwin is a florist with an attitude. A bad attitude, or so her mama says, ‘cause she’s not looking for a man. Mama’s wrong. Addy has looked. There’s just not much to choose from in Hannah, her small Alabama hometown. Until Brand Dalvahni shows up, a supernaturally sexy, breathtakingly well-built hunk of a warrior from—well, not from around here, that’s for sure. Mama thinks he might be European or maybe even a Yankee. Brand says he’s from another dimension.

Addy couldn’t care less where he’s from. He’s gorgeous. Serious muscles. Disturbing green eyes. Brand really gets her going. Too bad he’s a whack job. Says he’s come to rescue her from a demon. Puh-lease. But right after Brand shows up, strange things start to happen. Dogs talk and reanimated corpses stalk the quite streets of Hannah. Her mortal enemy Meredith, otherwise known as the Death Starr, breaks out in a severe and inexplicable case of butt boils. Addy might not know what’s going on, but she definitely wants a certain sexy demon hunter by her side when it all goes down…

She was just trying to retrieve her run away dog; she didn’t intend to run into a demon and a ten thousand year old Dalvahni warrior!

This author writes a paranormal romance novel that is outstanding. She creates Addy, a southern girl that knows all the rules for proper behavior and has a mother that thinks she should get married. generic levitra from canada One can experience a total inability to achieve an erection or one who cannot sustain an erection for long. These women are just looking for a super antioxidant then you don’t need to think twice as you are super generic viagra pushing yourself to a terrible world. Filagra is more popular among people cialis viagra australia for the quick and safe treatment of impotence. That is why the generic medicine has been invented by a British scientist and marketed by the viagra 50mg canada US based company Pfizer. Ms. George’s style reads a bit like Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum. Addy is an independent lady who says outrageous things and made me laugh out loud while reading it. There are more synonyms for penis in this book than I have ever seen elsewhere. And when the wife and the mistress have a fight at the funeral of a horny old man, the action is just getting started.

There are two warriors, a lot more demons, and characters with unusual abilities to know when company is coming or seeing demons and fairies. Ms. George makes her warriors godlike in both abilities and looks, and Addy and her friend Evie find themselves loving them and wanting them. Oh, there’s a talking dog, too, as well as a cat fairy.

The action is hot and heavy, both in the bedroom and while fighting demons. The conversations are unforgettable. Addy’s warrior, Brand, always answers questions literally, which is not a good thing when he’s visiting with her mother…

This book grabbed me in the first few pages, and I didn’t want to set it down. There is so much action, so many silly doings, great warrior action and rampant sex. It’s all great fun. I mean, after all, how many times does the lead female character get to give her sworn mortal enemy pimples on her butt?

If you enjoy silly madcap humor and a good love story, this book is for you. I just wish one of these warriors would show up and fall in love with me.

Also, I smell another story coming. Evie’s love interest has gone back to his world and his work and won’t be a weakened patsy like Brand, but he seems to be feeling lonely. I’d love to go visit these characters one more time. Can’t wait.

What’s a girl to do when meeting The One means she’s cursed to die a horrible death?

Life hasn’t been easy on sixteen-year-old Emma Conner, so a new start in New York may be just the change she needs. But the posh Upper East Side prep school she has to attend? Not so much. Friendly faces are few and far between, except for one that she’s irresistibly drawn to—Brendan Salinger, the guy with the rock-star good looks and the richest kid in school, who might just be her very own white knight.

But even when Brendan inexplicably turns cold, Emma can’t stop staring. Ever since she laid eyes on him, strange things have been happening. Streetlamps go out wherever she walks, and Emma’s been having the oddest dreams: visions of herself in past lives—visions that warn her to stay away from Brendan. Or else.

Remember that first love? That first feeling of infatuation where you couldn’t wait to see him, hear him speak or just simply look at you? When it seemed like your entire life depended on him noticing you? What if that guy really was as perfect as you thought he was and he turned out to be your soul mate?

Emma Connor hasn’t had an easy life when her Great-Aunt/Godmother rescues her and brings her to live with her in New York. In New York she has to attend an exclusive, private school. In the first days of school we meet quite a few stereo-typical teens: the snobby jock that is full of himself and thinks every girl should want him; the hot, sexy, yet elusive, bad boy; the outcast; the popular, snobby girl that thinks she makes the rules for everyone; even the closeted homosexual friend.

Emma is determined to remain under the radar until she meets Brendan (the bad boy), with whom she feels an immediate connection. But Brendan runs hot and cold, leaving her to wonder if she’s imagining things. In the meantime she has to contend with the vicious Kristen, who has decided that she doesn’t like her and proceeds to try to ruin her at the school. Things aren’t all bad though. She makes friends with Cisco and Angelique and eventually Brendan decides to stop fighting the attraction.

It could just be because I was recently watching old episodes of My So Called Life but this book reminded me of the series. It was like watching an entire season all wrapped up in one book. Substitute the public school with a private one, Rayanne with Angelique, Jordan Catalano with Brendan, throw in some magic and there ya go!

The paranormal aspects of this book don’t play a huge part, but it is an integral part of the story and is very interesting. Before knowing anything about Kamagra, you should be absolutely free from the confusion of going with any other anti-impotency solution and should rather stick to this tadalafil side effects pattern for an effective remedy and rescue. We get the history of the soul mates as Emma discovers it herself. It is a fun and intriguing plotline, and not something that you see often in the context that Spellbound places it.

Secondary characters were interesting and played a vital role in the story although I do wish that we could have gotten to know a couple of them a bit better. Based on an excerpt at the very end though, it seems like we may get to know Angelique better sometime in the future. There is one character that we see a lot of in the beginning of the book that all but disappears by the end, leaving you wondering what happens to her.

There is an issue with a friend drinking that is mentioned but never fully explored, leaving me wondering what the point of it was. I absolutely love that Emma, while insecure in some ways, is not afraid to stand up for what she thinks is right and refuses to back down from the bullies. Everything is well paced – nothing seems to happen too fast. Especially in the world of teens, where everything happens in the now and the future seems like a distant prize. The end is wrapped up quite nicely and doesn’t leaving you hanging after the climactic scene with a short little two page epilogue as many do, which I loved. Though it would have been nice to see what happens with the character of Kristen, which isn’t addressed.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable book. One that once I started it, I couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend checking this book out. If you enjoy Young Adult books, you won’t regret it, I promise.

Recently divorced, Anna Fox decides to cheer herself up by retracing a journey that her great-grandmother, Louisa, made in the mid-nineteenth century from Luxor to the Valley of Kings on a Nile cruise. Anna carries with her two of Louisa’s possessions: an ancient Egyptian scent bottle and an illustrated diary of the original cruise that has laid unread for more than a hundred years. Meanwhile, two men from the tour party begin to develop an unfriendly rivalry for her attention and a disturbing interest in Louisa’s mementos. As she follows in Louisa’s footsteps, Anna discovers a wonderful love story from the Victorian past, along with chilling secrets and terrifying specters that haunted her great-grandmother—and will soon begin to pursue her, too.

Anna Fox is recently divorced and free from her controlling husband, but she doesn’t know what to do with herself. Her aunt suggests she retrace a Nile cruise her great-grandmother had taken years before. She says yes, but doesn’t realize just what awaits her in Egypt…

Ms. Erskine writes a very solid novel. Every word she uses is there for a purpose and she weaves pictures of Egypt and its scenery, imbues you with a sense of danger, and makes you wonder if anyone is safe on this journey. Her plot is well thought out with lots of nooks and crannies for secrets to hide in. And she uses the diary from the past for good effect in this cruise in the contemporary time period. When Anna gets on the plane to go to Egypt, she meets her first odd character. He’s not the least bit friendly or even socialable sitting next to her. But he has interest in her great grandmother’s diary…

The author starts Anna out as a shy type after years of her husband controlling her and telling her what was appropriate for her life as his wife. As the cruise continues, she runs into other men of this type, but she starts to come out of her shell and lets them know she won’t be treated that way. By the end of the story, after fighting gods and attempting to keep her artifacts from being stolen, Anna is returning to a woman with full confidence that can make her own decisions. The transition is fun to read about.

All the characters in the “diary” and in the current day are believable and strong. The gods follow the traditional legends and are just as nasty as they were in those stories. It’s full bodied story with lots of twists and turns that holds your attention until the last page.

I especially enjoyed the Egyptian lore and the visit to the country. Why not get yourself a copy of this book and go on a Nile cruise, too?

When Chelsea is snatched from her home, can she put aside her fear, and trust Trey with her life? Can she forgive him for destroying her past and let him help to rebuild her future?

Where one journey ends, another begins…

Every year when Chelsea visited her husband’s grave on the anniversary of his death, she sees a man standing in the distance like he was grieving, too. Who was he and how did he know her husband?

Ms. Hiers takes a basic plot and breathes life into it by providing links to the present from the past and throwing in conflict, sexual tension and danger in good quantities. The story is believable, the two main characters are honest and honorable, and a boy’s life is at stake as well as Chelsea’s. The conversations flow well, her characters act like real people do, and the action is intense throughout the entire story.

Chelsea is conflicted about wanting to protect the boy and wanting to get rid of the marshals. Trey is assigned to protect her and his partner takes the boy to a safe house. Chelsea and Trey both have issues from the past and don’t want to be involved, but the attraction is certainly there. The banter between two stubborn people who think they know best is entertaining.

This is a Christian themed story and there are Biblical references thrown in at moments of crisis or when the characters are trying to make big decisions. There were situations in this story where I think praying absolutely made sense, and wasn’t intrusive.

I enjoyed this read. I just kept turning pages to see what was going to happen next. You’re not sure how things will end up until you get to the end of the story, and that makes it fun to read.

When she finds herself hijacked to another dimension by mistake, she wants to find Mark who vanished in front of her eyes. I really enjoyed the banter between her and the other main female character, Chloe. Chloe wants her to sign a “hold harmless” agreement with a silence clause and go home, but Stevie isn’t willing.

With humans having too much interest in Chloe and her non-earth friends, there is plenty of occasion for humor and good fun. The story is enjoyable, the characters are interesting and strong in personalities, and you learn how that world works through Stevie’s eyes.

The author does a very good job of fleshing her world out and getting you interested in her characters. The story moves right along and each page adds another puzzle for the characters to resolve.

If you like fantasy and using your imagination, you’ll love this story. And the best news? I’m pretty sure Stevie will be back again in another book in this series. I hope to read more about this character and this world. Why not “taste” it for yourself?

He opened his home. She stole his heart…and his money.

Many would envy veterinarian Russ Gray’s life in rural Montana’s wide-open spaces. Russ calls it lonely. In a country with more cattle than eligible females, he doesn’t envision his seven years as a widower ending anytime soon. Until a mysterious woman lands at his door in the dead of night, riddled with buckshot.

Sarah Novak hates lying to such a kind, handsome man, but if an upstanding citizen like Russ finds out why she’s been three weeks on the run, he’d surely turn her in. Yet she can’t refuse his offer to let her stay until she heals, no questions asked.

From the start they fall into an easy companionship, then teasing flirtation flares into an unexpected intimate connection. But no matter how right it feels in his arms, guilt tugs at Sarah’s heart. Russ doesn’t deserve what she must do next.

When Russ wakes up with an empty bed—and an empty wallet—his first instinct isn’t to call the cops…it’s to catch her and find out why his urge to protect her overshadows all reason. Because he’s had a taste of real passion, and he’s not letting it slip away without a fight.

On the run from a crime of self-defense, Sarah Novak arrives in the dead of night at Russ Gray’s remote Montana property, riddled with buckshot and short on answers. Despite his misgivings, the kind, hunky vet treats her wounds and allows to let her stay until she heals. But will the attraction that flares between them be enough to allow trust to build? Russ hopes so, but when he awakens to find “Nicole” and his money gone, anger drives his emotions.

Sarah has been on the run from her home in Buffalo for three weeks—a harrowing time when she’s hitchhiked, been threatened at knifepoint and shot at by a rancher. Exhausted, she arrives on veterinarian Russ Gray’s doorstep in need of medical attention, rest and food. Using the assumed name Nicole, Sarah isn’t about to give out many answers. Ms. Maguire has crafted a strong story with truly likable characters, and she has a knack for plumbing the depths of their souls. I’m not a fan of gratuitous sex, but the sex scenes in Trespass were appropriate to the characters and the story, and if you like them spicy, then this is the book for you!

Russ has been a widower seven years, and he’s lonely but never expected to find a woman in the remote Montana ranch country. He’s locked in the past, living in a seventies house with now prospects for a future other than treating farm animals in the community. Enter Sarah, a big city girl, and almost his exact opposite. Yet the attraction between them sizzles, and Sarah, who has escaped from a bad environment and a bad childhood, recognizes the decency in Russ. She wants to stay for as long as he will have her.

I felt both Sarah’s and Russ’ motivations were in keeping with their characters. Ms. Maguire did an excellent job of reeling me in and keeping me interested in the outcome.

Trespass is beautifully written, a powerful drama that will stay with you. I won’t reveal the ending, but be ready to shed some happy tears.
