On her way to go stay near her best friend, Nia drives through the night and is surprised when she’s pulled over by police officers. Tired and confused it takes her a while to realise the man who comes to help her is going to take his new responsibility very seriously.

I haven’t read many stories about Daddy kink yet but this was an interesting and fast paced short story. I really enjoyed the set up of how Nia and Travis met and found it refreshing and different enough it didn’t come across as forced or cliched to me. I also was pleased the author gave a fair bit of time in the story for Nia and Travis to spend together to get to know each other. In a number of ways Nia was in quite a vulnerable position and was trying hard to be self-sufficient and independent. While it would have been easy for Travis to be dominant and take over a lot of Nia’s life she wasn’t portrayed in the story as really wanting that and so them getting to know each other and allow the relationship to develop more naturally felt both more romantic but also a lot more realistic to me.

I was really pleased Travis and Nia took this extra time but I was a little disappointed a lot of this happened “off screen” and we didn’t get to see too much of it. With the short length of the story I sortof understand this – particularly since there was a fair bit of other plot happening around Nia getting settled in her new town, and her abusive brother chasing after her – but Travis and Nia’s relationship was quite central to my mind and it would have been nice to see them learning more about each other and starting this new relationship.

Readers who like some steamy sex should be satisfied with this story. While there is a bit of daddy-kink, Travis and Nia start out a little more vanilla and traditional and I feel this should really suit readers who aren’t too sure about this new genre of erotica. I feel this story is a good way to dip your toe in and the story didn’t feel to me like it was too hard core.

With some interesting plot, strong characters and a few well-written supporting characters this is a great, quick read and one I enjoyed.

Now, she has to survive. But how is she supposed to do that on her own? And how can she ever trust her heart again when all it wants is the Shadow Demon she can never have?

I don’t think the blurb does this novella justice. It’s true that Lamb, the heroine, stumbles into the middle of a corporate war, or that her brains, intellect and performance in college got her a dream job at the wrong moment in time, but Lamb has a strength to her personality that the blurb doesn’t credit. This is truly Lamb’s story. The tale is told in third person POV from Lamb’s perspective. The author did a wonderful job of writing – even though the heroine doesn’t know everything the hero is thinking, she overhears things, or people share things with her that allow a reader to find out what they want to know without head hopping or telling. It’s through dialogue and observations made by the heroine. It’s a complete picture and I appreciated that.

Lamb’s character is reflective of the current times. It’s not unheard of for a single woman to enjoy the physical side of a fling while on vacation in a sunny clime. The author explores that path with the heroine because it’s key to a plot point later on. The author provides a reader with hints that Lamb picks up on, but she doesn’t recognize the gravity of what they mean, until much, much later.

Azriel, the hero, is rich, smart, alpha, and up to something. Lamb is suspicious but after her other experience, she’s viewing her growing attachment and possible relationship with Azriel a little differently. As well she should, because the hero is like no man she’s ever known. Any similarities between the two main men in the story are surface only. Ms. Karland draws a picture of the other guy so clearly, it’s easy to believe he’s a bad man in the making. Again, just how bad is shown later on when Lamb finally has all the info she needs to know which one is the hero, and which one’s not. She’d probably pass on that scene if she could, it was quite intense.

I wanted to give this novella a higher rating because the tale is fascinating, the writing is tight where it needs to be and I enjoyed the sparks that fly between Azriel and Lamb. What made me stumble was my confusion. I recognize some names from previous stories, but that’s all they were, names, names that I felt were thrown in for effect. The other guy that pops up from time to time also startled me. What was his role? It was so tiny that it seems if he were to be cut from the story, it wouldn’t have mattered. Maybe I missed something? I do remember him playing a role in other stories, but they were important and vital to plot movements in them. But, for this novella? I don’t know, but it caused me confusion and it broke up the flow of the story, which for the most part, was otherwise quite good.

Now, this book being of the graphic relationship kind – with the bedroom door practically off its hinges, readers looking for those scenes will find them in all their spicy glory. The variety of antics should provide something for everyone.

All in all, Demon’s Little Lamb is a good read, has plenty to offer readers of the hot-off-the-charts variety of stories, and the romance between Azriel and Lamb, though a bit rocky because of the plot conflict, (which was well done) was enjoyable and entertaining. I had fun reading this novella.

He’s big. All alpha. But more importantly, the first time I see him in person, the moment our lips touch, I know he’s going to be mine. I might have been the princess of the Dixie Reapers, but I was meant to be his queen.

And secondly, trouble is on her heels. The punk who thinks he can take what’s mine is easily dealt with, but going toe to toe with Torch and Casper VanHorne is enough to leave any man shaking in his boots.

Good thing I’m not just any man. I’m Beast. President of the Reckless Kings MC. And I’m the man who’s going to claim Lyssa, even if I have to knock her up to do it.

Ms. Wylde knows how to balance all the important elements of drama, romance, and the intricacies that make reading MC romances so addicting. Yes, the bedroom door is wide open in panorama vision, so-to-speak, with the addition of toys and other paraphernalia that make this hot level of romance go supernova. The story opens up with a heady dose of urgency with guns drawn and alpha males in protective mode. The excitement keeps building from there.

I really liked meeting Lyssa and I agree she’s perfect for Beast, the hero. And he certainly did earn his label of hero. Lyssa is from the Dixie Reapers and I have read quite a few of those stories so it was a treat to see her have her own. She proved that she is a confident, strong woman who knows exactly how to deal with Prospects who aren’t up to snuff.

There is a level of violence that is to be expected in an MC romance. I sometimes find it unrealistic to believe that anyone headed ‘for a shallow grave’, won’t ever be missed and that it’s that easy to get rid of Prospects with criminal intent, or even villains. Somehow, that Old West mentality can’t survive under the scrutiny of the 21st Century. I think that’s the only over-the-top, unrealistic element in the story. I’m not saying I don’t like it – it’s kind of nice to think that truly evil and twisted individuals get their permanent comeuppance, and the guys in white hats (or are they dusty gray?) are so clever about it, they never get caught and everyone they love is now safe because of their preemptive, proactive actions. Sometimes, you have to get a little violent to get the street cred that makes people think twice. Fortunately, Lyssa’s grandfather has that level of respect in spades.

Beast was a fun read, provided great escapism, included a wonderful romance between Lyssa and Beast, and I was thoroughly entertained from beginning to end. For those that prefer volcanic bedroom action, be prepared to grab the ice tray because Ms. Wylde delivered.

This is a steamy and enjoyable quick read. While I admit the plotline is a little cliched and worn to me – older guy is in love with his little sister’s best friend but they’ve both been keeping their distance and waiting for each other – I felt the three main characters were refreshing and individual enough to make this a really fun and entertaining story to me.

Kaley was the typical young and shy book nerd – and I was extremely grateful the author didn’t just turn her from this sweet thing and into a sexy siren in the blink of an eye for no real reason except to steam up the storyline. Kaley was more multi-dimensional than just the usual “bookworm” character and this was really appealing to me. I also really liked the fact that Quinn was trying hard to give Kaley as much time and space as he could, but that there was a limit to how far he was willing to wait.

I was impressed that the author didn’t just have these two do a complete about face – jumping into the sheets and become kinky sex masters without any build up or reason behind it. The pace of Kaley and Quinn coming together was believable and I enjoyed the fact it was well detailed and explained – I felt it was really shown to me, not just told and I needed to accept it as such.

Finally, I was intrigued by some of Quinn’s other Navy SEAL team-mates and would be interested to see if Dorothy and one of them might feature in an upcoming story. I liked that the author left the door open for more stories potentially coming down the track and will be keeping an eye out for them.

Fun, sexy and with interesting characters this was a good short story.

Sold. When her father contracts her to the Galactic Breeding Program, Briar Perrault is forced to go to a planet in another galaxy to be mated with an alien she has never met, one who clearly is not excited about the prospect of a Human bride.

Axic Seven has spent his life serving his world’s military, accomplished and proud, and believes Humans are a necessary evil — perfect for procreation but otherwise weak and inane.

When Briar challenges those beliefs, Axic finds himself fascinated with her strength and humor. But will it be too late to win her heart by the time he realizes she is meant to be his happily ever after?

This is rather an interesting plot where women from Earth under the age of twenty-one have no rights and are controlled by the male figures in their life. Earth has a breeding program with many different planets as human women can conceive and birth children from many different species. They are considered more of a burden and obligation.
Driving not only makes you independent but it also boosts your confidence level. order cheap viagra The result is cheap viagra order a harder and a more frequent erection. This viagra cheap generic is a lifelong responsibility which can be really costly.
Briar and her sister Aurora were signed over to the breeding program by their father so he could pay for the medical bills for his wife who is dying from cancer. He also feels like they are more of a burden, being girls and not able to help with the farm chores. Selling a daughter to the program is very lucrative.

Neither woman has a say on where she is sent or whom she is supposed to marry. Both girls end up going to two different planets that seem to be the complete opposite of each other. Briar ends up on the world of Kyderari, where the men are built for war with implanted weapons, fast healing, long lifespans, and super speed. Their society is built around war and the more honors and wars they fight in gives them more honor and a chance for a wife. Unfortunately, there are not many women and their species are threatening to become extinct.

I Enjoyed the character of Briar. She is a sweet woman who has times of bravery and when she gives you her heart, she loves with everything she has. Everyone she meets, she ends up charming with her innocence and the ability to overlook anyone’s faults. She does not think of herself, which is one of her faults. I can’t blame her though as when she was growing up, she received mixed messages. Poor Briar feels like she is barely worth anything and so goes with the flow.

Axic has no desire to have a wife. He considers the humans to be a weak species and he lives for war. He has no idea what he should do with her while he is on missions. I do like one thing about their culture, woman rule their men who consider them a treasure and there is no cheating with another woman, it is also not allowed for another man to touch their wives. Axic becomes possessive about Briar, almost against his will. At first, he is cruel to her without realizing it, having accidently bruised her while taking her to his apartment. You want to smack him so many times during this story as he makes mistake after mistake, causing the scars that have been placed inside Briar since birth to become deeper.

Their romantic side of their relationship has a little joke going through it. She teaches him the euphuisms of baseball, like first base being kissing, second base being heavy petting etc. There is also when she tells him about the fairy tale of Sleeping Beauty where she gets her name, he cruelly tells her there is no such thing as Fairy Tales.

I do wish that Briar had been stronger and not quite so willing to let everyone rule her. She doesn’t confront Axic when he makes her cry or doesn’t understand what is going through his mind. Axic is a character who is hard to like at first and it does take a while for the reader to warm up to him. There are many times that I want to hit him over the head with a rolling pin. Maybe that would have made him understand that humans may be weaker than his species, but they have much more than to offer than that.

I loved when they did finally get together sexually. It’s incredibly hot and you can tell how much they wanted each other. The frustration was nearly visible. Axic’s species has a different way of impregnating their women, they can make them go into estrus. So, in the end, they did have their happily ever after.

We return to the Other Realm as Meri leaves behind everything she knows. Not without a fight though. I loved how upset she was when it was first mentioned. After all, that is the normal, human, reaction, and I think Beth Linton nailed it. Obviously, she goes, otherwise there’d be no story, but going there is only the beginning.

So many excellent parts to this story! It was brilliant to see Brenin and Ana again, and to see how their relationship is progressing. The main bulk of the story is how the Resistance is fighting Griffin, plus the attraction and growing relationship between Meri and Cadell. I just with the little trick of smelling your mate when suffering from morning sickness was real! I could have done with that years ago.

Stone was a statue performance artist and although at first he’s dubious about wanting to spend time chatting with Zeus the man intrigues him and so he gives in. Can they each find what they want from the other?

This is a fast paced M/M romance that is different and interesting. I was a little surprised Zeus didn’t seem as egotistical and overbearing as he is often portrayed. This sort of made sense seeing as he is one of the two heroes – but the different outlook on the Greek god threw me for a little while. I grew attached to Stone much more quickly, partly because I had no pre-conceived notions about him but also as a human and quite modern he felt a lot more relatable to me. I was impressed and intrigued how Zeus and Stone interacted and how their characters came to know each other.

I was pleased that while this story has plenty of steamy sex there was an intense and detailed plot as well. Zeus has some personal stuff to work through but Stone’s life – his work and his sister in particular – make two very interesting sub-plots as well. Readers who enjoy a steamy romance but plenty of plot as well should be particularly pleased with this quick read. I felt the author did a great job both with the pacing and balance between relationship and plot.

While there is mention of previous books in this series I haven’t read many of them and could still follow along with everything quite well – I feel this book stands well on it’s own and the others don’t need to be read for this to be fully enjoyed.

Hot and with two interesting characters and a lot of solid plot – this was a good and quick read.

But now she’s returned home all these years later hoping the cruel and hard Saint might be able to help her now she had no one else to turn to.

I found this to be a hot and sexy read. I was pleased the author took a bit of time re-introducing Saint and Olivia to each other again so I as the reader could grow more comfortable with how they worked together as a couple. While in the two previous books Saint had seemed very much a villainous character, cruel and aloof – only really caring about his MC family and the brewing war between a rival club the Saint in this story was a lot more complicated. Being able to see things from his perspective and hear his take on everything helped open him up as a character much better and more clearly to me. While I admit I felt a bit confused by this – in some ways he feels quite different to the previous viewings I had seen of his character – I enjoyed him far more here than I had before.

Olivia was also a complicated character and I enjoyed her attempts to build her confidence and her determination not to allow Saint to shatter her heart again. I felt the sub-plot of her abusive ex boyfriend was a little cliched but it was a decent reason for her to return to the small town and reconnect with Saint and ask for protection. I really enjoyed how the sub-plot of the brewing war between a rival MC moved along. Readers who haven’t read the previous two stories might not find this aspect of the story as interesting or cohesive as this appears to be an over-riding arc through the series and while I personally feel the plot and progress is quite clear and stands well alone others mightn’t feel the same.

Even with these two sub-plots I really enjoyed how Saint and Olivia’s romance and coming together really was front and center and the main aspect to the story. With steamy sex, a lot of long-brewing emotions and a bit of history weighted down between them there was plenty here to sink your teeth into and I feel the author did a good job weaving everything together into a great, sexy and interesting read. I look forward to future installments about other members of the club.

Honorable and kind, Pryce welcomes Siana into the family of The Guardians’ Trust, but to win her heart he must earn her trust and teach Siana that he is a man worth loving.

Siana was given in ‘marriage’ and raped in front of a galley full of men. How on earth can she be expected to marry again? This is the second book in The Guardian’s Trust series, and this time we follow Siana to the human realm as she tries to follow her new path.

Simply put, this was amazing! I loved how caring and gentle Pryce was from the beginning, his anger at the treatment Siana went through, and his determination to do the right thing. Siana is a brave, scared, woman, and who wouldn’t be after the things she has endured.

The best thing for me was the slow-burn. The slow building of trust, love, and support given to each other, by each other.

The attention to detail is second to none, and for that reason, I can’t wait to read more about those two men and the missing women. Of course, I’ll probably have to wait for Meredith, as the next book will take back to the Other realm, I think.

Veronica’s new job comes with a darling little boy, a Gothic castle and…a beast?

When recently laid-off Francophile Veronica Carson is recommended for an au pair job by the elegant leader of her French conversation group, she isn’t sure what to expect—but a Gothic castle deep in the wilds of Maine is certainly not it. Still, she’s drawn in by her joyful little charge, Jean-Philippe, and even more drawn to his brooding father.

Ruthlessly successful businessman Alain Reynard has loved before and has no wish to repeat the painful experience. The tragedy of his recent past is still fresh in his mind, and he wants nothing to do with his son’s lovely new au pair. Despite his best efforts, though, he can’t seem to get her off his mind.

Veronica Carson is a young woman who was laid off from her former job. Yet with a referral from an older lady in her French circle, she’s lucky enough to be offered an au pair job to a sweet young boy and his rather formidable, rich father who has many secrets in his background. This may be a plot that has been used many times over, but I like the way the author has developed such wonderful characters and how just one person can change the life of many just by being herself.

I love the character of Veronica who is well developed with an extremely open personality and a warmth that envelops all around her. Watching her with her charge, Jean-Philippe, warmed my heart. I had to laugh at his exuberance and energy, he is interested in learning anything and everything she can teach him with open curiosity and sweetness. She is a perfect fit for him, loving to have all the adventures he could wish, and I have no idea how she keeps up with him. Just reading about it makes me exhausted.

Alain is a remarkably interesting character that has so many secrets and distrust everyone but his son and family members. He hired Veronica on the spot when he saw just how wonderful she interacted with his son, being able to put up with all his chatter with humor.

Once their intimate relationship started, she saw the softer side of him and the incredibly sweet and hot lover. She was surprised at how careful and understanding he was when she admitted that she was a virgin, he also was a little possessive. She never expected him to return her feelings and she kept telling herself that he was her employer and that it wasn’t professional. Yet, when they gave into their own lust, everything else left her brain.

I liked this story and am very glad I picked it up. Recommended.
