Small-town mechanic and tattooed bad boy Travis keeps his profile low, his needs satisfied outside the city limits, and his business running smoothly. He doesn’t cause trouble and he certainly doesn’t want any. Trouble finds him one scorching afternoon, however, in the form of the equally scorching Arabella Drake. The former heiress owes Travis for car repairs, money she can’t readily pay.

Their situation requires a creative solution, and while most of the town rejects Bella, Travis wants to ravish her. He offers a proposal, one that will soften the repair costs—and satisfy Travis’ longstanding wish to have Bella Drake naked, writhing and sliding down on every inch of him.

Travis and Bella have wanted each other for years, even though their situations kept them apart. Now Bella is a former heiress, and most of the town hates her because of her brother, and then her car breaks down … it’s pretty obvious that things aren’t going well in her life.

All that comes to a head when Travis offers his creative solution to her car troubles, and since they both have lusted after each other for years, they both are on board. From there the story becomes one blazing hot scene after another. It’s not all sex, though the very creative sex scenes do add a lot of spice and an initial way for Travis and Bella to connect.

Their relationship becomes more and builds in a believable and well done manner. I truly believed that two people who enjoy each other bodies, could make an actual relationship work. I highly recommend this story, and I know I will pick up more stories from Ms. Matthews.

Savannah doesn’t want to believe in magic, even when she knows it exists. So even though she keeps having incredibly sexy dreams about two beautiful men, she tries to ignore them. At least until she wakes up one morning with a new tattoo and no way to account for it. She turns to her hot neighbor Tim for help, since he knows a tattoo artist who might be able to explain. Tim and Ryder are more than buddies, though. They’re the lovers who have been invading Savannah’s dreams.

Werewolf Ryder and dream walker Tim have wanted Savannah since she moved in next door. They desire her enough that Tim can’t stay out of her dreams, and Ryder is marking her in their sleep. With their lust out of control, they need to find a way to help bring out Savannah’s magical side, and draw her into their loving circle without driving her away.

What happens in dreams stays in dreams, right? Not when there’s magic in the room.
Gone are the days when people used to live with a misperception that erection order cheap levitra is possible with the intake of drugs. Savannah doesn’t want to believe in magic but there’s a part of her, buried deep, that can’t help but reach for what she knows to be truth. The reader isn’t given a real clear picture of where she came from but it is clear that her upbringing was strict and not always pleasant. I had no trouble feeling empathy for her situation and cheering for her to find a HEA with both Ryder and Tim.

Tim and Ryder are beautiful together. They’re so different in looks and personality but they mesh just right. I really liked the idea of Tim being a dream walker. That was a new twist on shifter story. He’s human but he has the ability to enter and interact with people in their dreams. Up until he started slipping into Savannah’s dreams, he’d only been able to play in the dream but there was never any evidence of his visit. That all changed when he and Ryder seduced and marked Savannah in a dream. It was meant to be, though. She needed them and they needed her.

Julia Talbot loves to write about shifters. It’s evident in her books. She practically pets them just to hear them purr. It’s in the dialogue and tension she builds between the characters. The men are intense and it isn’t just their woman they make all squirmy. The story isn’t heavy on plot but it is very character centric.

If I had to a single issue with the book it would have to be that I wanted there to be some closure for Savannah. She has a history and it’s interesting. Who are these people who took her in as a child and why were they so determined to make her deny magic? To feel like a freak and refuse to be true to herself? I wanted to know more about them but only for the sake of seeing them have to come to terms with what she is and how they made her feel.

I reach for Julia Talbot stories when the need for a good hot shifter book strikes me. They aren’t typically long but they are always satisfying. She writes some smoking M/M fun and it only gets better when she gives them a female to play with. Her books allow me to be a cybervoyer with no shame. It’s all just a good, no so clean, dirty fun read. If that sounds like your cup of tea, give Lovers of Her Dreams a try and don’t be surprised when you seek out more by this talented storyteller.

The Earl of Westbridge is dying, and without a male heir. His daughter Mary will lose her home if she does not marry before her father passes. She has already turned down two men while holding onto the hope of finding true love. In her desperation, she plays the wishing game, a childhood folly devised to chase away fear during thunderstorms.

Avery is the unwilling heir to the Westbridge earldom. He arrives a few days before the spring holiday in the middle of a horrific storm to offer his assistance to his distant cousin. Expecting a spinster who had been put on the shelf, he certainly never expected to develop feelings for the beautiful Mary Barrow.

Mistrust and doubt engulf them. It will take a miracle to bring them together. Or maybe just a wish come true.

A.S. Fenichel’s title sets the tone for her delightful Regency romance. As the daughter of a dying Earl, Mary Barrow knows that without a brother to inherit the title, the best she can look forward to, is to depend on the charity of her aunt and cousin and move in with them, or find a husband. But not even the threat of eviction will persuade Mary to give up her dreams of marrying for love. Not even the love of her cousin, her best friend and surrogate brother.

It takes tight writing to pack as much story into so few pages, but this author does a stunning job of presenting characters of depth, a story that flows along on every line of every page, and contains so much emotion that adds, and not detracts, from the pace of the story.

Every moment of the few days covered in Wishing Game is pace with information, tensions and emotions without a pause. But make no mistake that does not mean this reader felt overwhelmed by the masterful content. Far from it, I wanted to keep turning the pages.

Without shifting from the point of view of the main characters the author introduced several major secondary characters and a raft of supporting ones which added to the depth

This is a story that can be read in one sitting. It is a story full of the ‘feel-good-factor’, and I make no apology for describing it as such.

If you enjoy a sweet romance, and a Regency story, then I highly recommend Ms. A.S. Fenichel’s Wishing Game.

And unlike the human men Lily’s been evading all her life, Bane and Darek can keep up with her. They can bring her pleasure like she’s never known. But will the bond between the three of them be enough to make Bane and Darek risk everything?

I enjoy dragon shifter stories, so this one caught my eye, not only because it was dragon shifters but because there is a forbidden love aspect since dragons and idanas are not supposed to mix.

Bane and Darek, are both strong male characters that both want Lily, they hadn’t planned to share a mate, but when they meet Lily, they both feel a pull to her as their mate, so it becomes obvious they need to share.

Lily was interesting, because she knows nothing of being an idana, so when the men first meet her and accuse her of being evil, she is completely confused. That adds a fun twist that easily allows the world to be described in a convenient and believable way.

I really enjoyed this story, it’s a very erotic story, and the scenes were well written and very hot. I really enjoyed the flying scenes, it was refreshing for a story with dragon shifters to show them in their dragon forms so much.

It’s entertaining, has the forbidden love aspect and a fated mates story so it moves quickly. I recommend it to fans of shifter stories.

Ms Carr never fails to hit the spot and this well-written, angst and sex-fuelled plot is character driven and fully rounded. I liked how Impact ‘hit the ground running’ with the first scenes in the BDSM club. It was tense and very real and I adored initially meeting Conner through Jessica’s eyes.

The story is told from both points of view which does work well for the genre. I enjoyed the bull riding elements, it was just enough to set the scene and help me visualize Conner yet didn’t overtake the story. Jessica was a likeable heroine and I was rooting for her to get together with Conner, not just for some serious hotness but for a HEA. Hey, the girl deserved it big time!

It’s Susan Klein’s fortieth birthday, and her three best friends have been given a fortnight’s holiday at a Montana ranch as a special present. The four ladies are expecting to rest, breathe in pure, fresh air and hopefully get an eyeful of some handsome cowboys. Despite the wonderful present, Susan is quite touchy about the “big Four Oh” birthday and her friends enjoy gently teasing her about it. After her birthday dinner the four girls go down the street a little to set off some fire crackers. But things go awry when the fire spreads further than anticipated. A very angry cowboy confronts the ladies, and Susan finds there’s more than one way to play with fire.

This is a wonderfully character-driven story. I really enjoyed how Susan had her best friends with her – they made a strong and interesting secondary cast and added significantly to the storyline. The author also paced the plot quite well. I was easily led from being introduced to Susan and her situation, to the ranch and the cowboy brothers who split the land and work it. While people who want to read a fast-paced go-go-go book might find it slow, I actually enjoyed taking my time. The gradual unfurling of the plot meant instead of being bombarded by a hectic pace I could really relax and savour the characters and the story woven around them. While there’s nothing overly new to the plot it still read as fresh to me – mostly due to the fact I was hooked on Susan, Wyatt and the other characters’ lives and actions. I was a little disappointed with how stubborn Susan could be – and close-minded to the possibilities of a relationship with Wyatt – but have to admit it added a good amount of conflict and tension into the plot and also kept Wyatt honest and on his toes.

Readers wanting a more traditional cowboy-style romance might be a little disappointed. While Andy and Wyatt are genuine cowboys, they’ve mostly embraced the modern age. There’s plenty of horseback riding – but the women also manage to white water raft, rappel and fly fish, giving the feel of the book a bigger feel than simply staying on a dude ranch with dusty cowboys, horses and cows alone. I enjoyed this greater depth to the story, but must admit it did detract from the “dusty, open planed cowboy” feel of the story that I was expecting. I also would have liked a little more details into why Susan felt such an immediate, electrical attraction to Wyatt. As they got to know each other the level of chemistry between them showed clearly just how attracted they both were to each other, but initially I had trouble understanding why, exactly, Susan felt so connected to him when there was nothing more than her physical reaction to go on.

I found this to be a wonderful story, filled with memorable characters and a secondary cast that was three dimensional and interesting. The pace of this book was slow but steady, and the timing of the plot was expertly applied. A few small niggles can be easily overlooked in my opinion and overall this is a brilliant story and full of warm-hearted moments and characters you can really get into. A lovely story.

It took me some time to understand the rules governing spirits in this universe. While I figured out what they are and are not capable of doing, it would have been helpful to have certain restrictions spelled out a little sooner in the plot. What seem like inconsistencies early on turn out to have good explanations, and had this not been the case this story would have easily earned a much high rating.

By the end of the first scene I was intrigued by the spooky, atmospheric plot. Ms. Loneson does a fantastic job at combining the horror and erotic themes in unexpected ways beginning with the reader’s first introduction to Minerva. Gabriel needs Evie. As king of the Shadow world, he knows only one woman can complete him, can sate both his infinite carnal lust and the ache in his lonely heart. He’s spent years waiting for Evie, and he plans to claim her, body and soul.

The dreams of youth and the fantasies of an adult woman are no match for the spice and eroticism of reality. One young woman finds out that there’s a very thin line between fantasy and reality, the question is – can she have both?

Evie is an erotic author so this fits perfectly. Her trade means she shares her imagination with readers. This short tale explores her feelings, thoughts and ultimately her motivation for making a life changing choice. I liked how she waffles between wanting to believe and thinking it’s her overactive imagination. The truth is far more exciting.

Gabriel is an enigma. His plight is real and the author tried to fit a lot of angst and emotional connection in such a short space. For the most part it works. It certainly does for Evie. I liked that he’s a patient man and doesn’t bully anyone. The author effectively used a scene to showcase that fact. It made Evie’s falling in love with him more acceptable.

The tale is told from both their points of view but it’s mostly in Evie’s case because she has the most to lose and gain. Okay, so Gabriel could lose too, but he knows his world, Evie is just discovering it all and is understandably overwhelmed. The dialogue seemed to flow well and was well paced. The sex was potent. This being an erotic romance, it has the necessary verbiage to get a reader all steamed up but the emotional connection was a bit weak. The seduction on the other hand was a treat. I liked how Evie got all flustered every time Gabriel looked at her. It was a nice touch.

This is a bit of a holiday themed story. I question the use of the particular song choice during a tale of eroticism. I think a different song title might have been less cringe worthy. I also think the holiday themed wrap up sentence was a bit much all things considered. But the bottom line is, ultimately Evie and Gabriel achieve their happy ever after and that’s the best part. As far as wrapping up Evei’s side of things, the author didn’t miss a trick. I enjoyed the reference to Skype and other tech conveniences. It made the ending sweet and delightful.

The Invitation is a sexy snap shot erotic romance. It reads easily, the descriptions of the sex scenes were clear, well done and very titillating. The dynamics between Evie and Gabriel worked well because of the snippets of background the author shared. It’s a fun read and a nice and steamy way to spend some time.

Corrine is a strange and mysterious woman from the beginning of the story to the end. I felt as if I really did not know who she was, which made it more difficult for me to fully appreciate the budding romance between her and Aubert.

Aubert’s character was one I did get to appreciate since the better part of the story was based around him and his transition to loup-garou. Especially his inability to control his natural urges during his period of transition. For a man who is so used to being in control and proper, it was entertaining to see him lose his cool.

It was fascinating to learn about the history of both Aubert and his family throughout the story. On many instances I felt the flashbacks of the past were even more entertaining than the present, especially since it helped to build the romantic development between Aubert and Corrine. The present sometimes seemed to focused on Aubert and his own thoughts, urges, and issues and not enough about the relationship between him and Corrine. The antagonistic conflict and the mysterious circumstances around Corrine and the Loup-garou were enthralling, though. The mystery of it all really kept me wanting to read more and find out the story.

Except someone sabotages the key drawing before she gets her turn. Instead of spending the night with the ultra-hot doc her friends intended to “accidentally” set her up with, she winds up drawing her good friend Alex’s keys instead.

A night with Alex is coveted among players. Petra quickly finds out the reality of Alex far exceeds his legendary reputation. The moment they kiss they discover a chemistry so combustible it’s positively nuclear. Instantly engulfed in a red-hot haze of passion, neither of them sees it coming when Petra’s ex returns, repentant and threatening to ruin their newfound happiness.

The matchmaker gets the tables turned on her and wins the top prize, a forever kind of love.

The premise of two people who are at first friends and then realize that there’s more than friendship going on is an easy win for me. I can relate and the author does a lovely job of creating a plausible scenario for this short story. Petra and Alex work together. They’re part of a group of close friends who hang out and support each other…and throw 70s style key parties. That was a neat twist.

I won’t go into detail to explain a key party but the end result, while not what Petra’s friends planned, was Alex finally be presented with the opportunity to show Petra how he felt about her. It was sweet really. I think I may have missed something though. I’m not sure exactly how Alex managed to out thwart the matchmakers to get him paired with Petra. I don’t have a problem with reading this one again to find out.

Alex seems like such a nice guy and circumstances had always left him as ‘the boyfriend in waiting’. I was curious to see how Ms. Kingston would handle the morning after. Are they both happy? Is Petra sorry it happened? Is there much awkwardness, especially after ‘the incident’? That was interesting and a total first for me in an erotic romance.

I had no problem cheering for Petra and Alex but when Jude comes back onto the scene I had some mixed emotions. I liked Jude, too, and it was obvious that he and Petra had some serious feelings at one time. For that matter there was an episode with Alex and Jude that could have made it very easy for this to end in a ménage. I had hope when Alex thinks about the night they shared and realizes that he was able to let go and be a different person with Jude, he could be rougher and do things that he couldn’t do with a woman. My interest was truly piqued at that point. I had to see how it would all be resolved.

Ms. Kingston gives satisfying closure to all parties involved. The writing flows well even when the story moves swiftly along the timeline. I would have liked to have seen Alex and Petra at work together along with another character who plays an intricate part of this story, Dr. Michael. He sounded very interesting and doesn’t get nearly enough face time. Oh well, this is a series so maybe he gets his own HEA in a future book. The setup is certainly there to pair him off.

This is a quick read and I truly liked it well enough that I’m adding the first two books of the series to my TBR list. The writing style, character development and dialogue all appeal to me. This story isn’t long or drawn out, it’s perfect for readers who want all the romance and heat without packing on the background details.
