Long and Short Reviews welcomes Cheryl Holt who is celebrating the upcoming release of her Summer Trilogy. Please see the end of the post for the giveaway
My trilogy for Summer, 2020 is about my three heroines who were lost when they were tiny. They were headed to Jamaica with their parents, when their ship sunk in a storm, and they were the only survivors. They were found on a deserted island by British navy sailors and they were returned to England and handed over to various relatives. They never saw each other again, and they’ve been haunted by the tragedy they suffered when they were so small.
Libby, in Book #1, was claimed by a corrupt uncle. She was flamboyant and precocious, and he trained her for a life on the stage where, for twenty years, she’s regaled audiences with tales about the shipwreck. Caroline, in Book #2, was given to her miserly, cruel grandfather where she was abused and maligned and lived a true Cinderella existence. Joanna, in Book #3, had the only stable, happy childhood. She was raised by a kindly aunt who trained her to be a mid-wife and healer. She’s clairvoyant and knows all sorts of delicious magic that she hides from the world.
The three women are a trio of what just might be the best, most intriguing heroines I’ve created in years. They’ve lived difficult, unusual, and intriguing lives, and they’re ready to meet the men of their dreams and live happily ever after.
The 3 novels will be released on the same day, so you can read the whole series at once without having to wait for the next installment. They’ll be available both as print books and e-books. My Lost Girls trilogy! Coming August 11, 2020!
