So Logan reached out to a secretive company that brought likeminded people together, and Cassidy came into their orbit. Logan might crave Ryan’s touch, but he wasn’t prepared to cross that line and possibly ruin the relationship with his only best friend in the world. Until Ryan insists and Logan’s resolve crumbles.

This is an intense read, highly erotic and probably not for every readers tastes. The relationship between Logan and Ryan is strong, and the connection with Cassidy despite the short time is also very strong. There are a few scenes that might be triggers for some readers, spanking (and lashing using a belt) and bondage. Personally, I found them tastefully written and enticing, but they aren’t tame and might not suit other readers. I really enjoyed the bond between the three men and even though Logan’s secret from Ryan was a little unrealistic (who can hide such a thing for years from someone they’re so close to otherwise?) it certainly progressed the story and added some delicious conflict to the scenes. I also really appreciated how Logan wasn’t some weak, spineless submissive. He’s a strong man and a complex character, and one who simply wants to submit to one Dominant, not be a “traditional” submissive. This added complexity really enriched the story for me and I found myself utterly captivated by the three men and their blossoming relationship.

All three characters are deep, complex and multi-layered. Best of all, the plot connecting them isn’t thin, but richly woven. For a short story, I felt this packed one hell of a punch. Deeply erotic, sexily kinky and with a plot of personal conflict, this is something I can strongly recommend to many of my friends and plan to do so. I’ve not heard of the author before but on the strength of this single story alone I totally plan to search out the rest of her works.
