This is the third book in this series and I got to say I actually love this one better than the second one.
This third book is all about Kaisa and Devin. It is complete and gives any reader an idea of what it without feeling like they are missing out on anything. All of the books in this series can be totally read as a standalone without having an inkling that this is a series and that is what happened to me.
With the way this book started, I thought that the relationship between Kaisa and Devin was one sided. The writing was exceptional and thankfully portrayed both the characters and the budding romance very well. It is a budding romance which changes to full grown love in these 43 Pages. It is short, but very well distributed between the pages.
Kaisa is an Immortal, an Immortal with a broken heart. Her past has led her to hold her battered and bruised heart under lock and key. It was interesting to see how it would turn out when potential mate comes knocking on her door.
Miss Chenery story is very well written in every way. The ending was a little surprising. This is Ms. Chenery’s strength, her ability to make every character so unique.
Readers looking for a quickie that is totally fulfilling should give this one a try.
