This is BDSM done right! There are a lot of misconceptions about the BDSM world now-a-days, so I loved how this story showed that first, it is NOT abusive sex, and second, the sub isn’t a weak person. While the men did tie her down, chain her, spank her, and do a bunch of other things to her, it was always consensual. She was always asking for them to be hard with her.
One popular misconception in BDSM is that the sub has no control in the bedroom, but Porcha did have control. If she wanted to, she could have stopped. There was the safeword which she never used because she was always comfortable and enjoying herself with her three lovers.
I loved Porcha. Although she’s a sub, she was the most dominant character of the whole book. She was strong and always in control of her situation. If the men were busy doing something and she wanted to have sex, all she’d have to do is demand it and they would be at her mercy. So yes, while she was the sub in the bedroom, she was just as strong and just as brave as her men were outside of it. When she did land in real danger, she didn’t cry, she started to fight.
The suspense part of the story had its ups and downs. I didn’t care for the original excuse of who the bad guy was and why, and really hoped that they were wrong. I didn’t like how they arrived at that conclusion given the lack of evidence. And the whole escape was way too easy. But it all fell into place at the end. And lets face it, while the suspense was good, the sex was so much better.
All in all, it was a very entertaining story and the sex was hot, hot, hot. So worth the read!
