In a honeymoon gone wrong which would prove more valuable, the love of her husband or his skill as a Green Beret?
Blake and Rachel tied the knot and as a Green Beret he thinks a fun honeymoon is one spent in Panama in a cloud forest, but things don’t turn out quite as expected.
The author did a good job, allowing us to get to know this couple before they were plunged into danger in Panama…and I won’t give away what happens to them and ruin the plot for you. I liked the setting. I thought it was unique and the storyline different to most I’ve read. The sex scenes are well placed and there’s just the right amount for this short read. Dialogue was snappy and the pacing was brisk. My dislike…I would have loved to have seen this turned into a longer story. It has danger and adventure but by the time I was getting to really know these two lovers it was time to say goodbye. A longer story would have made this a truly great read for me.
Having said that, if you’re looking for a sexy story with danger lurking around the corner to finish out your summer reading, Wildcat is one to try.
I wanted to stop by and send a special thank you to Stephantois for the kind words of this review. I’m so very sorry that the story was short…it wasn’t my goal to disappoint. Rest assured that the characters of Far From Innocent and Wildcat aren’t finished…a longer story will follow.
Thank you again for the review but most of all for takin time to read my work.
