This story is about a soldier, the writer who falls in love with him and the everyday real life they need to deal with that could essentially tear them apart.

Cole Drummond is a Marine; it is all he ever wanted to be. Now he is a discharged Marine under the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell law. So where does he go from there? Back home in California and in law school. Meeting someone is not in his plans.

Marc Sullivan is just trying to pay his bills while he waits for his big break as a romance writer, and then one day a tall blond sexy man walks into the diner he is working in and it is love at first sight. Cat Grant’s talent makes their conversations fun, their sex intense and their love unwavering. Cole and Marc are the Romeo and Juliet of their time; such great love with so many outside forces, so much responsibility threatening to tear them apart. They made me cheer for them, cry for them and love every page of their story. Cat Grant has taken a tragic situation and turned it into a romantic love story. You don’t need to love military stories to love this because underneath it all…it is a truly classic love story!
