After someone exposes their role in a forbidden, sexual rite to heal the parched earth, Matt and Lena are forced to flee vigilantes and a rogue witch. Drawn to each other despite Matt’s ties to Kenji, the man who rescued him from a troubled past, they’re swept into a ménage, and the three witches exchange magical traits in an explosion of power and passion.

As Matt and Lena face another pentacle rite, a violent kidnapping, and a magical duel, their attachment deepens–and so does Kenji’s resentment at losing Matt. The addition of another witch to the group eases Kenji’s jealousy, and sparks fly when the foursome mingles sex and magic on the kitchen floor, carrying them finally, to the love they never imagined they’d find.
This paranormal story absolutely captivated me from start to finish. With powerful, passionate characters, descriptive settings, and super-hot ménage scenes, Nature’s Pentacle should please even the most discriminating reader of erotic romance.
Lena and Matt, paired together at a witches’ ritual meant to save the earth from drought, are drawn together long after the ritual has passed. When they find themselves hunted by both ignorant humans and dangerous enemy witches, they discover that joining forces will not only strengthen their power, it will save them from certain death. Along the way, they take up with sexy and powerful Kenji and kind, gentle, but equally passionate Giorgio. These four witches enjoy more than one sexual encounter, including a super-hot scene on a kitchen floor that has forever changed the way I will think about baking bread!
The minor characters in this story are interesting and well-developed too, from Lena’s roommate Sky to her sister Serena to powerful fellow witches Sorren and Jaimis. The climactic scene, a showdown between warring witches, is a powerful one (though I do wish it had been told by a participant in the battle, rather than by an observer).
My only small criticisms are that the chapter breaks come at very odd places, and the dialogue in some of the most intimate scenes is awkward, not fitting with the natural and lyrical writing in the rest of the story.
Those minor flaws aside, Nature’s Pentacle is a terrific paranormal tale, filled with great characters, a complex storyline, and super-hot ménage scenes. Don’t miss this one!
