Cat Mckibben wakes up one night to find herself chained to a bed at the will of a mysterious dark stranger. Yet his allure is more than she can handle as he entices her to follow him down a path of self-revelation and self-indulgence. When given to her fantasies, Cat finds the stranger more powerful than she imagined-and his identity is revealed as Dracula. Set out to take for himself a queen, Dracula informs Cat that her secret heritage makes her the predestined queen. Cat faces a decision-to stay with Dracula and enjoy a vampire’s life teeming with sensual bliss, or the alternative fate that awaits her when she wakes up once again in her former nightmarish reality . . .

Aside from sentences with missing words, spelling errors, and overall poor editing (which is what drove the rating on this review down), the story itself wasn’t bad. If you can overlook the errors, you should be able enjoy the story for what it was: an interesting, short paranormal story with hot sex.

I wish the final product had been better edited, as this author is one to watch. I would love to see something else by her. Her imagination is superb, her ability to color a story is commendable and her use of descriptive words in the telling was great. If editing errors don’t bother you, and you’re a fan of the paranormal, do yourself a favor–grab a copy of this story and dive in.
