This was a wonderful tale that showed the underbelly of high society, all the corrupt natures of the ton while still showing that love can survive even the worst of circumstances. Lucas and Charlotte’s story was wonderful because of the story line itself, not only the suspense but the unexpected blossoming of feelings that happens between the main characters.

As a reader, I would love for Ms. Silver to work this story into a series. The characters were so great to “meet” and interact with and I’d love to read more about Charlotte, Lucas and Charlotte’s three sisters. Author Lynne Silver spun a wonderful story and anyone who picks up this book will not be disappointed. She will definitely be on my list of authors to read in the future!
