With characters that will fascinate in an imaginative if unforgiving environment set in the future, Ms. Jacks has penned a tale that is sure to satisfy on so many levels. The writing is superb, vivid, engaging and utterly absorbing and the conflict between the lovers and their nemesis, is particularly well done! And to think I actually felt sorry for him at the start…
This wonderful love story is filled with passion and hope in a time and place where little, if any is offered. It’s about courage and taking chances, risking it all and doing the right thing, when doing anything at all, might just get you killed. It would make a great movie! I loved it and cannot recommend Landlocked by Cindy Jacks highly enough!
