Review by FernJaz O’Neill is a beautiful young photographer who can’t seem to make it in the art world with her sensual black and white photographs. Frustrated, she drives to an isolated beach, where she breaks into an abandoned amusement park to take a new series of photos that may bring her the fame she seeks.
Suddenly, she finds herself trapped with others who have visited the park over the last 100 years, but have not been allowed to leave. These people, still as young and lovely as they were when they arrived, wander the park at night, surrounded by strange auras that drive them into a sexual frenzy when they come close to one another. Each night, from midnight until dawn, the rides spin and whirl, and carnival food appears at the concession stands. Jaz senses an evil, powerful presence at work.
Jaz meets handsome young musician Will, who has been prisoner in the park since 1925. Together, they must find the dark secret behind their entrapment, and discover a way to overpower the evil spirit to gain their freedom. In the midst of it all, Jaz and Will explore the surprising love and passion they discover with each other.
Will they find their escape-and will they be able to hold onto their heated passion once they do?
Sometimes a person reads a story that leaves such an impression they’ll continue staring at that last word on the page or screen for several minutes, basking in the experience and allowing it to linger. Those are the books that make the largest impression, the ones that will remain in your mind for the rest of your life. Haunted Seduction is one of those books for me.
As a self-proclaimed horror nut, I enjoy the darker side of erotica. But finding good gothic romance is as difficult as tracking down that elusive pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Many of the offerings today are not gritty enough, and lack the realism that is essential to sucker punch a reader and leave them breathless. As cialis online overnight for me, I am very much eager to witness lots of health care professionals all over Australia and you can call their customer care department to set up a telephonic appointment with the doctors. It’s all about the HEA, the resolution, and making the audience happy versus following the natural progression of the story.
Haunted Seduction, I’m happy to say, is an exception to the rule.
The abandoned amusement park containing trapped residents that cannot leave or resist their sexual urges is beautifully envisioned. You can feel the mayhem, the madness, the intensity. There are no morals here, no right are wrong. Once you’re in, you’re in; there is nothing else. But even in the darkness there is hope, and that is what makes this story so very memorable – the characters. You’ll fall in love with Jaz and Will, cheering for them even as your heart breaks at what future awaits them. They are two people that leave an indelible impression, one not soon forgotten.
The entire work as a whole is excellent, from start to finish. Morgan James has constructed an unforgettable tale of love, loss, and deliverance. A Best Book for sure. I highly recommend Haunted Seduction.
