Ms. Harte has taken the concept of sexual heat and bonding to an entirely new level, which involves multiple partners and steamy scenes. The premise is unique and, for me, works. However, if you’re looking for a story in which the man and woman forsake all others, you won’t find it here. The characters are hot, hot, and hot, and the sexual encounters positively blister. Come prepared with a kicking A/C unit and plenty of ice water – or even better, give this a read in the currently brisk outdoors. You’re going to need something to combat the heat.

The writing, as usual, is fantastic, and ensures the pace doesn’t relent and you’ll read from start to finish. As a reader of the previous works, I was very excited to get my hands on Fallon’s Flame, and can say it didn’t disappoint. Fans of Marie Harte, especially those who enjoy Circ’s, this is a spin-off you don’t want to miss.
