Creative Spark has a little adventure, a little sweet romance, a touch of paranormal and fantasy combined. At first it appeared like an average “evil spirits on the other side” type of book. This very quickly changed to something completely different. I have always considered machines and ghostly spirits to be two different types of stories but the author cleverly blended them together to make an intriguing and interesting book. A little slow to begin with, but definitely worth the perseverance. I liked the fact it didn’t matter that I hadn’t read the first book in the series. I caught up pretty quickly without any long drawn out explanation.

Definitely a worthwhile read for those who like something a tad different.
