Elyssa, Jay and Patrick were once competitive school buddies but drifted apart, now a reunion brings them back together and the competition is far from over.
I found this an interesting story because the characters had a history. As the title suggests, the rivalry once experienced by Jay and Patrick has never gone away and resurfaces as the story opens.
I enjoyed the way the author introduced us to these three characters. We are given background information without it being too much too soon which is commendable in this short of a read.
The dialogue sounded natural and the pacing spot on for this length of work. My favorite aspect was I assumed that the two guys would compete physically and emotionally for Elyssa which the author portrayed at first. However, there was a wonderful twist in the tale which I won’t give away and spoil for you. These are likable characters and this was a story that I enjoyed reading to the last page.
If you’re looking for a sexy, short menage story with a satisfying ending then this might be an ideal read for you too.
Thank you so much for this thoughtful and kind review – I’m thrilled :).
