This novelette has the taste of beauty and the beast. It’s fairytale-like and the author does an excellent job of hauntingly taking you along the trail of the mystery man. Ms. Bedwell-Grime makes Aimee a warm, gracious young woman who is happy with her life and enjoys helping the homeless. She makes Tristan is a tortured soul that can have no long relationships and lives a lonely life.
