Dumping her fiance and going on their honeymoon alone was the best thing Laura Troxell had ever done. Too bad she had seen and heard too much and created enemies that wanted her dead.

Chevon von Janus simply wanted to mold the men and women that boarded his ship into the best Imarian officers they could possibly be. A general in his own right, Chevon was a trainer, but he was also a warrior. When his ship’s sensors picked up a strange object near an asteroid field, he felt it was his duty to investigate. What he found inside, however, threw the straightlaced general for a loop. The woman was from enemy territory. She was also his mate.

I enjoyed this short but fast paced and very intriguing Sci-Fi romance.

This is the entertaining love story of Laura and Chevon. Laura had been betrayed in the worst possible way. She had some spunk so she decided to have the last laugh and enjoy the luxurious honeymoon space cruise at her shady fiance’s expense, only to be attacked and set adrift in space to die. That was how Chevon, an Imarian space commander, rescues her and they quickly realize that they were true soul mates. He is detremined to keep her safe amidst an interstellar war between their two worlds.

I liked the main couple in this romance simply because of the unconditional way they accepted and supported each other. Chevon and Laura just wanted to be together and hopefully help to end the war between their people.

This story had some low suspense, loads of romance and steamy sex. It was entertaining and had a very nice epilogue, which is always appreciated by this reader.

I enjoyed this book and would consider reading any others in this series.

Tonio thought he loved a woman once, but it turned out to be a lie, and he’ll never trust himself again.

However, what will happen when he does fall for her? Will Zara stay with the man who saved her, or will she run when she sees the monster lurking within?

I usually enjoy all of Sam Crescent’s books and this dark, gritty mafia romance was everything that I had anticipated. This one packed a lot of emotions so that I was in tears within the first few pages and totally hooked on the story until the end.

Sam Crescent created characters and situations that grabbed my interest and engaged me in their story. I felt so bad for Tonio. He suffered terrible abuse and felt conflicted about himself. The author had me sobbing in the first chapter, and I thought Tonio would grow up to be a psychopath because of what his father made him do, but he was actually very sweet and caring, except to those who threatened his family, of course. Then he stumbled across Zara and rekindled their connection, saved her from her own mess and uncovered a plot against his brotherhood of friends.

Sam Crescent has written a dark, suspenseful and scorching hot romance with this second book in The Family series. I hadn’t read the previous book yet, but I loved this one so much that I’ll be revisiting this series quite soon. As usual, the author did a fantastic job in giving the characters plenty of problems to overcome and she made it sweet which should be contradictory to a dark romance, and yet she was able to pull it off with ease. I was completely engrossed in this short story and what a sweet epilogue for Tonio. I need books that have epilogues and actually hate it when an author doesn’t bother so this part also was special to me. There was even a teaser for Luiz that has me eager for his book, as well. That is another great aspect about Sam Crescent’s books is that she always delivers an entertaining story that will be special to the readers. This one was about hope, brotherhood and family.

I was very happy with this book and look forward to the next one.

This was a great paranormal romance. As a first time reader of Layne Macadam, I can honestly say that she has easily hooked a devoted follower with Wolf At The Door.

This lovely shifter romance is the second installment to the Heritage Series. The writing was excellent and had the perfect blend of excitement, intrigue and sexy romance. The characters were incredibly likeable. Jonah was a great tortured alpha hero who was more believable than most. He had legitimate concerns about something from his past that actually affected the relationship. I hate it when a book boyfriend goes on about his big secret and then it ends up being something that doesn’t matter anyway. Jonah was being sincere with his issue and that made him more real to me. Camille was a hoot as our heroine. She was fearless and courageous and charming. I absolutely loved her together with Jonah. Just as impressive was the intriguing cast of secondary characters. I can’t wait to read about Camille’s brothers, especially Connor, and also to find out more about why their mom had to leave their father. There is a mystery there that I am eager to explore.

Wolf At The Door was an excellent read that left me looking forward to the next book in the Heritage Series. I recommend it to everyone.

I really enjoyed this delightful fantasy frolic.

Precious Cargo begins a promising new series by Sarah Marsh. The characters were amazing. The story starts out on earth where Alison Baker is a lonely woman who gets abducted from her home and then wakes up somewhere in a far away galaxy. The space pirates, or Wargs as they were called, intend to sell her as a pleasure slave but their luck runs out when they attack the trade ship of Clan Drogan. This was a very entertaining and sexy story. It was fast paced and incredibly descriptive. Sarah Marsh painted a vivid picture of everyone and this helped to pull me into the story. I really liked the main characters and how sweet and protective that Conn, Tannen and Kal grew of Alison. I also enjoyed the hot menage sex scenes, of course.

I enjoyed this short and steamy romance from Sam Crescent.

This short story was put together nicely. It’s very fast paced and the characters were easy to like. Elise and Jon were intended to be another taboo-ish couple. I felt they were sweet together though. Again, Elise was a fuller figured heroine and Jon was her sexy older crush. This is an often used plot device for Sam Crescent. It works very well for her because she somehow makes it different every time.

In this one, I just loved the characters and I felt that their feelings were genuine. They had bonded together as a family without even realizing it and it made me feel good for them as the author opened their eyes. Also, Sam Crescent wasn’t stingy with the smoking hot sexy times either.

In a nutshell, this was a sweet and sexy story. I enjoyed it immensely.

Wow! Having never read anything by this author before, I didn’t know what to expect, but I’m happy to say that this was a book that I did not want to put down.

This story was dark and gritty and emotional all at the same time. Wolf and Clea were trapped in an almost impossible situation. Wolf seemed like a very flawed anti-hero to me. He had made a lot of mistakes and got people hurt and yet he continued to act without thinking. He wanted to make right, but his anger kept getting the best of him. Most importantly, he had cheated on Clea. Now, cheating happens to be a trigger for me so when I read that it had happened I started to dislike Wolf. However, let me be clear, it did not take place during the story though the consequences were a major plot point. I found myself upset on Clea’s behalf before I even met her. Clea was a strong heroine who became an anchor for what was left of her family. She turned her fear into anger and she took care of her family without compromising herself. Their reunion was filled with suspense as the situation with the Voodoo Kin turns violent. Wolf and Clea had to make some hard choices to be together.

I loved this fast paced story, especially the twists and the things concerning Nash. I am hoping he will get the next book. Wolf’s Hunt is not your typical sweet romance. Redemption doesn’t come easy or without a price. Sometimes it’s gritty and raw and painful. That part made this book a perfect thriller for me and I couldn’t put it down. I definitely can’t wait to read more from Amber Morgan.

But what will happen when of the MC’s enemies tries to destroy them, just as Richard, Temperance, and Jay start to work out? Can Richard save everyone, and have the two people he has come to care about? Or will he lose it all?

Wow! Another awesome read from Sam Crescent. Billionaire Beast is a sexy, suspenseful menage story that had me captivated from the first page.

This series has a bit of everything to thrill the reader. It has hot, alpha bikers who are billionaires determined to help people, especially women and children. Richard “The Beast” Bruce can’t stop thinking about his personal assistant Temperance but he doesn’t want to cross a line and lose her. Temperance is fascinated by her sexy boss but she doesn’t think he could possibly be interested in her. Once again, our heroine fits a certain description of being a fuller figured woman. Then one night Richard and Temperance can no longer deny their attraction and they finally have sex at the office after which Tempe runs back home to her best friend, Jay, who is also secretly in love with her. Being a billionaire biker who is used to taking what he wants Richard follows Tempe home and meets Jay. Almost immediately the two men decide to share Tempe rather than lose the woman they both love.

Now let me say that this book had an incredibly lively plot. There was some brief drama because neither man is willing to give up and Temperance had to be persuaded into the menage relationship. Throw in a jealous club girl and someone targeting the women connected to the Billionaire Bikers MC. Of course the sex is mind blowing because what else could it be since this is a Sam Crescent novel. Each element was blended together perfectly to make this book a fabulous read that I couldn’t put down.

Billionaire Beast was a great story and I can’t wait for the next book.

Killer In Him is a dark romance about a contract killer who breaks all the rules when he falls in love with a witness to his crime. Ben can’t eliminate a loose end since he has become fascinated with her. So he whisks Joy away to his private island.

The plot was well done and fast paced and the author showed how Ben and Joy were falling in love with each other. Ben made a great hero who is changed by the love of a good woman. To tell the truth that was the aspect that I connected with the most. I had a few mixed feelings toward Joy but thankfully the author didn’t have her instantly forget about the fact that he was a killer. She may fight him, but in the end she’ll know she was meant to be his in all ways.

I enjoyed this short sweet fantasy romance.

This book is set in a fantasy/alternate dimension. Right away, the heroine, Audrey, endeared herself to me when she finds herself in one desperate situation after another. Injured and drugged she was rescued by a hunky barbarian who wanted to claim her as his mate. Styx was so sweet and caring and possessive that it would’ve been impossible not to fall in love with him. Of course, I fell for him.  Despite their mutual attraction it took a short few for the real relationship to begin, since Audrey was torn between her desire for Styx and her need to be free. First, Styx had to earn her trust by showing her the difference between being a prisoner and being protected.

Once again, Jenika Snow has delivered an entertaining story that was well written, fast paced and had characters that were easy to like. I don’t read a lot of fantasy/Sci-Fi romance but I liked this one. It had a possessive alpha hero and a strong heroine who stood up for herself, and I loved the sexy good parts.
