In Claire’s world, Omegas are good and Alphas are bad. It’s that simple, and nothing she has seen has changed her mind. She is in for a bit of a shock though!
This is an intricate tale of love and betrayal, with a whodunit thrown in for good measure. The mystery side is there but it does take a back seat to the relationship between these four. You find out their backstories as the story progresses, in a relevant way to the story and not just an info-dump.
The characters all work, both separately and as a group. They all have baggage and reasons to be the way they are, and you can’t help but feel for them. This is billed as the first book in a series and I would definitely like to continue, just to see where this is going to go next.
With a smooth pace and an HFN ending, this was a great story that I thoroughly enjoyed and have no hesitation in recommending.
