Though the emotions were strong and present I was left wanting more. The story seemed like it should have been longer, and I belive it could have been a wonderful novel.

The characters were wonderful and the flow of the book great, it is just too bad it was not a longer fuller story. For a fun, flirty and quick read I would recommend this book. I hope the author has something more planned for this couple!

Her Full Moon Cowboys is one heck of a fantasy. We’re thrown into the action without any lead-in, so the abrupt plunge into this wild, undefined world, while exciting, let my suspension of disbelief wobble. Ultimately, though, I was able to go with the flow. About a third of the way through the book, we’re given some adult conversation about the situation, clarifying things and making them believable. What I didn’t find believable was Lily stopping to admire the décor while she’s running for her life. That information was necessary, but its positioning pulled me out of the story.

Despite my complaints, I loved the flashes of Ms. Allister’s sense of humor. The shower scene is full-on hotness. I liked the way the two male heroes played off each other. They’re complete individuals on the page and, by the tone of their voices alone, I never had any difficulty distinguishing who was who. My favorite part of the book was the way the author subtly wove the theme “marry in haste; repent at leisure” throughout.

Her Full Moon Cowboys is a fast read and if you like humor, and hot, bad cowboys, you’ll enjoy this book.

I couldn’t help but like her, especially when she finally comes around to Madison’s way of thinking and acts like a bulldog trying to protect them both!

Definitely worth reading, Wild Woods is a quick and entertaining read and, at eighty-eight pages, just right for light entertainment.

Draconian Measures is a fitting prequel and third book to the Gaven series. The plot is very reminiscent of classic romance novels with the wealthy prince trying to woo and win the poor, lonely orphan hurt by life. Fans of the series will want to know how these two got together as their courtship has been mentioned in both previous books. In many ways their story lives up to the gentle hype the series has given them and the humorous tone is a nice change from the darker two books. This gets slightly repetitive and stale the longer it goes on but overall remains entertaining and enjoyable. This is easy to recommend for fans of the series while those new to the author/series can pick this up as a standalone. Be warned though, Vlar is so utterly adorable you’ll be picking up the rest of the series too.

The Love of a Mate was a pleasant read. Though the story dragged on in spots and I would lose interest and would have to put the book away then come back later. This is the fourth book in this series and there were quite a few references made toward the early books. I felt lost at times on what was going on but I’m convinced had I read the other books I would have had a better understanding of what was going on with Alfred and why he is the way he is.

Overall it was a good read. I would recommend reading the three previous books in this series and in doing that it will make this tell much more entertaining.

When I started reading Deliberation Plantation, I was a little confused and had to go back and read the blurb so I could understand what was going on in the first few chapters. Ones I realized that Marcy Mahoney was opening a hot BDSM club and was choosing men for the club I was able to make a connection and got in the groove of the story line.

Picking four men because of the physical connection Marcy may end up with more than she bargained for.
