Everything they need is right next door…

Lydia has a crush on her neighbor, and though she’s not the type to make the first move, she manages to find the courage to knock on his door. Her timing couldn’t be better. Diego needs her more than she could have imagined.

Diego’s muse has left him, has fled along with his ex and his baby daughter. Unable to draw, he’s let his life go by, barely noticing the inspiration just next door. When Lydia comes knocking, he may find more than just his lost muse…

The pleasure of reading a short story is great when you want a little something to read ten or fifteen minutes before bed time or something fast and hot to share with your lover. Drawing Diego was a really short tale, though I did not realize it until after I got it. Since viagra vs generic so many gloomy things are occupying one’s mind, sex is the last thing he thinks about. When I first started reading I thought a few of the sentences sounded a little funny grammar wise, but I soon realized that Diego was Spanish and his English was a little spotty at times which was kind of cute and added a new dimension and flavor to the plot. Lydia, the heroine, was from India and came across as being a sweet and upbeat neighbor. The place where she lived had thin walls so she knew pretty much what went on next door. She was also a smart cookie, knew what she wanted, and was not shy about going after it.

The author had a great idea and did really well in pulling off a nice entertaining tale, but I thought this story could have been dynamite with just a few more details.

For anyone who would like to read a sample of this author’s work for a taste test, this story is a nice start. I think it has just enough devilish excitement between the pages to give you a feel for the author’s writing style, and see a little of her imagination through the written word.

His beast could rip out her heart…if she doesn’t claim his first.

Wild Things, Book 3

Chloe Long has cleaned up her last mess where her now ex-boyfriend is concerned. Desperate to clear her mind of her last images of him—in her bed with another woman, then with his hand around her throat—she heads for the mountains. The one place that refreshes her spirit.

Conan Cahill’s sojourn in the North Carolina mountains was supposed to be a break from the demands of his bear-shifter people…and the smell of humans. When he discovers a human female secretly sketching his naked body, though, his reaction catches him off guard. Not only does her scent rouse an aching need to touch and taste, her stubborn refusal to give up the drawing makes his body twitch in some very pleasurable ways.

Trapped with Conan in her tent during a storm, all thoughts of sleeping alone fly out of Chloe’s mind. She can’t help but grab something more than forty winks in her sleeping bag. They come together like thunder and lightning, but there’s danger beyond the rain. And the stirring of a love that may not survive their differences.

What’s a were-bear to do when he finally finds a woman who can see beyond his fur? Claim her of course. It’s not as easy as he’d like which made for a fun book to read.

Chloe is the heroine of the piece and she’s tired of always picking the wrong man. Seems she has an ideal but he only exists in her dreams. After reading the story, I think Fate was giving her hints as to who she was finally going to be happy with. It took a leap of faith and the ability to see the whole picture for Chloe to come to terms with what her future might hold – if she’s brave enough and emotionally strong enough to grab it. Her character goes through a process of believing, not believing and finally acceptance. The author handled the character’s fear and trepidation well without turning the heroine into a mass of conflicted angst that would have undermined her and overshadowed the plot and story. It was just the right balance.

Conan is the hero who is on the run. From what, I was never completely sure but the important thing is, I figured out who he was running to – eventually. The hero seemed like a lonely man which isn’t helped by the fact that he gave the impression that he was a loner as well. He doesn’t interact much with the outside world so his attempts at wooing the skittish Chloe were conflicted. He wants her, of that there is no doubt, but he’s plagued with a lot of insecurities and worries. For a big guy, he’s a crème puff. Its effect in bringing back a person’ sex drive is so fast and effective; many prescription de viagra doctors prefer to prescribe them to patients with ED. Typically, the concentrated acidic bile leads to irritation and inflammation of the tadalafil no prescription gallbladder. During osteoporosis bone micro architecture deteriorates, and the amount and variety of proteins in bone is altered leaving bones prone to fracture even from a slight canada generic viagra blow. Other prescription generic levitra australia drugs, multivitamins or herbal medicines may also interfere with functioning with this medication. The only thing that man was confident in and did with alacrity was making love to the heroine. His post-coital actions needed some refinement, but I am betting Chloe will be effective in fixing that. As it was, it contributed to the chaos called courtship.

There seemed to be a secondary romance going on between Chloe’s best friend, Nina and Conan’s buddy, Billy. It was cute and it was nice that everyone seemed to find love in the wilderness; I just wished that more time was spent on getting into Conan’s motivations and emotions. It seemed that the author only gave enough information to make their sexual union more palatable and believable. I guess it worked but I miss having that connection where I really craved to see them come together. I wasn’t teased enough and I think this book had plenty of length that it could have been addressed in some fashion.

The outside conflict came from an ex-boyfriend of Chloe’s. I figured he was going to push his brutish head into the mix and be as obnoxious as the author presented him early on. What I didn’t expect was the second and third confrontations. I was impressed by the last one because it totally took me by surprise. At that point, there were two layers of action going on. The one where Roger tried to instigate a violent reaction and did something brutal to Conan, and the other where the hero kept his promise to Chloe. As silly as I might have thought it was, because he interpreted it literally, it was romantic and sweet and proved Conan to be a true hero, all in the name of love.

Clawed didn’t end with a big, flowery and typical wrap-up. The finale showcased instead, a beginning. Chloe’s life will never be the same and it’s more powerful because she chose it. I found that much more romantic than anything either character could have said or done.

If love, were-bear style, is intriguing, then read Clawed. It’s an engaging and entertaining paranormal romance that has enough heat and fur to keep a reader’s interest.

Finn has been fighting his feelings for his trainer Raven since arriving at the Sons of Thanatus compound. Raven is attractive, strong, and completely unattainable. On the night of their friends Josh and Madden’s wedding, Raven finally gives Finn a clear sign that he, too, is interested. The night is heavenly until Finn realizes Raven’s feelings for him are only casual.

Left feeling used, Finn tries to ignore his still growing attraction to Raven. The men must work together on a mission to recruit a member of Finn’s old unit, and sharing his body with a man who wants only a bed buddy is breaking his heart.

When Raven’s cold treatment of him hits a new low, Finn is crushed, and he decides he and Raven need a clean—and final—break. Will Raven let him go, or will his facade finally crumble in the face of Finn’s departure?

Sometimes we think we know someone, until we find out he or she is a complete and utter jerk. Well imagine Finn’s surprise when he finds out that the man of his dreams is just that. Finn thought Raven felt the same way he did and they could have a relationship just to find out Raven is only interested in sex. As devastated as Finn is, he needs to either accept Raven how he is or give up on the man of his dreams.

Raven was a character I could relate to. He is kind and caring to others but, he has a hard time getting emotionally attached. While this is a defensive measure that many people take, it can make them miss opportunities to really find someone who cares about them, and that they can care about in turn. viagra prescription davidfraymusic.com Andropause patients can undergo testosterone replacement therapy – Sometimes this dysfunction is due to less testosterone production. While I seem a lot of myself in Raven, his character gave me hope that if he can get past is emotional barriers than maybe I can do the same, as well as others out there with the same problem.

At moments, I absolutely adored Finn’s character and at others, I just did not understand him. Clearly, the marines taught him to be a great and fearless leader, taking charge of his men and helping guide them through life’s problems. I saw him as this strong, masculine male when he was leading, but when it came to Raven he just seemed like a scared little boy, and it was hard to imagine they were the same character. At some points, I just wanted to tell him to man-up and deal with his problems with Raven directly. I was happy when he found a balance and stuck up for himself when it came to Raven.

One character that I could not get enough of in this story was Josh. He may not have been a main character, but he was by far the most entertaining. His antics had me laughing aloud and anticipating the next time he would show up in the story.

Another thing I really enjoyed in this story was the subplot with Finn and his group joining the Sons of Thanatus. It really let me see more characters as well as get a better understanding of who the main characters are. While this storyline was a little baffling to me at first in regards to who and what the Sons of Thanatus are, I quickly caught on and was deeply entertained. The subplot also allowed me to be introduced to the supporting characters that I cannot wait to see in future stories. A very enjoyable read.

Blake and Rachel tied the knot and as a Green Beret he thinks a fun honeymoon is one spent in Panama in a cloud forest, but things don’t turn out quite as expected.

The author did a good job, allowing us to get to know this couple before they were plunged into danger in Panama…and I won’t give away what happens to them and ruin the plot for you. I liked the setting. I thought it was unique and the storyline different to most I’ve read. The sex scenes are well placed and there’s just the right amount for this short read. Dialogue was snappy and the pacing was brisk. My dislike…I would have loved to have seen this turned into a longer story. It has danger and adventure but by the time I was getting to really know these two lovers it was time to say goodbye. A longer story would have made this a truly great read for me.

Ms. White has written a sensual quick read. I think since the story is so short, I was unable to feel a strong connection between Zalia and Xavier. It was apparent on the pages, but I didn’t feel it inside. Even considering the lack of connection, the story was a great read. Zalia is a beautiful plus sized woman. Xavier was immediately drawn to her; it was so sweet and endearing. Their passion was steamy and intense. Ms. White did a nice little twist at the end, with a misunderstanding and resolution. She put a great big grin on my face.

Do you have an extra hour or so today? Then you have plenty of time read this book. Put your feet up, relax and escape into another hot and steamy 1 Night Stand.

One spurned lover, one pissed off horse, and one goddess bent on happy endings.

Elizabeth isn’t interested in anything male unless it’s her stallion, Black. Unfortunately men don’t feel the same about her and she has so much unwanted male attention she disguises herself as one in order to escape it. But one man sees right through her disguise and surprises her with a toe-curling kiss to prove it. Surely he is just like all the others……isn’t he?

Doug isn’t sure why he woke up in 1868, but one thing he can’t deny is the attraction he feels for the spirited blonde he rescued. Until he knows for sure if he’ll return to the future one thing is certain – he needs to keep her out of his thoughts ….. and his bed.

Past Destinies is a time travel romance with a little mythology thrown in for good measure. Modern day Douglas Coleman is sweet beta hero, a doctor who plays a doctor on TV. He’s fed up with his life and his girlfriend. Elizabeth is a tomboyish, horse mad young woman living on her uncle’s horse breeding farm in 1868. Once they meet they have nice sexual and romantic tension. Their coming together is sweet and sexy at the same time.

Elizabeth is introduced in a scene where she is assisting horses with mating. So Elizabeth has been established as a no-nonsense, hard working young woman. She loves horses and loves her uncle, doesn’t get along with her aunt. She isn’t interested in men or marriage. She likes to wear boy’s jeans.

At the story’s opening, Doug is dating a stereotypical bad-tempered, arrogant, materialistic, plastic, blonde Hollywood bombshell. This is in addition viagra samples in canada elevated because of raucous snoring since it leads to dysfunction within the carotid artery blood circulation that is close to the air and we sometimes feel uneasy of the way we look to our partners. Just take a blue medication of the desired dosage rx viagra online with a glass of water and you will be all too happy to have it tested for you. Personally, it was hard for me to understand why Doug was with this girl to begin with. They are on a date and he’s nitpicking her in his mind and I am unable to keep from thinking: “Why are you still with her then? She is what she is but you have the choice to be with her. Either accept her or move on.” It made me a bit leery of his judgement in general and made it a little hard to relate to him at first. Okay, honestly, he irritated me in his first scenes. Doug is much easier to like and relate to once he is sent back into the past. He becomes helpful and thoughtful and has a nice sense of humor. He’s very sweet to the heroine and very tolerant of all the changes he has to go through to make it in the past. He’s a different man. Maybe more men should be sent to the past…

There is a fair amount of passive narrative in this story, which at times slows things. But enough of the story is spent deeply in character perspective that the pace stays bearable. The historical feel is good and strong. The sex itself is more like hot mainstream than erotic romance and leavened with plenty of emotion and a dash of humor. There isn’t a lot of sex in this story nor is the sex that is there very long page-wise.

Past Destinies is a sweet time travel romance with lots of romantic and sexual tension and a good historical feel. It’s not so much centered on actual sexual contact. If you like tomboyish heroines, horses and history and time travel, mythology and good-looking TV doctors, don’t miss this one.
