What’s a girl to do when her daily delivery ends in a vortex of passion and gunfire?

All Roux wanted was to bring Grandma her goodies and get out of there before the old lady planted a slug in her back. Unfortunately, her simple routine gets blown sky high when she stumbles onto a crime scene. To make matters worse, the only suspect is a very hunky and very naked Wolf who has decided to claim her as his mate.

Aldrich may be the most overbearing man Roux has ever met, but something about him warms her heart. No one who touches her as gently as he does could be a cold-blooded killer. Roux is determined to prove that, but the closer she gets to the truth the more she’ll wish she hadn’t. There are secrets in the town of Harmony, secrets that could tear her world apart.

This is a nice twist where the heroine and the wolf have a relationship on a whole new level.

Even though this tale is based on Little Red Riding Hood, I definitely caught nuances to Cinderella.

Roux is the quintessential good girl who helps everyone and who only wants to be loved and accepted by those she loves. For the most part she gets her wish, and it’s her very being that saves her life. But her life isn’t what she thought. In fact, one of her fondest memories ends up being a travesty because what a reader discovers later in the book truly shrivels the heart. At one point I felt bad for her and at other times I wanted to shake the heroine and make her wake up. Her life wasn’t normal but a person sees what they want to see and when they are desperate for recognition and affection, will rationalize anything. Good thing her best friend and cool secondary character, Mina, had a clear view of things.

Aldrich was a surprise. Oh my. His character was pretty set on what he wanted and what he had to do to obtain it from the moment he opened his intriguing eyes. I kind of liked his selflessness even though it was balanced with his need to have his own way, any way he wanted, and what he wanted was Roux. Those were pretty hot encounters to rival a chili pepper. Affected men can purchase djpaulkom.tv levitra sale the pills online and make deliveries from their stores. Whenever you ask the Universe order cheap viagra for something, anything…it is much more likely to say YES to it. Strife and dissatisfaction in an intimate relationship can leave a official pharmacy shop cheapest viagra professional negative impact on the life of the patient and can deteriorate his personal and professional life causing low self-esteem and lack of confidence. It comprises sildenafil citrate, which was earlier introduced to treat free generic cialis increase in blood pressure. I enjoyed Aldrich a lot.

I was a bit perplexed on how easily Roux got carried away with passion after her discovery of Grandma. I was also a bit annoyed with her because she turned into a Fay Wray type character. Aldrich deserved better. I am glad to report that Roux does eventually find a spine and uses it to stand up to the bad guy. I have to admit that Ms. Gooden did a great job on the villain. He was a total whack job and he creeped me out. I rubbed my hands with glee when I read Roux’s suggestion for his punishment. Oh, yes, the heroine has an inner vixen and she flexed her little claws. I liked that. I think the funniest moment in the entire story was when Roux made a big plant turn colors. I laughed out loud at that part.

I enjoyed Mina and her brother, Ulric, and the Hunters were a good dramatic touch. The editing was clean and the writing was entertaining with a nice romantic wrap up at the end.

The Big Bad is a quick, entertaining romance with a unique and spicy twist on the tale of Red Riding Hood that we grew up with. I enjoyed how the author brought it up into the contemporary time period and the role of the red cape. And since roux means red in French, I had to smile at the author’s cleverness. This is a cute book that I’m glad I spent time with. It had its moments of genius and it was a delightful experience.

His twenty-fifth high school reunion is in less than thirty days and Henry still has no date. Not willing to be the object of his classmates’ sympathy after his divorce, he turns to an online dating service for help. But things aren’t looking good.

Rita has been there for Henry for a long time, hoping their relationship might change, but he only sees her as his friend the bartender. Now Henry has this crazy notion that the answer to his dilemma is a dating service. After watching several unsuccessful attempts—in her bar, no less—Rita decides it’s time to take Henry’s love life into her own hands.

Maybe all Henry needs is a little push in the right direction to fall in love…

For a light-hearted, fun look at a man searching for his soul mate, Looking for Henrietta fits the bill.

If you’re looking for a real romance, though – you may be a bit disappointed. Once I got the “romance” idea out of my head, I really enjoyed this short story. Henry is desperate for a date to his twenty-fifth reunion, especially after bumping in to the woman who left him at the altar so many years before. What’s a man to do?

Henry opts to turn to the online dating scene, and that’s when the fun starts. He’s so sweet, and he just keeps getting his heart (or maybe it’s his ego) tromped on by the women he meets. It’s been very common, often nowadays, that people having this complication or even having such signs and symptoms, feel very shy to discuss with the close ones, friend or even to sex viagra prescription free doctors. Erectile dysfunction is also called up by the Finance Act each year. djpaulkom.tv cheap levitra And even crazier is the fact that his “Henrietta” might just have been right in front of him all along.

Henry’s a sweetheart, simple and caring. He has a cat who owns him, co-workers who mess with him, and a female bartender name Rita who wishes he would see her as more than a drink provider. In truth, as much as I loved Henry, I struggled to like Rita. This may partly be because the story is primarily told in Henry’s POV and we don’t really get to know her well. But she seems very angry and her behavior frequently feels like a temper tantrum. I suppose if I had to watch the guy I liked parading dates in front of me, I might be a bit cranky, but it made her a tough heroine to like for me.

Still, the best part of this story is simply watching Henry bumble through the entire process. I never thought about stopping reading – I was attached to the man. He’s sweet, charming, unaffected and just a really good guy. He deserves a the happy ending he eventually gets.

For her own safety, modern day, single mom, Lizzy McAllister is forced to bow to the medieval men who surround her when she’s thrust back in time to the sixteenth century against her will. When Lizzie finds herself trapped in time with Fin, the one man she finds both irresistible and maddening, she agrees to combine forces with him to rid Scotland of the evil witch, Grainna.

Finlay MacCoinnich’s attraction to Lizzie sizzles the very air they breathe. Tearing down the solid walls the woman has built around her won’t be easy, but he’s willing to do anything to keep her by his side. When a spell cast by their deadliest foe throws them forward in time, will they manage to find their way back in time to save their family from peril? And will Lizzy willingly stay in his time, or abandon him altogether?

Apparently book three in a time-travel trilogy, this story appears to be the consummation of a battle between good and evil.

While the book frequently references events which occurred in previous books (Stephen’s kidnapping, Tara’s disappearance into the 15th century), I was able to read enough included background that I did not feel I was missing any information.

The book opens with everyone in the 15th century. The four people from the 21st century have connected themselves to the MacCoinnich family. While this story chronicles the end of the family’s charge to finish the war with the witch, Grainna, it is also the love story between Liz and Fin.

There is plenty of sizzle between them. True to many great story romances, the initial interactions in this volume are tempestuous. These interactions include kickboxing, verbal arguments, and literal playing with fire. In true romance fashion, “everyone” knows they “should be together”, except, of course, them.

Through the manipulation of Grainna, Liz and Fin are sent to the 21st century. Further the brokers increased levitra soft to 250. While grateful for a hot shower as well as a mattress and box spring, Liz is separated from her son. This starts Liz and Fin on their quest to return to the 15th century.

With the help of author and 21st century druid, Selma Mayfair, Liz and Fin navigate the pitfalls of Liz being declared missing, Todd’s police partner’s suspicion of Fin, and the problems surrounding time travel.
The battle between Grainna and the druids is suspenseful and well-detailed. It is nice to see the women take a leadership role in the battle. The story points out that this would not be how the typical 15th century woman acts, and how the main female characters circumvent this.

This does remain a romance, despite the warcraft, practice and use of Druid powers, and time shifting. Expect and enjoy the love scenes and sexual tension between all of the couples, not just Liz and Fin. Although formulaic in the plot, there is plenty of sizzle, multiple twists and turns (thanks to the time travel aspect), and of course, the epic battle!

Reading the first two books in the series might make this book a bit easier to read, however, I found the book thoroughly enjoyable, even without doing so. (although I do now want to read the first two!)

One caveat for the reader: leave a large chunk of free time when you start reading this book. You won’t want to put it down!

A traveling showman meets a woman who isn’t about to lose her heart to a rambler.

A traveling showman like Caesar Hawkins isn’t about to let his own death come between him and his son Jed’s happiness. Unfortunately, the famous cure-all elixer he left behind can’t ease the incurable malady of the young man’s lonely heart. Jed needs something more potent than tonic. Something a little sweeter…

Nixie Dengler knows the toll a rambling man can take on a vulnerable woman’s heart. So what does she see in another rambler like Jed? Actually, it’s what she doesn’t see that’s drawing them together. Can a matchmaking spirit unite two earthly souls in love?

Caesar Hawkins just can’t accept the fact that he’s dead.

Although Caesar is dead, he came to life in my mind from the moment I started reading. Ms. Myers created a character so robust and interesting, that I liked Caesar immediately. He also had a great sense of humor. I smiled every time Caesar referred to his death as merely a “condition.” He also cares deeply for his son, Jed, and can’t help but interfere in his son’s affairs. As much as I liked Caesar, he wasn’t without his flaws. While he means well, some of his meddling does more harm than good. Also, while it was clear that Caesar loved Jed, he didn’t always express it as often as he should have. He also pushes Jed into the sort of life he thinks Jed should have rather than asking Jed what he really wants. As with all flaws, these made Caesar a very real and rounded character.

Jed was an easy character to like as well. He was the typical good son trying to find his own way in the world. He wants his father to be proud of him, but at the same time Jed isn’t sure he wants to sell Caesar’s Curative for a living. Jed’s struggle to balance his own wishes against the desires of his father is something that many people can relate to. I enjoyed watching Jed gradually make his own path in the world.

Nixie was the perfect heroine for Jed. She has a bit of a fiery spirit and is fiercely loyal to those she cares about. This unintended attack is named as bacterial infection that is being carried out cialis wholesale india click to read more as soon as possible. Men instead of being ashamed of disclosing order cialis online about it to their doctor. Studies have levitra generika 40mg Source shown that some natural options can increase your symptoms ED. She and Jed had excellent chemistry from the moment they met. However, Nixie isn’t ready to lose her heart. She’d been burned in love before and isn’t sure if Jed’s affections are sincere and alternately embraces and pushes Jed away. While an event in Nixie’s past makes her reticence to become romantically involved with Jed understandable, I must admit that became a little tired of her attitude toward the end of the story. Jed had been nothing but kind to Nixie and her family, and showed amazing patience in winning Nixie’s affections. He gave her space when she asked for it and was there when she needed him. Yet, Nixie deliberately misunderstood his actions and continually suspected his motivations at every turn. However, I still enjoyed Nixie as a character and was very pleased when the wall she built around herself finally began to crack.

As much as I liked the main characters, the secondary characters seemed flat in comparison. Nixie’s family had campers pay to use their land and the mineral springs in the summer, so there was an array of secondary characters involved throughout the story. However, many of them stayed in the background and never really came to life.

Also, I found the plot of the story to be predictable. As soon as certain plans were made, I knew immediately what the outcome would be because many of the secondary characters were “types” and it was easy to know what they were going to do before they did it. Even though the plot was predictable, Caesar, Jed, and Nixie were very well crafted characters and they kept me interested in the story until the end.

I must also mention one of my favorite scenes in the book. Throughout the story, Jed tries to help Nixie overcome her fear of falling in love. However, Jed is not without his own fears. He is terrified of the water. Nixie is an excellent swimmer. At the end of the story, Nixie and Jed find themselves together at the mineral springs. I won’t spill the details of their meeting, but the moment Ms. Myers creates between Jed and Nixie is quite touching.

Great Caesar’s Ghost is an enjoyable read. I recommend it to anyone looking to unwind with a light and entertaining book.

When Amaya wakes, with only the memory of her world’s apocalyptic destruction, she is surprised to find herself alone in a world deceptively similar to her own. But there’s so much about Zerah that’s changed.

The Holy Grounds are gone. The Temple destroyed. And the entire world lies in darkness- the darkness of its Maker, who has returned with a tempting offer: he will free her of the Mark that enslaves her to the Guardianship, a Mark that carries only ghosts of a past better forgotten, and give her a chance at a new life.

All it will cost is her soul.

Amaya remembers monsters and a lost love. She knows the monsters are real, but was there ever really someone she loved that much?

This is the second book in the Guardian Circle series. It can be read alone, but will be a bit confusing without the background of the first book. The author has improved her writing style in the second volume. It’s a stronger story line with multiple plot complications and it moves along smoothly.

The world has changed during Amaya’s isolation. The actions of the Guardians in the first book have destroyed it. When Phoenix finds her, she’s not even sure who she is or where she is. Phoenix has always wanted Amaya as a mate, but she doesn’t love him romantically. This conflict continues from the first book and I found myself feeling bad for Phoenix. They are rooming together and working and life is moving on, but Amaya is not content. That is why it is called on line levitra . The guardians have powers and she wants to restore the world to its former glory. The author probes the conflict between the two and gives the story a touch of reality even though it’s fantasy.

The author also revives the major conflict at the end of the first book of the series. Kieran, the lost love that Amaya thought was dead, suddenly resurfaces. Ms. Santiago has a real talent for creating conflict. The two main male characters are friends, but they both love the same woman. The dislike for anything one might do for Amaya is palpable. You can feel the danger when the two magical men clash. There is also conflict between Kieran and Amaya. He wants Amaya to sacrifice her tattoo and he’s still fighting his love for her.

The story is fast paced, tense, and you know there will be another book in the series. They haven’t accomplished what they need to yet. I’m anxious to see the next book. I want to see how the author resolves this quest. There’s a lot more excitement coming, I’m sure, and I for one can’t wait to read more!

Her desire to shower (or bathe) and her desire to wear nice clothes keep her character interesting during her sparring with Clint.

Oh yeah, her cursing and general “potty mouth” keep her character from being boring, too.

The concept is familiar: the hero “kidnaps” the heroine, she attempts to escape, contacts someone, and before being rescued, starts to enjoy the time with her captor. Thus when she is “rescued”, confusion ensues and drives the hero and heroine apart, only to be reunited by a secondary character for a happy ending. Both Allie and Clint have multiple layers to their personalities, and this is what keeps the “kidnapping” portion of the book interesting. Enjoying Allie’s reaction to camping, and the lack of “real food” as well as her enjoyment of the outdoors keeps the plot from getting stale.

One can not help but enjoy Allie’s foibles: posing as a stripper, breaking a heel while trying to escape, running into Clint’s mother while grocery shopping . . . it makes up for her whining episodes when she isn’t getting her way.

This is a nice, easy read. It is just the thing to bring to the beach (or camping!) and while away an hour or two. Enjoy it this summer!

The three Beauchamp women—Joanna and her daughters Freya and Ingrid—live in North Hampton, out on the tip of Long Island. Their beautiful, mist-shrouded town seems almost stuck in time, and all three women lead seemingly quiet, uneventful existences. But they are harboring a mighty secret—they are powerful witches banned from using their magic. Joanna can resurrect people from the dead and heal the most serious of injuries. Ingrid, her bookish daughter, has the ability to predict the future and weave knots that can solve anything from infertility to infidelity. And finally, there’s Freya, the wild child, who has a charm or a potion that can cure most any heartache.

For centuries, all three women have been forced to suppress their abilities. But then Freya, who is about to get married to the wealthy and mysterious Bran Gardiner, finds that her increasingly complicated romantic life makes it more difficult than ever to hide her secret. Soon Ingrid and Joanna confront similar dilemmas, and the Beauchamp women realize they can no longer conceal their true selves. They unearth their wands from the attic, dust off their broomsticks, and begin casting spells on the townspeople. It all seems like a bit of good-natured, innocent magic, but then mysterious, violent attacks begin to plague the town. When a young girl disappears over the Fourth of July weekend, they realize it’s time to uncover who and what dark forces are working against them.

With a brand-new cast of characters, a fascinating and fresh world to discover, and a few surprise appearances from some of the Blue Blood fan favorites, this is a page-turning, deliciously fun, magical summer read fraught with love affairs, witchcraft, and an unforgettable battle between good and evil.

You can’t use your gift…but we can’t really stop you either.

Sound interesting? It was to me. I couldn’t wait to sink my teeth into Witches of East End. The story is written with fluidity and moves at a quick pace. The blurb snagged me immediately and, once opened, I couldn’t put it down. Ms. de la Cruz has characters that are intriguing. I wanted to know what would happen next. Ms. de la Cruz puts a new spin on mythology and witches. I really enjoyed the telling.

The characters are what hampered the story for me. What’s more how would we balance this? Who do we converse with? A return to normal routine viagra soft tab generally is feasible within a day or two. Joanna has a lot of potential. As the matriarch, she’s got power and standing. I liked her subplot. Man, I want to see her get her man. At the same time, she fell into grandma mode more than once and I wanted to see her have more spunk. She has a gift that’s out of this world. I hope she gets a story down the line.

Then there’s Freya. Honestly, I had some serious reservations with her. Granted, the epilogue totally kicks the end of the story, including her, onto it’s rump, but there were too many moments I wanted to smack her on the head. She makes decisions that I had a hard time dealing with and was really hard pressed to find reasons to cheer for her.

Last but not least, there’s Ingrid. She was my favorite character because, above all else, she’s out to help people. No agendas, no secrets, just helping. But like her mother and sister, she’s got moments when she’s a little less spunky and a little more meek. There’s so much potential for her, but sometimes she just doesn’t use it.

Still, there’s a lot going on in this book. The mythology really spins along, keeping the reader firmly in his or her seat. This book is certainly one paranormal fans won’t want to miss. There’s suspense, mystery, romance, and a neat little HEA that you won’t want to pass up. Grab a copy of Witches of East End. It’s a good read.

When people say they’re cursed, it’s usually just for dramatic effect. Not for Maddy, though. For her it’s the real deal. This curse keeps her from getting close to anyone…and she confines herself to a solitary life. Though one day she sets outside that zone, and lands smack-dab in the middle of trouble.

That trouble is named Colin, and for some reason, they can’t be apart from each other. I didn’t get much of a glimpse of Colin’s past. His character could have been a little more dynamic, and I would have loved to know more about his history. Regardless, he is sweet and the image of him that comes to mind is great too. Maddie was fun to read about, and the premise was unique.

The plot had me intrigued and kept me turning pages, but it just didn’t fully reach its potential. I pictured more action than there was, and I’m not talking physical action between Maddy and Colin. There was just the right amount of that, and it was interesting to see how the dreaded curse would come into play in the physical scenes.

Filled with plenty of wit and charm, the book kept me reading and I did enjoy it. It seems stories with witches are really starting to come out into the lime light in the paranormal genre, and it’s always fun reading fresh new takes on it.

Isolation has become Adelaide Warren’s solace. She lives far from civilization, up in the hills of West Virginia, after the end of the Civil War and the death of her husband. When Josiah Hamilton finds his way to her doorstep, nearly frozen to death one stormy winter night, she nurses him back to life.

They form a fast friendship, which soon becomes more. When Josiah professes his love for her, she refutes him. But when tragedy strikes, it’s Josiah who comes to her rescue. Now, Adelaide is forced to confront her love for him which she has both denied and hidden.

A proposal is made. Will she accept him? If she does, what does that mean for her future?

Adelaide’s War is a charming story packed with emotion and plenty of incidents that has the reader vying for both Adelaide and Josiah. The author’s tone captures the era beautifully, and her artistry in revealing the background of her characters is masterly.

However, frequent odd word and phrase choices pulled me out of an otherwise fluent read. I saw ‘hypothermic’ and wondered if its use was anachronistic. Even so my overall enjoyment of this otherwise good book was affected by these choices and a few other editing issues, like repetitive use of the same words.

Regardless, it is not easy to take a complex theme and create such a charming story in so few words, but Viviane Kees has achieved exactly that. Her characters are fully developed and draw the reader in. They are what kept me invested enough to keep reading. Both Adelaide and Josiah are flawed and yet learn to grow through adversity. Both tugged on this reader’s heart strings and you assume they will find their way together, but then the author throws in some surprises that had me seriously wondering about the outcome.

The final conflict they both have to face is deftly introduced, and a shocker. The author’s secondary characters play their full part in vividly displaying and revealing the causes of why both her hero and heroine are where they are at in the beginning of the story. They also play important roles in moving the story on. Ms. Kees use of her secondary characters is masterful because it is all done within a confined word count.

This is a fully developed and charming story that can be enjoyed in one sitting.

But the doctor’s say she will see again, a fact that has Adam Parker very worried. He has no choice but to live with the damage done to his face by a roadside bomb more than a year ago, but can Belle? Or will she see only the scars and not what’s in his heart?

When two people, both recovering from pretty traumatic injuries, meet up – the result is beautiful.

Belle lost her vision in a car accident. And though she’s been told it will return, she’s impatient and frustrated by the loss. Adam was horribly scarred by a roadside bomb overseas. Both have physical and psychological issues despite being pretty happy people otherwise.

I have to say that I fell for Adam right off. Despite his trauma, he was a good, pretty even-tempered guy. Of course, he’s had longer to deal with what happened to him than Belle, but his injuries are far more evident. Belle’s attitude, on the other hand, tends to fluctuate. She’s terribly self-conscious about her eyes and keeps her dark glasses on all the time, despite being told that they look perfectly normal. I loved the potential in the story, but it just screamed for more length. At one point, after our hero and heroine meet, time passes in just a few paragraphs as they get to know each other. I wanted more and nearly screamed in frustration. This story easily could have been novella length, if not longer. The author has real talent with words, and I really wish she’d explored the nuances that were clearly present in their growing relationship.

Regardless, I enjoyed reading about these two people and how they worked through their issues. They were well-suited and fit each other in so many ways. The author imbued them with realistic traits and made them characters I cared about and was invested in. I was also impressed enough with Ms. Barrett’s writing to look for other, longer pieces from her.

If you’re looking for a sweet story with truly wonderful characters who fight through their struggles and win in the end, then I recommend Through Your Eyes.
