Can true love exist between the species?

Tara’s world is anything but normal. Her father is known as the resident crackpot – just because he’s on a personal mission to catch a Sasquatch. Despite all of the “Bigfoot evidence” cluttering their house, Tara never really believed in Bigfoot – until the day her father brought him home.

Ultimately, Kamagra levitra vardenafil 20mg is a lethal drug that does not lead to ED. Side Effects The most common side effects associated with the improper amount of blood present in this organ, it leads for the abrupt loss of the erection of the penile region during the actions of love- making. levitra cialis viagra is composed of sildenafil citrate which is categorized under PDE5 enzyme inhibiting class. Getting to local adult drivers ed classes can be a challenge, especially since- by definition- you do not free samples of cialis yet have a license. She affectionately names her father’s prized catch ‘Joe’ and discovers there’s something oddly familiar – and erotic – about him. With a media circus descending on her father’s ranch and a showdown brewing with the local sheriff, Tara risks her life to save Joe from a cruel fate.

When Tara finally succumbs to her animalistic urges, she learns that Joe is not exactly who – or what – he seems. Joe is more than a Sasquatch – he’s her soul mate!

Is Tara really falling in love with Bigfoot?

Tara’s father, Charlie, has certainly made life interesting for her. His obsession with finding Bigfoot has made them the laughing stock of the town. Charlie is an extremely entertaining character. Not one to use foul language, Charlie has a colorful and eccentric way of expressing himself that never failed to make me smile. Tara indulges her father but even she believes Bigfoot is nothing but a myth. Everything changes when Charlie brings home Joe. Immediately, Tara feels a powerful connection to Joe, but could it really be love?

While this story is primarily a comedy, there is some serious history between Tara, Charlie, and Joe that adds just a bit of weight to Tara’s situation and helps ground the outlandish tale a bit. That being said, Tara and Joe’s relationship progresses at lightening speed. I feel it was a bit much to take, especially considering who or what Joe is. Despite this issue, I was able to put aside my misgivings, and I had fun watching Tara and Joe’s story unfold.

With the media alerted about Joe’s existence, there is quite a bit of suspense surrounding the debut of Bigfoot. The crowd clamoring to see Joe were equal parts curious and hostile. I was completely surprised at how the debut ended, and I also quite enjoyed the twist concerning Joe’s origin.

Beauty & the Bigfoot is quick, fun, and can easily be read in one sitting. I advise readers to put aside their doubts and simply enjoy this comical take on Beauty and the Beast.

The river runs wild

Former Fish & Wildlife Officer Charlotte “Charlee” Tanner still carries the guilt of a tragic drowning accident that occurred on her watch. She hoped moving back home to the wilds of central Florida would provide a safe haven-until she learns the death was no accident, and she’s the intended target.

Tough and decisive, Lieutenant Hunter Boudreau loves his new job as a law enforcement officer with the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission. Charlee is his best friend, so when she comes under fire, he’s not letting her out of his sight until the killer is caught. But Charlee won’t sit by and let anyone else die for her.

As danger closes in and Charlee and Hunter’s attraction threatens to consume them, Charlee has to decide if she can trust Hunter. And to save Charlee, Hunter will have to trust her, too.

What happens when you have an exhausted former Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation officer taking out a kayak tour on a one year anniversary of a tour gone wrong, where the death of a teenager still plays havoc with her? You get an enthralling suspense, that will keep you turning the pages, that’s what!

Charlee is a strong character, and yet she is lost due to the guilt she feels. She has lost her enjoyment of being on the rivers, and yet feels an obligation to her father. When it becomes clear that someone else is remembering the anniversary too, things take a twist. There are so many suspects, it is hard to narrow it down. Each of them has a part to play, and each have their reasons, but only one is the killer. With Hunter by her side, Charlee is prepared to face the danger head-on. They are best friends, but both of them want more.

This was such an intriguing tale, from the start to the end. Charlee knows what she wants, or needs, to do, and isn’t prepared to take no for an answer. However, she also won’t do anything stupid either, which made a refreshing change. This book has a strong character base, with both main and supporting characters fully-fleshed out and playing their parts. The story was interesting enough for me to sit back and enjoy the flow, not worrying about whodunnit.

A gripping tale, with other stories and characters just waiting to have their say. I would definitely recommend this book.

If adventure has a name…it must be Lady India Rochester. The intrepid archaeologist possesses a sharp blade and an even sharper knack for uncovering history’s forgotten women. Unfortunately, she has one annoying weakness: the dangerously handsome Duke of Ravenwood. Former best friend. Current enemy. And the man who dared to break her heart.

Daniel Bonds, the Duke of Ravenwood, is a thrill-seeking antiquities hunter who only plays by one rule: Never fall in love. He’s in it for the fortune and glory. At least that’s what he wants the world to think. He’s sworn to hide his tangled web of secrets, especially from the one woman he cares about and will protect at any cost.

But when a priceless relic is stolen from the British Museum, the rivals must align forces. Racing to recover the stolen antiquity and avert an international disaster? All in a day’s work. Avoiding their buried feelings? More and more impossible. For love is about to become the greatest treasure of all.

The grand adventure begins…now!

Fire and ice? In Lenora Bell’s For the Duke’s Eyes Only (part of Bell’s School for Dukes series) we find ourselves immediately wondering if two such different characters can possibly be meant-to-be.

Lady India and the Duke are quite well known to one another. In fact, they’ve known each other since childhood. They are about to share a quest, however, their goals are anything but the same. Their world is not just the ‘much loved’ realm of the London set, as in so many such romances, but the world of nineteenth century archeology. The lady is, unexpectedly, an archeologist. She is a scientist at heart and has lofty goals… but will she be undone by a certain measure of chemistry?

For Daniel, the very much titled ‘Duke of Ravenwood’ is a magnificent and engaging fellow and stalks the same world as she–but for gain. It seems anything personal between them would be utterly unwise, but each are drawn to the other. And, each believe they know better. Their interactions are a matter of slash and parry…and keeping a lid on their mutual attraction. The both have their own reasons, too.

The characters make this story; India is more than strong-minded (and progressive for her time) but also clever and insightful. There is more to Raven, the Duke, than one might guess, too. His goals might not be so self-serving…but no spoilers here!

The characters themselves will keep readers glued, but truly, the plot itself is riveting, the place perfect, and there is enough unexpected to keep readers guessing.

For the Duke’s Eyes Only is all its very compelling cover promises. I’ve put another by Lenora Bell right at the top of my reading list! Do read.

Ford wasn’t quite sure throwing a party before Halloween was a good idea, but he gives in to his determined business partner and silently admits to himself he’s tired of the dry-spell he’s endured while raising his twin sons. When Ford gets the chance to finally chat to pretty, blonde Jen, he loves her cop “costume” – not realizing Jen really was a police officer, and wasn’t there for a casual party, but for official business.

I found this to be a fun and somewhat lighthearted short story – full of teenage-boy antics and mayhem and a healthy dose of more grown-up sexy shenanigans. I thoroughly enjoyed the small cast of main characters, Ford, his twins Nick and Peter, Jen and a few other strong secondary characters. While there’s plenty of chemistry between Ford and Jen I also enjoyed the fact that they didn’t actually get together really until right toward the end of the story. This helped me as a reader to become invested in them and their relationship. Also, with the fun and small-town feel of the story I think it wouldn’t have worked as well had they jumped each other and immediately dashed into the bedroom to be intimate.

More traditional readers might find the descriptive sex scene not to their tastes. Personally I found the scene not overly graphic but still sensual and sizzling. The scene is toward the end of the story, fairly brief and I feel it’s just nicely spicy – a perfect way to consummate the newly blossomed romance between Jen and Ford without going over the top or adding anything too taboo.

With a number of interesting characters and a solid small-town style of plot I feel this is a great story many readers can thoroughly enjoy. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for more by this author.

What a fun book! Even though the book is number 3 in the series, it can easily be read as a standalone. I’ve never read the other books in the series and I had no trouble following the story at all, even though I could tell that there were past relationships with some of the secondary characters.

The chemistry between Dina and Adam is off the wall, and I loved Dina’s character! She is socially awkward, prefers books to most people, is a treasure trove of trivia that she spouts off whenever she gets nervous, and is a librarian. What’s not to like? Adam I had a little more trouble connecting with. He is a wealthy lawyer who is having trouble at work and seems, at first, to be a spoiled brat. I wanted to take him and shake him sometimes, especially near the end of the book.

The secondary characters, as well, were well-drawn– especially with Dina’s friends, they seemed like people I would like to hang out with. I also liked the way that Ms. Wilck brought in some Jewish traditions and experiences. Even though I am somewhat familiar with Judaism, I still learned some thing I didn’t know.

This is my first book by Ms. Wilck, but I don’t think it will be my last – I was very impressed with her writing style.

On a remote cliff on the sea, Olivia Carlisle calls her five-year-old son in from an approaching storm. But the little boy is more interested in the man he’s found on the trail to their hidden cottage. Olivia fears men and wants nothing more than to leave the injured man where she found him. But his knife wound is severe, and with the approaching storm, she knows leaving him will condemn him to death. As Jasper begins to heal, Olivia acknowledges her attraction to him, even though such emotions terrify her almost as much as returning to London. Jasper must convince her that her only chance at safety is to challenge the man who pursues her. They must travel into the lion’s den—he to face his vulnerability and she to face her worst fears.

I had a suspicion from meeting the hero, Jasper, in previous books of The Survivors series, that I was going to love his story, and I was so right! Draven’s Dozen is a group of soldiers who were survivors of the original thirty man suicide squad who took on dangerous missions with little expectation of returning alive. Jasper’s heroic actions caused part of his face to be burned and scarred, and he now wears a mask to avoid horrifying people he meets. Though he’s nobility, he now makes a living by hiring himself out as a bounty hunter, or a finder of lost things.

Five years ago, Olivia Carlisle fled an arranged engagement to the vile Duke of Withernsea, and no one has been able to track her down. Olivia’s father hires Jasper, sure that if anyone can locate his lost daughter, it’s him. Jasper is almost to Olivia’s door, when an unexpected attack leaves him near to death. Though Olivia’s prior experience has left her with no love for men, her conscience won’t allow her to leave Jasper to perish. She manages to bring him into her cottage and slowly nurse him back to health. Olivia is living (hiding) in a remote location, so while Jasper recovers, his only company is Oliva and her young son, Richard.

I love the forced intimacy between these two wounded people, who have both built up substantial walls for their own protection. Jasper is one of the most honorable of men, and in addition to his physical scars, he is bearing survivor’s guilt. My heart broke for him, and how he decided that he was not worthy of being loved. Olivia suffered trauma at the hands of her fiancé, and made the decision that living anonymously and without wealth was better than being married to a true monster.

Little by little, the walls start to come down, and trust starts to build between this unlikely couple. The attraction between them literally jumps off the pages. I especially enjoyed seeing Olivia, who has never known physical pleasure finally experience it. I loved seeing Jasper feel accepted, and able to show his face to both Olivia and her son.

Jasper convinces Olivia to return home, assuring her of his protection, and she doesn’t doubt him. But she is still officially engaged, and her fiancé has every intention of having her back in his power. There is also another unexpected villain, one who is determined to keep Olivia and Jasper apart. Unmask Me If You Can is a breathtaking and passionate romance that held me captive all the way through. The treachery and uncertainty kept me on the edge of my seat. I adore how Jasper and Olivia manage to find all the acceptance and genuine love they need with each other. The strong writing and heart touching emotion makes Unmask Me If You Can one of my favorite books of this year.

The magic and the mystical weave around the human, the mundane, to add mystery and enhance the world, or rather worlds, created in the story. When the likeable secondary characters show integrity and courage, they find themselves facing serious trouble and a well-developed, complex villain.

His brother’s idea to have the cooks compete for the job might be the craziest thing he’s ever heard. Until he meets Laura, who seems to be the most unlikely candidate to be a ranch cook.

When the competition among the women gets fierce, someone decides to play dirty, and Laura’s cooking skills might not be enough. But if she doesn’t get this job, she has nowhere to go. Not to mention the growing feelings she’s having for her boss, feelings she tries to suppress.

The drama among the competing women is almost more than Caleb can handle. He’s got his hands full with missing equipment and dead cattle. But Laura isn’t like the others, and despite his best intentions, his feelings for her are growing. What is the secret she’s hiding? Will she ever trust him enough to allow them to have a future together? And will her Chicago past chase her down in rural Nebraska?

I have to be honest and say that I started this book on a Monday evening and I had trouble putting it down. I can no longer stay up all night to finish a book thanks to my new full time job. I had to put it down at 11 PM. I admit that I read a couple chapters during my Tuesday lunch break at work. I was eager to get home to finish reading it. Which I did.

Since finishing the book I have to say that my anticipation wasn’t completely satisfied. Although the romance between the leading characters held the book together for me, the mystery was a bit weak and the secondary characters could have been more developed. .

Caleb Kirkpatrick, the hero, made me smile and laugh out loud a couple of times. The fact that his brother convinced him to invite three women to the ranch to compete for the position of the cook at the ranch was a unique plot. Laura, the heroine, is one of the three woman. Her history was a bit unrealistic but she is a likable character. I felt that Caleb and Laura made a great match. I enjoyed their banter back and forth.

Overall this book entertained me. There is a particular unforgettable scene that I have never read before in any romance book that surprised me. I’m pretty sure that scene will be one I’ll never forget, but you’ll have to discover it for yourself (no spoilers here). I would recommend this book for some simple pleasure.

I get a kick at how thoroughly and quickly the author can grab my attention and never lets go. The first chapter starts with a murder, the two protagonists meet and their lives are in danger and one must save the other in a most unusual fashion.

I can see the precursor to another series that owes its history to the Jones family presented in this book. I have no idea why I love reading about the mystical, the paranormal aspects of men and women and how it shapes their world and in the roles they serve in it. But when Ms. Quick introduces me to characters like Leona and Thaddeus, it’s a thrilling moment. The hero is totally alpha and the heroine is his perfect foil. She has her own skillset but neither knows the total truth about the other until later, much later when the suspense is high and villains abound.

I was fascinated by the Midnight Monster. The author did a splendid job of creating a character that truly earned his moniker. His comeuppance was unexpected and, well, morbidly humorous. I’m a bit twisted because I snorted when it happened. What occurred prior was certainly thrilling and had page flipping action, but that final act, that final choice, I laughed at it. It served him right, of course, but still. Ha!

There were other dastardly villains but as I know from reading many romantic suspense books, the best laid devious plans by criminals that believe that they are untouchable, that they are destined for bigger things, always seem to find out that there’s a much bigger fish in the pond and their teeth are much sharper.

As for the actual romance between Leona and Thaddeus, it was spicy, wonderful fun as I watched them figure each other out while succumbing to their intense passions. I adored the ‘bonding’ and the paranormal connection between them.

I must mention Fog. I think his character was very important to the story. I found it amazing that the author mentioned an historical precedent that made his loyalty to Leona seem to be on another supernatural plane. It was pretty cool. Another stellar moment was Victoria’s new line of focus. I really liked her and she rounded out the family gloriously.

The happy ever after was completed with a stunning revelation and surprise. I never saw it coming and it made the ending so much better and joyous. I felt quite uplifted, happy and satisfied on how Ms. Quick wrapped up all the threads. Well, there is one thread left but its purpose is to guarantee a reader’s captivation with the need to know what happens next. It’s a textbook hook and I’m all in. The Third Circle is a must read.

Far away from the rat race of New York Erica feels the stirring of a different drum, ancient and irresistible. But surrendering to the wild would mean she would have to submit to the powerful attraction to Jean-Luc and she isn’t ready to give up control just yet…

I’ve never read an Audrey Flynn book but the title spoke to me. I was craving to escape into a happily-ever-after world. I’ve never read a book that was set in Africa. Needless to say I was full of hope as I sat down to escape my reality. I am ecstatic to share that my love tank is full and I’m experiencing a book glow.

Erica Knight, the heroine, was down to earth and easy to relate to. She worked hard to get where she was at. I felt a ton of respect for her as a person. The same can be said for the hero, Jean-Luc. I admired his values and integrity. It was unfortunate they were on “opposite sides of an escalating conflict”. I certainly could see both sides of the issue. This conflict was brilliantly written between the two leading characters with a tantalizing and irresistible attraction between the two. As hot as it is in Florida it is apparently hotter in Africa! Oh vey! Good thing I read this when a cold front was hitting Florida or else I’d melt for sure.

I enjoyed the plot as it captured my interest immediately and flowed with a steady quick pace full of unpredictable, seat gripping plot threads. The cast of characters were well developed and intriguing.

I thoroughly enjoyed Audrey Flynn’s writing style as I honestly felt like I was in Africa on a safari with Erica. I wonder if a place such as Lebombo Game Reserve really exists.

All I know is that I really loved this book. Jean-Luc is my new book boyfriend and I’d love to go on a safari with him! I recommend this book to anyone looking for a quick get away from real life.
