Sidonie Lindstrom’s hands and heart are full—she’s been uprooted from the urban life she loves, she’s grieving for her brother while raising her foster son Luis, and she’s trying to find a job with meaning. But her burdens feel lighter when she meets rural lawyer Mackenzie Knightley. Their attraction is powerful and unexpected. Life is perfect… until Sid learns that Mack hasn’t been completely honest about his job.

When problems arise with Luis’ foster care situation, she must decide: can she trust Mack again, when she has so much more to lose?

I first fell in love with Grace Burrowes Regency Romance. Now, I find her contemporary romance also sparkles and sizzles with complex characters, subtle humor, and multilayered storytelling. Her unique way of weaving words together to enthrall is amazing .She reaches in and touches the reader’s heart in a compelling way that makes one feel as if the characters are real. These characters grip the reader’s emotions and take that reader on a vicarious journey to be remembered.

But she carries a load of guilt deep inside is crushing.

Luis, her teenage son of mixed ethnic heritage, loves his foster mom, but he keeps himself at a certain distance, for he too has more than his share of guilt.

Mackenzie Knightley, the farrier who comes to Sidonie’s aid when she discovers two huge horses on her newly bought property, makes his living as a criminal lawyer. His back story enthralls. He is big and arrestingly handsome with a ”peat smoke” voice. His compassion and his caring ways with people and horses belie his courtroom persona. With people and horses he takes time to do little things—to pet, to feed—to talk to and gently lecture in his own special way. He too, like Sidonie and Luis, has guilt issues plus deep secrets that set him apart.

The secondary characters, like Mackenzie’s brothers and their loved ones, play big roles in the unfolding of the plot. They add depth and believable to the story.

The humor, work ethic, compassion, and can-do problem solving attitude keep Kiss Me Hello throbbing with activity and solid with quiet determination while love wiggles its way amongst it all to weaves its magic spell.

However, there is an undercurrent of anxiety that keeps the reader just a little uneasy early on in the story and builds as an antagonist, that I really, really came to dislike, uses position and power to try to wreak havoc on lives.

How Grace Burrowes gets matters resolved is different, daring, and delightful. Kiss Me Hello is wonderful reading!

As a five-nation war simmers in the Caspian Sea, Captain Claudia Jean “Cee-Cee’ Casperson of the Night Stalkers and Colonel Michael Gibson of Delta Force are called in to subdue the conflict. They’ll need all their combined ingenuity to stop a clash that could have catastrophic global repercussions. And they’ll need to do it while remaining under the radar. It’ll take all the strength they have—but it will take even more for the pair to breach the walls they’ve built around their hearts.

The realistic elements and the imagery that captivates the senses in Bring on the Dusk are compelling.

Like Buchman’s other military romances, Bring on the Dusk is rich with descriptions, imagery, humor, and realistic action that slip the reader into clandestine operations that send the heart racing and adrenaline pumping. The emotional connect with the characters keeps the reader alert and sensitive to the undercurrents that influence their actions, make them who they are, and highlight their “do or die” attitudes. The romance is sizzling and beautiful. The action is riveting and the characters complex.

If you have read earlier M. L. Buchman “Night Stalker” novels, you will recognize many of the characters in this novel. It is like a reunion—where you can catch up with these characters again and see how their lives are going. Bring on the Dusk stands alone as an exciting read, but it will probably entice a first-time Buchman reader to search out previous “Night Stalker” books.

Bring on the Dusk takes the reader on a vicarious journey that lingers in the mind long after the book is read and put on the shelf to be read again someday.

When widow Angela McClure decides to let loose and start a secret affair with a younger ranch hand, she inflames rancher Dusty Jackson’s long simmering desire. Both men are irresistible – and forbidden – so Angela forms a plan to divert her old-fashioned father’s suspicions: flirt with all of “her cowboys.’ The new competition makes Circle Bar K ranch hotter than it’s ever been before…

This novel is not at all what I expected. I assumed one thing and I found a fascinating treasure instead. This story has a lot of scenes filled with seduction, sexy shenanigans, and sexual innuendos and teasing but what thrilled me was the depth of character growth and the surprise shock at the end. Cowboy Heaven was a quick but awesome read.

Miami cheap brand cialis is one of the best cities in America. According to Livestrong.com, E is sometimes buy generic cialis called Wittmaack-Ekbom’s Syndrome. For readers of erotic romances used to their format, the first three chapters should be right up their alley as they provide an immediate hit to the libido. However, do not judge the entire novel based on the first three chapters of sexy intensity. There is a whole lot more coming a reader’s way that blew me away.

I liked the first person point of view from Angie. It’s her story and it’s her life that gets a jump start. What she sees, hears and experiences will forever change her. The story was solidly told from her perspective and what a fun time it was. She’s an older woman whose kids were now in college, and a widow. She’s still young and vibrant but for some reason, had lost that sense of being a sexual being. All it took was an impulsive decision to pick up a hitch hiking Troy and the fun began. I enjoyed getting to know her and watching her explore her sexuality for the first time in her life. What I didn’t expect was to laugh. I giggled, snorted and out right laughed at some of the things she got into. Once she let herself be free to express and explore her fantasies and her curiosity, I never knew what that woman would do, I was treated to some funny, silly yet very hot scenes that I really enjoyed. Even when she was in the middle of a threesome comparison, I was smiling. What I marveled at was the fact she was surrounded by cowboys with hearts of gold, who loved her, respected her and even when some were feeling jealous or slighted, never turned into jerks, morons or creepy stalkers. They were passionate guys who finally got a chance to air their own fantasies – but only one’s dream comes true.

Angela, being a mature adult, didn’t always act like it. In some cases, I understood, in others, she acted more like a hormonal teenager than a responsible ranch owner and mother. On the other hand, if I had a chance to experience no strings attached, unbridled passion and clandestine kinky sex, maybe I’d be a bit goofy too.

It was Joe that was the catalyst for suspicion. He also provided some endearing moments when onstage. Bull reminds me of an old co-worker – a good worker but with quirks that always seemed to rub folks the wrong way – we always got mad at him yet we couldn’t stay mad at him for long because he was quirky funny too; that was Bull in this story. Dusty was cute and it was good getting to know him but Troy cracked me up. Troy and Dusty are the two men who got to know Angela in the biblical sense.

The surprise came from one of the strong characters in the story. I won’t say anything more because I don’t want to ruin the bombshell. I can share that Ms. Brooks wrote in a devious mystery and a bit of darkness into the tale which explained a ton of the baggage everyone seemed to inadvertently carry but I never expected the reasoning or to what extent it went. The revelation can only be effective if a reader is in the dark as thoroughly as I was. I had an inkling about who I should be suspicious about, but the truth blew me away. It’s a very cool twist and it made this story better than good and is worth recommending.

Cowboy Heaven isn’t just hot and sexy, it’s intelligent, witty and well written. I liked the dynamics between Angie and the men she had to choose from, Troy and Dusty. I enjoyed the banter and sense of fun and friendship as well as the dialogue between all the characters. This was a wonderful read that surprised me with its depth of emotion and eventual romance. I am thrilled with the happy ever after and I absolutely recommend Cowboy Heaven to readers who like romances on the hot side. Even better, this book has a solid story to offer that makes the sex even more effective – because it allowed a reader to see Angela’s growth and her love for the man she eventually chooses. I’m very happy I read it.

Getting stranded has never felt so good…

Lauren Allen is on her way to meet her future in-laws when her car breaks down on a scorching, dusty Texas highway. There’s no shortage of handsome cowboys turning up to save the day, but she puts her trust in local rancher Steve Williams. From the moment she shakes his hand, his warm, calloused grip makes her hotter than she knows what to do with…

Cowboy Delight is wickedly seductive with spicy scenes that kept the pages turning until its final satisfying conclusion. I can’t believe how fast I read this story. I was highly entertained.

A sore back can be caused by muscular dysfunction, but it viagra pills can also be caused by a slipped or ruptured disc, spinal arthritis or a pinched nerve.
This is truly a sexy erotic short story with a wonderful storyline. Sure, I cringed a bit when Lauren decided to act upon her feelings even though she wore another man’s ring. But it was all the hints the author dropped that drew a clear picture for me so I could understand what was really going on and I was able to get past that issue.

The author presented me a heroine who had never loved, or truly been in love. When all these feelings started buzzing in her brain and sensations overwhelmed her senses, Lauren had an epiphany. She was a rare flower that was about to bloom for the first time, like a Chocolate Cosmos – sweet, special and beautiful. The man who coaxed her to spread her emotional wings was Steve, a widower who lost the woman he loved.

What I appreciated about the hero is that he wasn’t a martyr to his late wife. Some books make that the conflict and it’s torment. Ms. Brooks didn’t do that. Instead, this story picks up when Steve is ready to start living again. What I found amusing is that no one in town realized the hero was at that point in his life so they considered him ‘safe’. Wow, were they wrong! It was that assumption that put Lauren in Steve’s crosshairs and I enjoyed how they both discovered the truth about each other.

As is true with most of Ms. Brook’s writing, her sense of humor is cheeky, funny and at times quite clever. However, it’s toned down for this story so it complimented the personalities of the two main characters. I even enjoyed the scenes with the dog. It gave further insight into just how right the two were for each other.

The author wastes no time in getting her characters skin to skin, and even there, she put in a few giggles. It’s what made reading this story so fun. Lauren found out it’s okay to laugh during sex; that it wasn’t all ‘serious business’, and proper procedure. Nor was it all one sided. I enjoyed watching the heroine grow and change and realize who she really was, and what she really wanted. Sex with Steve played a huge role in that which is why I like this story so much. The sex had meaning; it brought joy, fun and a new beginning. It’s powerful stuff, and although it’s scorching hot and very detailed at times, the bottom line is that it’s during their lovemaking that the romance blossoms to something real and worth pursuing. It’s well done.

I also got the biggest chuckle right at the end with the zinger the author revealed. That, was a stroke of pure genius. If I could, I’d give Steve a high five.

Cowboy Delight is pure entertainment and well worth a hearty recommend. I liked Lauren and Steve and I think their happy ever after is going to be wonderful. I’m so happy I read this book. It’s a treat.

Now they’ll weave their way through the pitfalls of the polite world only if they’re willing to be true to themselves…and to each other…

Ms. Romain’s Secrets of a Scandalous Heiress is absolutely everything is cover (and its title) promises: spicy, intriguing and fun.

Augusta Marsh enjoys pretending – and why not? The genteel (if not quite uppercrust) society in Bath, south of London don’t know anything about her. One little secret, what can it harm?

Witty and whimsical, we kick off with overtones of a farce, as Augusta dodges a (usually drunk) admirer she’s dubbed ‘Hiccuper.’ Her dodge lands her in front of a passing acquaintance, Joss Everett, and the jig is up–or is it? It takes some conniving to keep her ‘place’ secure…and his as well.

There is also wonderful attention to detail. I loved the description of some of the decor. From busy pub-rooms to luxurious quarters… “Had scarcely time to collect an impression of Oriental luxury – lacy carved-wood, glossy tile, painted murals…” The feel and sense of place is wonderfully real, throughout. However, it is absolutely the characters that carry this work: Even among secondary characters, practically everyone has a memorable side, and always worth a chuckle; yet, this is a bit more heartfelt than simply funny, as Augusta and Joss grapple with who they are, their place in this realm of ‘not-quite’ and…who they are to one another.

Beautifully written, Secrets of a Scandalous Heiress is a must-read for anyone who enjoys romance.

I’m new to the writings of Linda Broday, but I’m glad I took the leap and tried this book. Her writing flows well and kept me entertained throughout. I wanted to know more and really felt like I was in Battle Creek, Texas with these characters.

Delta Dandridge is a complex character. She’s running from a rough past and fully ready to put that past behind her. I liked that she wasn’t wallowing in pity. She had grit and took on life. That was important because I wanted to root for her. I wasn’t wild about the idea of becoming a mail order bride, but that practice was acceptable back in the day. That was her way out and when that didn’t work so well, I liked that she didn’t hide. She went forward for what she wanted. You go girl!

Cooper came off a little rough, too, but once his hard shell was pierced, I saw a pretty nifty guy. I liked that he was wounded, too. He had some issues and thought he couldn’t get past them. He was the kind of guy I could enjoy and wanted to see him and Delta get that HEA. He’s troubled and sometimes lets that get him down, but underneath he’s the right man for Delta and I couldn’t get enough of them together.

There are a few subplots to the story. I won’t divulge much, but there is a lot going on and it’s all tied together, so don’t put this book down.

If you want a book that’s heavy on heart, hardship and overcoming that hardship, then this might be the book for you.

He’s rich. He’s handsome. He’s everything she wants, but nothing she thinks she can have.

I loved the idea of a guy that is so head-over-heels for a woman that he’s willing to fight for her no matter what. That sums up Filthy Rich. Nartan…he’s sexy and knows it, but he’s not vain. He just knows what he wants. I liked that Ms. Ryder wrote him in such a way that I could see him and man, was he a presence. I love that he was willing to chase Celeste and prove he wasn’t like her ex. Honestly, that was the best part of the story.

Celeste…now where do I begin? I liked the character because she was someone I could root for. She’s got issues in her past in the form of an ex who is…let’s just say he’s not very nice at all. I liked that she was wounded and relatable. She was someone I could see as one of my friends. I wanted her to succeed and get the guy. That said, her wishy-washy-ness early on was irritating. I understood WHY she wasn’t sure about Nartan, but watching her go back and forth got tedious.

Still, the chemistry between these two is off the charts and worth reading. If you like a book with a crazy rich man, a woman who wants said man and plenty of heat, then this might be the book for you.

Marlowe is a pickpocket, a housebreaker—and a better actress than any professional on the stage. She runs with the Covent Garden Cubs, a gang of thieves living in the slums of London’s Seven Dials. It’s a fierce life, and Marlowe has a hard outer shell. But when she’s alone, she allows herself to think of a time before—a dimly remembered life when she was called Elizabeth.

Maxwell, Lord Dane, is intrigued when his brother, a hired investigator, ropes him into his investigation of the fiercely beautiful hellion. He teaches her to navigate the social morass of the ton while his brother attempts to confirm her true identity. But Marlowe will not escape so easily. This is more than a love story; it’s a story of a family’s quest to be reunited, a journey of one man from self-involvement to awareness and a triumph over the machinations of a villain. Through it all is entertainment, fascination and excitement.

Earls Just Want to Have Fun sounds like a silly romantic jaunt in Regency England. It’s actually not silly at all but filled with hard truths of life on the street. The author does a good job of depicting the harshness, the struggles and the hopelessness of the people stuck in Seven Dials. The words like snapper, dubber and tilter lent an authentic air to the tale. Stuck in that mire amongst thievery and cutthroats is the heroine, Marlowe. A reader is quite aware who she really is based on the beginning but one of the book’s plot threads is how to get her back to where she belongs and that’s no easy task.

I crack up thinking about Max’s brother, Brook. In the back of my mind I hear Max say to Brook like Hardy did to Laurel (1930s), “Well here’s another nice mess you’ve gotten me into.” And what a mess it was. Max is so self-righteous and opinionated – and boring. He needs someone like Marlowe and readers are clued into that fairly quickly due to the skill of the author. Marlowe’s method of speech perplexed and discombobulated Max something fierce which created some of the most fun and amusing scenes throughout the novel.

I appreciated how Ms. Galen took the time to detail Max’s high-brow attitude in the beginning. It showed me a man I wouldn’t want to know, and through the course of trying to re-make Marlowe into Elizabeth, he changed, became a better man, a better person who finally understood what it means to be in love and to be loved. I really liked him by the time the book ended.

Marlowe a/k/a Elizabeth is a plucky, spunky survivor. She has no memory of her true history except some faded memory that seems like a dream. She is very distrusting of Max and the worst punishment he visited upon her was a bath. The one thing that stands out for me about the heroine is that she avoided being too clichéd. I’m thrilled. Usually when the bad guy threatens, the heroine turns into a stupid martyr and tries to act like she’s her own island. Not so, Marlowe. She had gumption and was actually very brave to do what she actually did do. For me that saved the story. If the author had her character do anything else I would have been greatly disappointed. Instead, I was treated to a heroine I was more than willing to read about, and enjoyed every minute of it.

Another treat was the seduction of Marlowe and its culmination. It was very sexy, sultry and had a lot of emotional impact. It complicated their relationship somewhat but that’s what made the novel more compelling and interesting.

Earls Just Want to Have Fun is a very well written tale that entertains in a big way. It’s busy, suspenseful and at times even a nail-biter, but it’s balanced perfectly with humor, fun, whimsy and strong emotions. Historical romance readers have a treat in store for them with this book. It has good triumphing over evil and a reluctant hero saving the day. It’s quite a roller coaster of a read with a completely satisfying happy ever after conclusion. The writing makes it easy to recommend the book to other romance readers. I liked it. What I liked too was the hook of getting to know Brook. He’s a man in serious need of a woman and I can’t wait for his turn. Bet it’s going to be fun!

Gage leads the other alphas on his team and I loved seeing how they all connected and worked together. Mackenzie is a strong female and I enjoyed seeing their relationship play out. Right from the start Mackenzie and Gage have an attraction that burns up the pages but could her snooping put Gage and his men in more danger? When Gage finds himself at a crossroads what will he do? Can he have both the one woman made for him and the safety of his pack or has that question already become null and void? I enjoyed the banter and the camaraderie between all the men. Each character is special in their own way and has so much to say. I cannot wait to see their stories play out.

Both Gage and Mackenzie must make hard and deep life changing decisions. Love and emotions war with the truth and secrets in this story. As Mackenzie and Gage try to sort through their feelings, danger lurks in the shadows. A mobster intent on revenge against Gage and his team brings more trouble to their world and pulls Mackenzie in as well. I am not a big fan of Mackenzie and the way she treated Gage and the other men after she discovers their secret. She does do right by them but the way she first handles it makes her seem cold and indifferent to the man she loves.

This is a fast paced, action packed story full of emotions. It was nice to see Gage and Mackenzie’s relationship grow from attraction to so much more. I enjoyed my first visit to this world through their story and hope that we get to see more from these men in the future.

Food, books, music – nearly everything that can be bought is purchased buying tadalafil tablets http://hartbuildersinc.com/html/outdoor.html over the Internet. When it comes to love generic viagra on line men can not resist its sale. We all have listened canadian pharmacy for cialis as the top most treatment for ED problems; Kamagra is a generic version of this medicine and contains the same ingredient of it. I really enjoyed how the author mixed up danger, exotic locations and romance with babysitting. The blurb only hints at the humor the story delivers when Huntley and Melissa try child care for the first time without any preparation or warning. What made it exceptionally challenging was the babies were part time furry jaguar cubs and potty time sure kept the hero and heroine hopping. Talk about a litmus test for parenthood!

Ms. Spear incorporated a lot of humor in her current adventure, Jaguar Pride. Some occasions were moments of lighthearted dialogue between Melissa and Huntley, and others were generated by watching two very capable and lethal agents turn to mush and being susceptible to the cuteness inherent in babies, human or cat, making the lead characters very human, relatable and interesting.

The bad guys are vile just by the nature of their activities. Kidnapping big jungle cats for profit is bad enough, but dealing with baby critters too is outright mean. The author made it very clear that poachers are to be reviled and are villains which, for the most part, are unable to be redeemed. I think the author was a bit heavy handed with dispatching the poachers left and right but in doing so reminds me of something I read at some point. I paraphrase, “Never get an author mad, she/he will write you into a book as a villain and give you your just desserts.” If that’s the case, well, no poacher should EVER cross Ms. Spear.

Most secondary characters were written well and supported Melissa and Huntley’s mission. At times, the flow of events seemed too smooth and orchestrated but the end result is what’s important. I believe the two guys from the Avenger branch were introduced to entice interest for future heroes. It didn’t quite work for me because they were too one dimensional and convenient. Perhaps in the future readers will get a better hint as to their hero-worthiness. As it is, I liked Everett a whole lot better.

I consider Oliver a red herring, Genista a clarifier and the local police as part-time comic foils. It’s a very busy book but no matter who is on stage, a reader is never left in doubt this is a solid standalone read about Melissa and Huntley falling in love during a mission. I really liked the chemistry between them and for readers who like falling in love to have a physical presence, Ms. Spear provides many opportunities for satisfaction.

Jaguard Pride is a nail biter of an adventure. It’s steamy, humorous and chock-full of action to keep readers at the edge of their seats. Even though the topic is serious, the story isn’t dark. The author focuses on the optimistic side of life even while dealing harshly with the dirty underbelly of poaching. It’s a difficult balance but Ms. Spear pulls it off, providing readers with a thoroughly gripping novel. It’s another winner.
