Through this fake fiance agreement, Zoe and Beau get to know each other more and learn their likes and dislikes. A good story comes with baggage and both of them have it. They balance each other out and make a great couple with a chemistry so hot that it made me want to dunk myself in a bucket of water. Did I mention there is a box of toys involved? I don’t mean kid toys! If you’re a reader just venturing into the BDSM genre, then this book might be what you want.

My only quibble? I wanted more of the story! I got so engrossed, I didn’t want it to end. I really liked this book.

This was a bit of a challenging book for me in regards to the character, Mr. Red. I never really got to connect with him, until the end of the book and that was sad. Why? Because then I didn’t want the story to end! I think this book would be great as a series where both points of view are presented. The climax was the best part of the book because I finally got to understand Mr. Red. There were moments when I thought one thing would happen, but then the author threw in plot twists that had me on my toes.

This is a great book for readers who want something shorter.

The minor characters were really attractive – from the guardian angel that Cruz has, to the Immortal Gods/Goddesses and Demigods. I’d love to read their stories, too!

From start to finish this book really grabbed me.

What attracted me to this book was the storyline. However, I was reluctant to read it for the same reason, since I had recently read a book with the kind of same story line before and that book was not as good as it could be.

This one was worth the curiosity of ‘will it be better?’ because I absolutely loved it.

I loved how the story started and the development of the characters and the plot while more backstory was seamlessly shared.  What I enjoyed more were the main characters and their relationship, and how they started. The supporting characters for this book are just as interesting as the main ones. There is a second book in this series ( I just checked) and I am reading it, as soon as I read this book again.

Lost in Vengeance was a diamond. I did not expect it be good and it shocked me how much I was into it until the ending and the HEA. I love a book with a good HEA. Recommended.

Wow…. It has been a long time since I have read a novel where the female character was self sufficient in and out of violent situations. I will try not to go into much detail but the first chapter started with Violet beating the daylights of some gangsters and having fun doing it. 😀 I am all for female characters like this, but this was not the only reason for me falling in love with these characters. Mason and Jacob were understanding and patient with her. That, for me, was rare since in some of these shifter books, the passion and the chemistry outweighs everything else.

From the get go, I realized she is a tough woman with a past. She holds grudges easily and harbors a lot of guilt. I wasn’t sure if the bond between Mason, Violet & Jacob would be permanent. Will Violet trust her mates and let them in or push them aside?

Mason and Jacob highlight the importance of mates in various parts of the book quite often. So much so that I was kind of annoyed by the repetition. As the story progressed, I was able ot look beyond this quibble. I should mention there is a lot of violence in this book. Be prepared. For me, though, book was worth it. I could not put it down.

That being said, one of the primary things I loved was how the story didn’t fit into a normal mold. Amy gets dumped. When she next sees him she asks the obvious question. WHY? The answer opened something and gave their relationship a chance. It also reminded me why openness between couples is so important.

This short story may not appeal to readers who aren’t into multiple partner groupings. But those who like to reach for books with hot chemistry and even hotter sex, this will be gem. As I mentioned, this book as an erotic read was truly wonderful, eye opening and worth the quick read.

How could there be a happily ever after? It seemed impossible.

Something else I liked about this is that it has a little bit of a mystery/suspense aspect. It kept me one my toes. An easy recommend. A wonderful read.

Overall a great book with a romance and a climax that will either make you smile or cry happy tears. An easy recommend.
