The plot twists were brutal and painful. Intrigue Me has the sweet ‘aww’ moments, the ‘I can’t get enough of you’ moments, the ‘screw you’ moments and so on. It’s sweet, sad, with endless passion and chemistry as well as hurt; there is every emotion in that spectrum here. The author tried–and succeeded, I believe–in writing an erotic romance story which touches and captures the heart of it all, while making sure the chemistry and passion of both still burned as high as ever.

Keely is an independent no nonsense “it’s my way or no way” kind of gal. She’s certainly not submissive. Evan is a businessman, a Tech Geek, a Scotsman and a billionaire. He’s strong and very persistent. There is a conflict about an age difference between both of them and Keely is unwilling to take a chance due to that. Fortunately, Evan is determined to work through her resistance.

I loved reading Keely and Evan’s conversations more than anything in this. Insatiable in a Kilt is an all-rounder – a very well written and wonderfully descriptive romance.

I love reading books with soft, sweet innocent heroines but I adore these stories about independent, kicka** heroines who knows how to solve their own problems. Siovan is an assassin that can fight with the best of them and probably win as well. Her search for her younger sister has lead her to Lucien, the vampire prince.

Lucien is not just a vampire. Or a prince. His family is more powerful than the average vampire. He met Siovan in search of a cure for him brother’s ‘ailment’.

I have not read the first book but I do believe that the characters from the first book appears in this as well. This plot is also a result of the first book. Or a continuation from the first book with a new couple. Therefore, I suggest reading in order. Nevertheless, the author did a wonderful job of trying to make this a book that can be read as a stand alone. There are multiple plots which keeps you on your toes and reading until the end. There are scenes of violence, slavery and torture, etc. Probable slavery and/or violence to children. So be careful if those things bother you.

Lucien and Siovan has a chemistry that blazes through it all. Their interaction makes me smile every time. Both of them have a warrior heart and the combination of passion makes it explosive. The secondary characters was a blast. Every one of these characters had facets that make you fall in love. They are as different as day and night.

Readers who love heroines with sass and attitude will love this.

Spider is one character who has intrigued me for some time. The story of Spider and his love is one I have been waiting for quite some time. And, the wait was well worth it. Spider is quite a bit older than Luciana. And reading this story was a blast.

Luciana is a bit timid and shy, but strong as well. She trusts Spider. That says a lot about her character especially when the story of her past comes out.

Spider is quite different than most of the members of the MC that I have read so far. I love that. The heat and chemistry are present between both of them as well as Spider’s patience for Luciana. He is very much in tune with her and her needs.

It is a short read but it has scenes of violence and miscarriage that some readers may not like. As well as talk of rape.

That being said the climax and prologue surprised me but reading this story was well worth everything.

This story is about a relationship between a crime boss/capo and a regular woman, and it’s enjoyable since their relationship went through highs and lows. At the end, they come out better than before. The book is a good read for those who want something a bit different.

Scratch is quite a bit older than her but also understood enough to give her and her son space as well as everything they would need to grow. He was insightful enough to know that there were somethings that would take time to heal.

Clarity’s trust in Scratch did not come immediately. Instead it came gradually. Action speaks louder than words and his actions were loud and clear. Their chemistry rose up each time spend together with each other. There is drama. Thing about it–a woman, child and biker plus romance? There has to be drama and this book delivers. Between the kid, Scratch’s brothers, Clarity’s past and the club, it kept me entertained throughout.

There is a mystery in here that took some time to unravel but the suspense of it made it all so worth it.

The story is of trust and love and family. Recommended.

It was fascinating especially when you realize that they have chemistry.

There is a backstory that goes back long before Lavender was born. It was easy to understand. Both Lavender and Wire have a past that was entwined together and has brought both of them together for better or for worse.

Their chemistry and relationship–when you put that together with the other brothers and their old ladies, yeah, it seems like a story in itself. It made me smile, laugh, cry and everything in between. However, I should add: there are scenes of violence.

This is a fun, fiery, sexy, bloody and a story that will give you a whole range of emotions.

I loved how descriptive this book was because even though it took some time for me to get into the story, it just felt realistic. This is the author’s first book and it was so good. The mystery and suspense along with a bit of romance meshed so well for me. Ms. Mathews kept the mystery there right up until the end–even with the twists and turns. The characterizations were good and realistic. They had a depth to them that I rarely see and get to read. This story had not just a mystery but showed the closeness of family and friends, as well as not so good or close friends.

I found that the romance was sweet and not the main focus. Even though the romance and chemistry was slow to start, by the time I read half the book, I was rooting for them. I can see their relationship develop from strangers to becoming the most important people for each other.

The climax was a climax to remember. Great for readers who want a mystery as well as that family and friends feel.

First and foremost this is a mystery with suspense, but then it is a romance. This is a Second Chance Romance that makes you swoon root for them both and earnestly wait for her to accept him.

Lindsey, second in command in a prominent and illustrious marketing agency, and John, a famous forensic accountant have a past. A very hot and sensual one at that. It was the silence after the fact and that spanned years made Lindsey distrustful not just in him but herself as well.

What brought them together was her the death of her boss. That one strange phone call spiraled Elite and everyone down a road that they may not get out of in one piece.

The story was really well-written, especially the mystery aspect, and that helped when the mystery got dark. It was a twisting and suspenseful road.  I do wish there was more information or backstory with Lindsey and John. Their love story plot, though great, was not the main plot, and it felt a bit drawn out for how long the full story is. The Romantic plot and the Mystery plot helped me want to reach the climax, which might not have been possible with just one genre here.

I have not read book one but it does feel as if some of the characters appear in book one. If you are going to read the series it may be best read it in order. That being said this book is great for readers who want both Mystery and Romance.
